The Repairs Manager will work as part of the Property Services team. Assuming day-to-day responsibility for the oversight and coordination of all repair and maintenance activities across all tenures (Supported, Unsupported, Intermediate and Market Rent).

Night Reconnection Assistant

Are you interested in supporting people at immediate risk of rough sleeping and making a real difference to the lives of people who are homeless?   

The St Mungo’s Pan London Rough Sleeping Teams (No Second Night Out and Somewhere Safe to Stay) provide a rapid response service, intervening to ensure no one needs to sleep rough. We are currently looking for people to join our teams as Night Reconnection Assistants (and Night Assessment Workers).

• Work as part of a busy team environment working closely with those affected by rough sleeping. 

• Provide a safe and supportive environment at night to clients; and support a team of Assessment and Reconnection Workers, with key tasks, such as implementing reconnection or assessment plans and supporting clients in to appropriate accommodation.  

• Work on a 7 day weekly night rota pattern with an average of 3 waking night shifts in a row (for example 8pm–8.30am or 9pm–8am with a 1.5 hour break)

The post holder will be responsible for the following:

About the Service

Housing First supports the most entrenched, excluded and hard to reach service users. It focuses on finding permanent housing as quickly as possible and then addressing the issues that have contributed to an individual’s homelessness. The Ruby Project, is a specialist Housing First programme supporting women who have experienced VAWG and other difficulties such as, substance misuse, experience of the criminal jusice system, having children removed from their care, mental and physical health issues etc.

‘I want someone who I can do nice things with, too, not someone who just talks about what has gone wrong, or drugs and other things……I think about those negatives all the time anyway and I want a worker who I can feel positive with, happy’ (service user supported by another Housing First Project).

About the Role

Accountabilities

• Provide a high-quality case work support and information service to victims/survivors who have experienced domestic and/or sexual violence.
• Advocate on behalf of clients with external agencies where appropriate, including at the MARAC
• Provide Solution-focused casework interventions with women who have experienced VAWG and Multiple Disadvantage
• Provide emotional support using a trauma informed approach.
• Build and maintain supportive relationships with women.
• Contribute to the completion of outcomes reports and funding returns when required.
• Complete all documents when support work commences and keep up to date with any changing risks to or from the woman.

Rough sleeping data shows that migrants make up more than 50% of the people rough sleeping in London. The MAPS service provides a rapid intervention to support clients who are migrants and rough sleeping in London to find a route into accommodation that is suitable and sustainable in the UK or elsewhere in the world. We are looking for someone to join our team as an Assessment and Reconnection Worker where you will:

• Provide rapid holistic assessments with migrants who are rough sleeping across London, helping to clarify entitlements and identify routes off the streets.
• Work with clients to produce person-centred, rights-based actions plans that meet their needs and resolve their rough sleeping in the UK or elsewhere in the world.
• Work closely with external agencies to ensure all clients’ needs are met. Many of our clients have multiple support needs. This may include experience of navigating the immigration and asylum systems, complex trauma, substance misuse and mental and physical health support needs. 
• Advise and support other professionals working with migrants on options to resolve their clients’ homelessness.
• While your usual working hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, occasional work during early or late hours may occur in response to challenging situations and to prevent rough sleeping. 

About you

We are a small team so try to maximise our resources and find creative solutions to resolve people’s homelessness. Due to the legislative and political climate in which we work, accommodation options are often limited for our client group, and so we are looking for someone who can be flexible, proactive and is passionate about working migrants.

Ideally you would have experience of working with vulnerable people and an understanding of the needs and support requirements of this client group, particularly non-UK nationals.

We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you have lived experience of migration and/or speak additional languages to English.

This varied role involves management of L&W’s digital communications, press and media work, stakeholder relations and events throughout the year. Clinical research is an essential element in ensuring new treatments are rapidly and safely translated to clinical use to transform the lives of people with cystic fibrosis. Nine years ago, the Trust set up an ambitious programme of work to broaden the reach of trials to all people with cystic fibrosis in the UK, the Clinical Trials Accelerator Platform (CTAP). CTAP is a national cystic fibrosis clinical trials network which has created the infrastructure (network of CTAP centres) and funded additional research capacity (trial coordinators) to support NHS Cystic Fibrosis centres to grow their clinical trial portfolio. This in turn has increased the number of clinical trial opportunities for the UK CF community, and improved access to the newest therapies for people living with cystic fibrosis. 
 
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Network Coordinator to join the CTAP coordinating team as maternity cover. The postholder will oversee the coordination of the four CTAP regional clinical trial networks which sit within the main CTAP programme. This role will play an important role in overseeing the smooth running of the CTAP regional networks in addition to providing support and guidance relating to the referral of patients for clinical trial participation. 
 
To be the right candidate, you will:

• Have experience of working within the area of clinical trials in some capacity for the NHS, a university, research funder or a commercial sponsor 
• Have an in-depth understanding of the clinical research landscape, particularly in the context of a national/disease-specific clinical trials network
• Understand the relevant regulations surrounding clinical trials in the UK
• Have strong project management and communication skills

Oaklands & St Kilda's is made up of two newly refurbished six-bedroom homes, located close to each other in Ealing, West London. Many of the young people joining us are moving on from hospital, stepping down from more intensive placements, or transitioning from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services to Adult services.
