Our client, a Not-for-profit body, are looking to recruit a Head of IT to manage, deliver and develop their operations, ensuring infrastructure, systems, services, and electronic data effectively support the organisation’s activities.

Duties:

· To develop and deliver the IT strategy in support of their strategy.

· Keep abreast of developments and new applications and assess the need, use and applicability to the organisation. Advise and make recommendations to the Director of Finance and Resources on enhancements to improve the organisation’s IT services.

· To serve as the lead for GDPR compliance activities within the organisation

· Be the senior point of contact for support for the organisation’s various applications including ALMA (Library Management System), Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM), Microsoft Business Central (accounting software), Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Teams.

Essential Skills:

· Experience of maintaining a variety of IT systems, including Windows based networking both on premise and cloud based

· Experience of evaluating and commissioning computer hardware

· Proven ability to problem-solve IT problems

· Proven ability to learn new systems quickly

· Proven ability to prepare and monitor budgets covering IT

· hardware, software, networking, and associated requirements

About you

About the role

As Senior Data Executive, you will work closely with the rest of the Data Team to ensure the Fundraising and Communications Department has access to high-quality data, delivered in a timely manner to support effective marketing campaigns. This includes working within Raiser’s Edge NXT to deliver data selections and imports, maintaining data quality and ensuring the CRM is accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose. You will also manage relationships with key suppliers and drive continuous improvement of data processes.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced trust fundraiser to join our small, busy fundraising team. You will:

Each Support Worker holds a caseload of residents and meets with them weekly to build a support plan and help them achieve their goals.

We are looking for a Supported Housing Support Worker to join our Guildford Foyer team. Main areas of responsibilities are:

Housing:

• Coach young people to manage their occupancy agreement and adhere to house rules, in preparation for independent living
• Promote a credit culture, encouraging young people to keep up to date with all payments for rent
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of housing and welfare benefits for young people and be well-informed on significant changes to housing law
• Deal effectively with non-compliance issues, such as non-payment of rent or damage to room, using restorative practices and working collaboratively with the rest of the team

Coaching and Engagement:

For a leading global NGO, we're recruiting an Interim Finance Manager for 9 months. Supporting the Senior Finance Manager and Director of Finance and IT, the Interim Finance Manager will oversee the month-end processes, balance sheet and income reconciliations, VAT returns, and budgeting and reforecasting process. Supporting the UK Finance teams, this role will consolidate management accounts and budgets at group level and provide support and analysis to help decision-making.

What you'll be doing:

• Preparation and posting of monthly journals and assisting the Senior Finance Manager in preparing management accounts, and investigating variances
• Overseeing the monthly management accounting for central support functions, acting as their business partner
• Monthly income processing and reconciliations
• Maintaining records on restricted funding
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly bank reconciliations and maintain fixed asset register
• Processing BACS payments to suppliers and compile VAT returns for sign-off

About the role

This is a hands-on role for an experienced organiser who will lead key aspects of our community organising practice. You'll design and deliver training workshops, coach emerging organisers, and build meaningful relationships with both partner organisations and individual members to expand our movement.

Working with campaign teams across the UK, you'll ensure organising principles are woven throughout our programmes whilst supporting communities to build power, win campaigns, and develop new leaders. You'll create resources and content to scale our impact, evaluate our training effectiveness, and strengthen Act Build Change's contribution to the organising field.

This role requires regular travel and a passion for grassroots work, offering the opportunity to shape how we build collective power for change.

Act Build Change is a transformative organising school that makes community organising and collective care methods accessible to everyone who wants to end injustice.

Since 2019, we've supported over 150 collectives and organisations across the UK and Ireland, working with those with disabilities, migrants and refugees, young people, carers, working class communities, LGBTQ+ collectives, those living in poverty and the intersections across those identities.

Our work includes delivering training and resources, supporting communities to navigate difference and change, and providing coaching for organisers and movement leaders.

Key responsibilities

Training and development

• Develop Act Build Change's transformative organising pedagogy and lead internal staff training to ensure team-wide fluency in our curriculum and approach.

• Design and deliver engaging organising training both online and in-person, adapting our curriculum for diverse audiences and needs.

• Provide on-the-ground shadowing and coaching to develop the skills of organisers and movement leaders.

Community building and partnerships

• Build strategic relationships across the organising field with practitioners, partners, and the broader social justice ecosystem.

• Lead key cohort projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and effective ground-level action.

• Lead event planning and facilitation for community-facing programmes, workshops, and strategy gatherings whilst expanding our membership base.

Team leadership

• Line manage programme staff, supporting their wellbeing, development, and performance through regular supervision and feedback.

• Foster a workplace culture rooted in collective care, accountability, and anti-oppression practices.

• Collaborate with team members to improve internal systems, document learning, and refine training practices.

Fundraising and sustainability

• Raise at least £60,000 through partner projects, funding bids, and membership dues to ensure financial sustainability.

• Contribute to strategic planning, evaluation, and organisational learning to guide Act Build Change's future development.

• Represent Act Build Change in networks and at events within the broader social justice ecosystem.

What we offer

Salary and benefits

• £45,000-£51,500 salary, depending on experience.
