In this role: 

• Ensure timely collection of payments and manage the debt collection process

• Build respectful, positive relationships with clients, responding to invoice and payment queries

• Monitor and report on outstanding debt, making recommendations where appropriate

• Raise invoices and request credit notes

• Work closely with the outsourced accounting team to resolve income allocation queries

• Support improvements in financial systems and contribute to wider Finance team projects

About The Role

We’re on the lookout for a Senior Internal Communications & Engagement Officer who can hit the ground running in our fast-paced team for a 12 month fixed term contract. This role is all about supporting and coordinating the delivery of engaging and timely communications for both our colleagues and members. You’ll be responsible for managing a variety of content across multiple channels, from the staff intranet to email publications. This is an opportunity to truly make an impact by ensuring our internal messages are clear, on-brand, and reach the right audience.

Plus, you’ll help manage our internal communications inboxes, responding to queries and requests from across the organisation with a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude. If you enjoy a bit of variety, this role will certainly keep you busy with different ad hoc projects and support for internal events as well.

Our ideal candidate is someone with a background in internal communications, ideally with experience in intranet or web publishing systems. If you’ve worked in the charity sector, that’s a bonus. You’ll need to have excellent written communication skills, be a whizz at managing your time, and bring a flexible approach to the role. Above all, we need someone who’s enthusiastic about creating great content and keeping everyone informed in a way that feels fresh and engaging. Role Purpose

This role is focused on maximising comms-based engagement across the GDI Hub’s portfolio, supporting GDI Hub’s growing outreach and impact.

The post holder will work closely across GDI Hub comms team to support communications delivery across the organisational portfolio – with a focus on key regular outputs, creative content, websites, reactive queries and organisational communications. This role will involve both administrative tasks, and creative content generation, at an anticipated volume of 50% per area.

The post holder will also provide key communications and engagement support for the Disabled Leaders Network. Run by the GDI Hub, the Disabled Leaders Network is a member led, dynamic group of emerging global talent. Communications support includes digital events, managing social media and the network channels, and regular newsletters.

Across all elements of the role, the successful candidate will need to work collaboratively and dynamically. Responsibilities will include creative content generation, design, copy writing, film/photography, newsletters - alongside more administration and operational activities such as enquiry response, proof reading, and website updates.  This role will work closely alongside members of the GDI Hub team, with some interactions with external partners, collaborators and stakeholders. This role will also support with event delivery – digital and in person.

We are looking for a candidate with strong administrative, communications and digital skills, including experience with social media and design. The candidate will need to deliver public facing communication outputs, while also building personable relationships. Schools’ Project Officer (4-5 days per week; 10 months contract with opportunity for renewal)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join this fast-growing charity at a pivotal time, and make significant impact as our grass-roots Schools’ Project Officer. You will be visiting schools, explaining about what we do at assemblies and going for follow up sessions, and then giving email feedback to applications.

Who we are
We are a small lively charity promoting the personal development of year 12s in partner schools, through challenging activities that they design, plan and finally undertake adult-free. We invite students (individually or in groups) to develop their own challenges well outside their ‘comfort zones’, and to be responsible for every stage of the process. We help them plan and manage risk, and give them expenses funding. Our award winners have climbed the highest UK peaks, cycled to Paris, performed plays at school, harnessed green power via a bike, among many other imaginative and ambitious projects.   

Who we are looking for
We are looking for an energetic, talented and reliable candidate for our schools’ outreach team, inspiring high-quality applications for funding from Year 12s in our 85 partner London state schools (20% of the total).  There is scope to help shape our strategy. We are looking for competent project officer, ideally with experience of physical challenge, strong administrative skills and with strong writing skills: they will be comfortable working with students, and value personal challenge and development. He/she will be keen to work with a growing charity, and to support young people usually with a poverty of experience and opportunity.

The Digital Campaigns Officer is part of the Campaign Activism team, which works to make sure that our campaigns work effectively with our activist network, our international network, and makes best use of our supporter base for campaigning. We’re looking for someone who has some understanding of online campaigning, can pick up digital tools quickly, and who is comfortable writing high-quality copy sometimes to tight deadlines. Educational inequalities are vast, and the widening disadvantage gap is diminishing social mobility progress. We work with amazing partners across the rail industry, financial services, professional services, technology companies and healthcare to deliver free, industry-focused, skills workshops to enhance opportunities for young people (aged 9-18+).

The role

Due to the continued expansion and sustainability of our programmes, we are seeking a new team member to support our next period of growth in the new 2025-2026 academic year.

You will be a consumate account manager to support our skills and employability programmes designed in partnership with industry. You will work collaboratively with our corporate and industry partners to support teachers and students in schools and further education institutions access a range of TTF educational programmes.

*Hybrid working

This is a hybrid role. You will be working from home and will join our Team Together Days in a co-working space in London a min of 1 a month, up to a max of 3 per month. These days are considered commuting days. As Senior Content Officer, you’ll craft clear, useful and engaging content that helps people make informed decisions about their treatment, feel more connected, and understand the impact of the research we fund.

You’ll also help bring the voices of the T1D community to the forefront by sharing stories, insights, and experiences across our digital channels. From day-to-day content planning to writing, editing, and publishing across web, email, social, and media, you’ll be central to how Breakthrough T1D informs, inspires, and grows its reach in the UK. 

Experience required 

• ​Excellent writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to tailor tone for different audiences. 

• Solid understanding of digital platforms, especially websites and social media. 

• Confident using a range of tools to create and publish multimedia content such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or content scheduling platforms 

• The ability to gather and tell personal stories in a sensitive, creative and engaging way. 

• Experience of working collaboratively with colleagues, partners, or lived-experience voices. 

• Confidence and flexibility in managing multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

About the role

You will be at the forefront of establishing a centrally-located PMO to embed project excellence in a mission-driven environment, operating both strategically and hands on across the King’s Fund. Your responsibilities will include developing and embedding project management standards and governance frameworks, establishing a performance framework to understand the impact of our projects, and providing oversight and assurance for key projects and programmes.

You will engage with senior leaders and staff leading and coordinators to embed a culture of effective project delivery, lead change management and continuous improvement efforts, and act as a trusted advisor on project and programme management. Additionally, you may matrix-manage project staff or line manage a small team as the PMO grows, ensuring effective use of project management tools and systems through a cross-organisation community of practice.

As an established PMO Manager, you will bring your experience in setting up PMOs and use your knowledge of a diverse range of project and programme management methodologies. You will be enthusiastic about making a difference, and are able to bring people with you in change. You will be an excellent communicator, with experience of facilitation, and influencing skills, and proven experience in managing change are essential.

the employability prospects of people living in the local community. 

You will provide the administrative backbone of the team, ensuring that everything is well 
organised and coordinated to provide the best possible experience for everyone who engages with us. Day to day you will manage systems which support how we work and relationships with people, establishing links with volunteers, hospital staff and contacts from within our local communities.
