About the role

The Senior Programme Advisor (SPA) in the Asia team will focussing on the delivery of a large 3-year corporate partnership started in June 2024 working on freshwater issues in Asia (with focus in India, China, Pakistan) and looking at palm oil production in Indonesia. The programme also has strong advocacy and learning components, and it is testing new innovative approaches such as insetting.

The SPA will coordinate and, when possible, lead on all programmatic input - including technical, financial, M&E - as well as overseeing the coordination and facilitation of other partnership delivery needs including advocacy and communications, science, learning and knowledge sharing.  Working as part of an Asia Regional Unit, in direct collaboration with the Senior Relationship Manager in the Corporate Partnerships team, the SPA role is responsible for:

· Overall coordination of the partnership components (on the ground conservation in 5 geographies, advocacy and communications, research, learning and knowledge exchange), ensuring coherence and collective contribution to the overarching Theory of Change.

· Providing strategic programmatic leadership, oversight, support and advice on the conservation work, with a stronger focus on the work in India and Indonesia

· Identifying additional areas for programmatic development based on an understanding on the corporate partnerships ambition

· Liaising directly with Senior Relationship Manager in Corporate Partnerships team to represent the programmatic needs in the partnership and ensure consistent alignment between Conservation Programmes and Corporate Partnerships for effective partnership delivery.

· Convening and facilitating stakeholder engagement for effective partnership delivery, specifically on the programmatic side, including network partner officesin Asia, colleagues across WWF-UK, the wider WWF Network and where appropriate external organisations

· Coordinating with the wider WWF Network to ensure support to delivery of relevant network ambitions, in combination with WWF-UK’s ambitions and ensuring mutual benefits through the partnership.

· Overarching programme management of the international grants within the partnership portfolio.

On the ground conservation programmes are implemented by teams within network partner offices, the emphasis of this UK-based role will be on ensuring that all programmes are well designed, quality assured, contribute to the overarching partnership theory of change, and risks are managed appropriately, as well as providing strategic advice directly and by convening others to address identified resource and capacity gaps and playing the role of critical friend that can bring insights from across the partnership portfolio to strengthen delivery in each geographic region and the partnership coherence as a whole.

About the opportunity
Working closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager and wider Philanthropy Department, the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator will identify and cultivate fruitful partnerships with a range of small, medium and large businesses.

Rosebery Avenue is a 24/7 Skills and Employment service with 22 self-contained flats. The focus is on helping residents move into training, education, or work. You’ll join a small, dedicated team in a psychologically informed environment, working closely with partners like St Mungo’s Recovery College to deliver tailored support. 

Islington Mental Health Service, Islington – 1 x Support Worker 

This service supports 50 adults with severe and enduring mental health needs across two hostels and two semi-independent projects. You’ll provide person-centred, trauma-informed support to help residents build confidence, develop life skills, and work toward independent living.

Westway Trust is looking for a dedicated and reliable experienced Cleaning Operative to provide supervised access to the new public toilets located on Acklam Road, next to Portobello Market. The primary responsibility of the Cleaning Operative will be to ensure the facility and its surroundings are maintained to a high standard, checked regularly and kept clean, secure and inviting to users at all times. Our arts projects include theatre and craft therapy, filmmaking and feminist embroidery. We also facilitate access to training, education and income generation opportunities, and run workshops on parenting support and on women’s rights in a context of rights for all.

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Finance and Administration Manager to lead on developing and maintaining our financial and organisational systems, enabling Makani to increase our impact on the lives of refugee women.

KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Finance

• Work with the Executive team to set and monitor annual budgets

• Record all financial transactions using accounting software (Xero)

• Record and track multiple restricted and unrestricted grants from a range of donors

• Prepare and present quarterly management accounts for the Board

• Prepare end-of-year accounts 

• Oversee payroll and ensure timely invoice payments

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

You will have:

• Proven experience in charity financial management, including restricted/unrestricted funding

• Familiarity with or willingness to learn Xero accounting software

• Familiarity with UK charity accounting and reporting standards

• Strong organisational and administrative skills

• Ability to work independently and remotely and to communicate well in a small team

• Understanding of good HR policies and practice for small charities 

• Understanding of or willingness to learn about other key areas of compliance such as data protection 

• Commitment to Makani’s mission and our feminist and anti-racist values

And it's desirable but not essential that you have:

• Experience of preparing funding bids and financial reporting to funders 

• Experience of working in a charity with some overseas operations

At Thrive, our Practitioners work with plants and people to improve an individual’s physical and psychological health, social interaction, skills and confidence.

We’re looking for a Specialist STH Practitioner to provide high quality and effective Social and Therapeutic Horticulture programmes for adults in our gardens in Battersea Park and outreach settings.

Working alongside volunteers, this role will support people with learning disabilities, autism, long term health conditions or disabilities. Delivering horticulture qualifications for client gardeners, such as tutor and assessor for the City & Guild Level 1 Practical Horticulture Skills.

Based at Thrive’s London Centre in Battersea Park. The role will involve some work undertaken off-site in London and occasional travel to the Thrive Centres in Reading and Birmingham.

Z2K is a small but fearless anti-poverty charity. We combine frontline advice with bold influencing to tackle the systems that drive poverty - and we’re recruiting our first Major Donor & Corporate Lead.

You’ll lead on building and delivering our strategy for major donors and corporates, cultivating long-term partnerships rooted in shared values. Working closely with our Chief Executive, senior leadership team and trustees on major donor and corporate fundraising, and with our Communications Lead on fundraising communications and campaigns, you’ll shape compelling approaches to inspire support. You’ll also line manage our Fundraising Officer (grant funding & events), helping diversify Z2K’s income to change lives and challenge injustice. This is a hands-on role with plenty of scope to shape your approach. You’ll lead on identifying new prospects, crafting compelling proposals, and making the case for support to a wide range of external audiences. 

You’re a strategic relationship-builder who thrives on finding and forging connections that deliver lasting impact. You bring a track record of securing income from major donors and corporates, whether in the charity sector as through a business development function in the private sector.
