The Email Marketing Officer role is key to our supporter communications. You will work across teams to deliver our email programme, building high-quality, personalised campaigns and engaging content using your copywriting skills. - You'll support the team with the end-to-end delivery of marketing, stewardship, transactional and automated email campaigns.

About This Role
As Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of some of Smart Works most visible and multi-faceted partnerships that support our vision of ensuring that any unemployed woman is able to transform her life through the positive power of employment.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, your portfolio will span a range of sectors, including consumer, technology and finance. This varied portfolio of partners encompasses a range of giving mechanisms, including philanthropy, charity of the year and cause related marketing.
Alongside managing a portfolio of national partners, you will also be responsible for achieving income targets, cultivating and stewarding relationships, thinking creatively and strategically to grow and retain partnerships.
This role will work with the wider Partnerships team and our local Smart Works centres to secure and develop local partnerships (outside of London) and embed national partnerships across our 12 UK centres, maximising opportunities to benefit the whole of Smart Works Group.

Job Description
We are looking to recruit an experienced, inquisitive and motivating manager to provide leadership to a team managing a portfolio of high profile National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) experimental medicine research infrastructure funding schemes.
Job Purpose
The Programme Lead will provide leadership for the end-to-end grants and research management of NIHR’s experimental medicine research infrastructure portfolio, which includes the flagship Biomedical Research Centres, the Clinical Research Facilities, the Commercial Research Delivery Centres, the HealthTech Research Centres and others. The postholder will lead work to drive the evolution of the experimental medicine portfolio and shape its future direction. In addition, they will play a key role in NIHR’s interaction with the experimental medicine community and will work closely with senior colleagues from the Department of Health and Social Care.
The Programme Lead will report to the Assistant Director of Research Infrastructure, will have responsibility for the activities of a team of Senior Research Managers and Research Managers, and will work closely with the broader Infrastructure team.
Key Accountabilities:

Lead the delivery and strategic development of the experimental medicine research infrastructure portfolio:

Portfolio development: Develop and maintain expert knowledge of the funded portfolio in order to identify gaps or opportunities for greater impact and to build robust cases for new activities.

Strategic direction for existing funding schemes: Oversee the delivery of scheme reviews and evaluations for your portfolio to develop recommendations for the next funding calls.

Working across the health and care research landscape: Represent the schemes and portfolio in discussions with colleagues from DHSC, NIHR and beyond to ensure synergies are identified and can be capitalised on. Contribute to activities to raise the visibility of the awards within academic, clinical, public and government fora.

Commissioning of research: Provide management oversight of the delivery of new funding competitions, development of application guidance notes, the organisation of international panel meetings, the production of minutes and provision of feedback to applicants.

Development of new funding calls: Respond to ad hoc requests from DHSC/NIHR to develop and deliver new priority funding calls, mobilising resources to develop an appropriate assessment mechanism and suitable monitoring processes.

Contract management and annual reporting: Support the team to process contractual requests/changes required during the lifetime of an award and requests for information (e.g. Parliamentary Questions, FOI requests or briefings for ministers). Monitor award progress through an annual reporting process and together with the Assistant Director, sign off on award holder feedback and monitor risk management.

Team Management and Support: Guide the development of the individuals within your team to allow them to reach their potential. Co-ordinate and delegate activities within your team and work together with the Assistant Director and Programme Lead for Applied Health Infrastructure to share learning and ensure consistency across the broader infrastructure team. Support efficient ways of working whilst maintaining attention to detail and delivery to deadlines.

Stakeholder engagement: Deliver productive relationships with key stakeholders including Infrastructure Centre Directors. Work with the Directors to develop and support the implementation of collaborative working between individual awards and schemes. Oversee the co-production of strategically relevant agenda for Infrastructure Centre Directors’ meetings and other fora to keep NIHR researchers abreast of the latest initiatives and policies.

Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Experience and Technical Skills:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A PhD degree (or equivalent) in biomedical or health sciences research (or significant equivalent sector experience)
- Significant relevant experience of managing research funding in a clinical, academic, industrial, funding agency or charity setting
- Experience of line management, staff development and planning and monitoring of workloads
- Excellent project planning and management skills; able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, working to challenging targets and deadlines
- The ability to demonstrate an understanding in the strategic issues in health and care research funding and policy, especially within experimental medicine
- Strategic thinker able to interpret complex information while having a clear view of the “big picture”
- The ability to employ creative approaches to effectively communicate complex information to individuals and groups from a range of different backgrounds and different seniority levels
- Committed team player with an ability to build effective working relationships

About the role:
We are looking for a Clinical Transformation Lead to drive and deliver strategic and operational transformation initiatives across Princess Alice Hospice, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and service innovation. The role will also help us delivery on our ambition strategy to support more people who need our services and expertise.
You will lead on the design, implementation, and evaluation of clinical transformation projects, including our clinical strategy, working collaboratively and alongside multidisciplinary teams to embed sustainable change and continuous improvement, whilst ensuring the strategy aligns with our vision and objectives.
Engaging colleagues, volunteers, patients and families throughout the change journey, you will work with internal and external colleagues to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in clinical services, ensuring best practice and evidence-based care.
About you:
You will be motivated, have excellent communication skills and strong leadership capabilities.
You will have a degree or diploma in health, management or a related field, and a high level of experience in leading and delivering successful transformation or improvement projects.
You will have experience of working with complex data and will be able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills ensuring robust analysis and clear presentation of data to a wide range of audiences. You will have experience of managing projects and / or programmes in complex organisations and a track record of delivery. You will be comfortable with preparing reports in different formats, and be confident in reporting to executives and Trustees on delivery and impact.
The role works alongside clinical teams to lead, develop and embed changes. You may or may not be a clinician, but it is critical that you understand how clinicians work.

You will work across both our SafeCall and Hertfordshire Missing Children’s Services, providing emotional and practical support to young people using virtual methods of communication. You will support young people who have been or who are at risk of missing and being exploited. You will provide a safe and confidential space for them to talk through their experiences and to disclose any harm and ongoing adverse experiences they have suffered. You will be a strong advocate for young people and families, working with them and other agencies to ensure they get the help they need to stay safe, and to reduce the risks of harm they face.
The Hertfordshire Missing Children’s Team operates on weekdays throughout Hertfordshire and is responsible for providing safeguarding, practical and emotional support, casework, advocacy and safety planning.
The dedicated SafeCall casework team is responsible for providing safeguarding, practical and emotional support, casework, advocacy, practical advice and emotional support nationally. The SafeCall team work collaboratively with the Helplines team who provide anonymous expert crisis support, safeguarding, safety planning, signposting and referrals out of hours capacity. These two teams ensure the full wraparound SafeCall service.
Key Accountabilities
• Deliver supportive interventions to families, parents, carers, children, and young people who have been missing or experiencing involvement with gangs & county lines
• To deliver national anonymous support via phone, email, SMS, and live chat, working collaboratively with the helpline team to offer a wraparound SafeCall service.
• Deliver Return Home Discussions / 121 Session support for the returned missing / vulnerable young people / children within expeditious timescales
• Speak up for children, young people, parents and carers who are at risk

The Taskforce for Lung Health (the secretariat for which is provided by Asthma + Lung UK) is a collaboration of the largest ever group of organisations and individuals who have come together, as a team, to improve lung health. Our primary goal is to elevate the importance of lung health within the NHS. The Taskforce has over 50 members including patients, carers, healthcare professionals, the voluntary sector and professional associations. An Industries Forum working alongside the Taskforce includes representatives from the pharmaceutical, diagnostics, devices and digital industries.

This role will support the Taskforce to deliver its ambitious programme of activity for 2026, working collaboratively with members and partners to deliver meaningful change for people with respiratory conditions. You will lead and drive forward Taskforce policy and influencing work across priority areas, producing high-quality evidence-based outputs, working in collaboration with Taskforce members and partners, including patients, clinicians, other charities and corporate partners. Reporting to the Health Policy Manager, you will carry out proactive policy and influencing work across a range of health policy areas related to NHS services, treatment and care for lung conditions. You will work with a range of important external stakeholders, building strong relationships and influencing positive change. This role is Office based only.
