As a first point of contact for many of our wonderful supporters, you will provide excellent supporter care, respond to queries and fulfil material orders.
You will also work across Public Fundraising (community fundraising, events fundraising, individual giving, legacy marketing) and Innovation, Performance and Trading teams to support in delivering excellent supporter experience, actioning daily administrative tasks, desktop research and insights, and support with events and fundraising campaigns.
You will work alongside another Public Fundraising Assistant to help ensure ways of working are right for you, the team and our supporters.
About the role
You will play a key part in making sure that anyone and everyone who wants to fundraise for people with arthritis has a great experience doing it.
You will manage various inboxes, meeting the needs of our supporters and ensuring that where necessary, they will be escalated or signposted to the right place.
A typical day (although there rarely is one!) could include fulfilling Gifts in Wills packs from the office, feeding back on a supporter journey email, chasing a Christmas cards order with a supplier, reviewing Individual Giving data for a mailing or chatting to a supporter about how to maximise funds raised at a plant sale.
The role is a brilliant entry level role in the charity sector, giving you a chance to learn about many different types of income generation and engagement.

About the Role
You will:
- Provide direct advocacy support to children and young people with disabilities, in and on the edges of the care system. You will hold a caseload, and be committed to championing the rights of these young people, working with a broad range of other stakeholders and agencies to do so.
- Support with developing the quality of services and projects delivered by Coram Voice to children and young people. This includes under Coram Voice’s Disability Outreach Project. It is an exciting time to join this project, which has recently expanded to include educational advocacy in addition to social care focused advocacy.
- You will support in the promotion of good practice across both Coram Voice and external organisations, building equitable and inclusive practice across the sector for children and young people with disabilities.
Our advocates will have relevant experience with children and young people, and may hold a suitable Advocacy Qualification. UK for UNHCR, the UK partner of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), is seeking an Individual Giving leader to shape the future of Individual Giving at the organisation and unlock long-term, sustainable income growth.
UNHCR stands alongside people forced to flee their homes, advocating for their rights and raising funds to support their protection, dignity and futures. UNHCR’s work has never been more important – by the end of 2024, a record 122.6 million people were displaced, with children accounting for 40% of all forcibly displaced people
UK for UNHCR (UK4U) builds solidarity and raises funds in the UK for refugees worldwide - last year UK4U raised a total income of £25.5 million and continues to build on strong foundations since its beginnings in 2019.
The charity is now seeking a Director of Individual Giving in a new and exciting opportunity to explore how UK4U can expand on these foundations, with a focus on increasing the sustainability of the donor base and maximising lifetime value, as well as identifying opportunities for transformational income growth.
The role will be responsible for leading a team of 12 people and strategic leadership for all fundraising from the UK public, including mid-value and legacy supporters, and covering both digital and offline channels. About the role
We’re working to build and grow a powerful movement of people to transform the experience of people living with Parkinson’s. A big part of how we will do that is by engaging and mobilising our existing supporters through a wide variety of channels to take additional actions in support of Parkinson’s UK.
Your focus will be to understand the current experience for our existing supporters as well as looking for opportunities to improve experience, build loyalty and ultimately increase the lifetime value of our existing supporter base.
What you’ll do:

Understand, map, and visualise Supporter Journeys (on and offline) at Parkinson’s UK, identifying opportunities and pain points.

Create cross-channel supporter engagement moments and deliver direct mail communications that drive action.

Lead the development of journeys for existing supporters of Parkinson's UK across our various products (e.g. individual giving, community fundraising).

Help us transform how we use direct mail to engage supporters across the Fundraising & Experience directorate.

Deliver in collaboration with the wider Supporter Engagement Team the supporter engagement transformation programme to improve the supporter experience.

The Organisation
The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are: Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.

The Role
As a Fundraising Officer, you will lead on all individual giving activity. You will manage our two annual appeals through a mix of email and direct mail, as well as the supporter journeys for all new and existing individual giving supporters.
You’ll help the Corporate Volunteering team with the administration and development of our Corporate Volunteering pipelines.
Additionally, you will:
- Develop the Marketing Plan for individual campaigns with all stakeholders, to meet agreed objectives
- Review artwork and edit copy to ensure it meets both campaign objectives and The Royal Parks brand guidelines
- Ensure best value for money for campaign production and prepare detailed campaign management reports
- Ensure that all supporters are adequately thanked and receiving the best supporter experience
- Manage and steward relationships with existing corporate volunteering partners
About You
To be considered as a Fundraising Officer, you will need:
- Fundraising experience, ideally in a small to medium-sized charity
- Experience of, or that would be transferable to, handling sensitive conversations with people who have been bereaved with empathy and tact
- Excellent administrative skills with the ability to accurately maintain large quantities of data
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills

Prospectus is delighted to be working with the foundation to recruit a Lead Funding Manager on a full-time (or 0.8) to lead the delivery of the foundation’s priorities for Gender Justice and Children and Young People’s Rights, as part of A Fairer Future (AFF) team. This role is a maternity contract for up to 12 months. A hybrid working model is in place which entails working at least 2 days per week in their office in Kings Cross (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and the remainder flexibly working from home if you wish).
In A Fairer Future, there are five focus areas:

The role:
This leadership role will provide grant-making and strategic support capacity to the AFF team, which currently consists of 7 people reporting to the Director of A Fairer Future. The role will take on existing relationships in the form of a portfolio of larger grants at various points in their funding journey. This person will pick up these relationships and ensure continuity as well as assessing new applications. This role will take a lead on strategic initiatives, driving impact in the Gender Justice and Children and Young People’s Rights priorities. Committed to social justice, the candidate will be ambitious to help create change using the foundation's full range of tools and approaches. This role will be responsible for informing, influencing and monitoring the implementation of the AFF strategy and programme, including developing and assessing proposals for activities, leading on the delivery of impact, and maintaining external networks to provide strategic guidance to the Foundation.
Convening collaborations, commissioning research and mobilising networks to create change will be core aspects of this role in addition to supporting other team members with expertise relating to the two sectors. This person will be responsible for managing the larger grant relationships throughout out the grant cycle, capturing and embedding learning along the way. They will also be responsible for site visits and facilitating online discussions with organisations, as well as representing the foundation at sector forums and events concentrating on the AFF priority areas.
The culture at the foundation is collaborative and nurturing, so working closely with colleagues to share ideas and learn from each other will be essential in this role.
The person:
The successful candidate will have substantial grant-making experience in addition to having knowledge of the Children and Young People and/or Gender Justice sectors, perhaps gained through work in the voluntary or local authority sector, or through another funder. Highly organised, intellectually curious and pragmatic, this person will be able to unpick complex information and will be confident and experienced in assessing grant applicants’ financial information. They will understand the charity funding world and importantly, the challenges faced by marginalised communities across the UK in the face of widespread inequity. The AFF team works with the Involving Young People’s Collective, candidates should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the value of co-production.
IT confident and systematic in their approach, this person will also be confident and empathetic team leader in addition to being an excellent communicator, both in person and in written work. Excellent attention to detail, thorough and collaborative in their approach to work, this person will be a real team player whilst being able to work under their own steam, working in a fast-paced environment.
A broad understanding and experience of systems change principles and an appreciation of the nuanced intersections between the various priorities of the AFF programme will be important to success in this role. The ability to contribute to the effectiveness of a busy team through encouragement and inspiration will also be important.
