Working Pattern: Flexible – hybrid; minimum 2 days a week from one of our offices

Starting Salary: London- £29000 (Salary band:£29,000 - £32,000); Outside London- £26500 (Salary band: £26,500 - £29,500 ) 

Hours:  37.5 hours per week, with occasional evening/weekend work (TOIL provided)

Language requirements: Fluency in English essential. 

Travel: Expectations of travel between BB locations for in person meetings and events

Overall purpose:

Breaking Barriers exists to support refugees and people from forced migration backgrounds into meaningful employment.

The Client Caseworker is integral to delivering that mission. Acting as a client’s primary point of support, you will lead and coordinate their progression toward employment — whether through language development, requalification, training or direct employability support.

This role requires someone who can take ownership of client journeys, drive forward action plans, and deliver both one-to-one and group-based support that moves clients closer to work. Caseworkers  may initially focus more heavily on one pathway area, but the role is designed to provide integrated, cross-programme support over time.

Collaboration across programme teams is essential to ensure clients experience seamless, joined-up services and consistent progression.  Your contributions are valued, and you can make a meaningful impact on people’s lives.

Key responsibilities:

1. Client casework and support

• Manage a caseload of clients, providing structured one-to-one support in person and online.
• Conduct holistic assessments to understand clients’ qualifications, skills, language levels, aspirations and barriers.
• Co-create clear, outcome-focused action plans aligned to sustainable employment.
• Drive forward client progression across relevant pathways, including:
  • Employment readiness and job search
  • CV development, applications and interview preparation
  • Professional requalification and accreditation routes
  • English language progression
  • Sector-specific training or volunteering
• Deliver group sessions to help clients build knowledge and skills in a supportive peer-learning environment.
• Maintain regular contact to monitor progress, adjust support and maintain accountability.
• Identify and address barriers to progression, advocating where appropriate.
• Safeguard clients appropriately and escalate concerns in line with policy.
• Refer and signpost to additional support services where required.

2. Stakeholder and volunteer engagement

• Engage with stakeholders and partners to develop networks and identify job, training, education and work experience opportunities for clients.
• Support outreach initiatives by developing and maintaining relationships with partners (e.g. referral partners, training providers, employers and professional bodies)
• Advocate on behalf of clients to address specific barriers to employment or accreditation.
• Collaborate with colleagues responsible for employer and partner engagement to match clients to appropriate opportunities.
• Liaise with volunteers to source additional expertise and mentoring opportunities for clients.
• Represent Breaking Barriers at occasional events or meetings as required.

3. Monitoring, Reporting & Administration

• Maintain accurate, timely and detailed client records on the CRM system.
• Track and report on client progression against agreed milestones and KPIs.
• Ensure documentation and evidence are completed in line with reporting requirements.
• Complete enrolment and administrative processes efficiently.
• Support monitoring and evaluation processes to inform service improvement.

4. Cross-Organisational Collaboration & Integrated Working

• Work closely with colleagues across all functions to ensure seamless client journeys, aligning support, avoiding duplication and maintaining clarity of progression plans.
• Share knowledge of sector pathways, labour market developments and client trends to inform service development and team learning.
• Contribute to service development as the service redesign evolves. 
• Participate actively in team meetings, case reviews, reflective practice sessions, appraisals and inductions, contributing to strong team relationships and continuous service improvement.
• Take advantage of training and development opportunities to build new skills and share knowledge across teams.
• Foster a collaborative, solution-focused team culture.

Experience

· Experience providing one-to-one advice, guidance or support, ideally within employability, education, refugee support or a related field

· Experience delivering or co-facilitating group sessions, workshops or training.

· Experience working toward defined targets, outcomes or deadlines in a structured environment.

· Understanding of barriers faced by refugees and people from forced migration backgrounds in accessing employment.

· Experience maintaining accurate records, whether using a database, CRM or equivalent system.

About the role

The development officer will support programmes and partnerships that strengthen the physiotherapy profession globally. Through assisting with programme development, fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination, the postholder will help World Physiotherapy deliver initiatives that build workforce capacity, support member organisations, and improve access to high-quality rehabilitation services worldwide.

Purpose of the Role

The Director of External Affairs and Growth is an SLT role responsible for leveraging the voice and power of the eoa's network to influence and accelerate the growth of the employee owned sector.

The role leads the eoa’s external affairs, policy and insights, marcomms and events, shaping the external environment for employee ownership and securing the funding and commercial income needed to support sustainable sector growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead external affairs strategy, building the relationships and influence needed to shape policy, remove barriers and expand EO.
• Build strategic relationships and secure grant funding and commercial partnerships, generating income to support advocacy, events and sector growth initiatives, including the UK EO Growth Strategy.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Manager to grow support for our work in the UK and internationally. 

You will lead the implementation of our 2026–2028 fundraising strategy, develop compelling supporter journeys and creating inspiring propositions that connect donors with the difference their generosity makes. Working closely with the CEO, Senior Management Team and Fundraising Committee, you will bring focus, energy and professional fundraising expertise to a charity with a loyal supporter base and significant potential for growth.

What You will do:

• Lead the delivery of HOPE worldwide UK’s fundraising strategy, with clear plans, priorities, KPIs and income targets.
• Develop a compelling case for support that inspires existing donors, re-engages lapsed supporters and reaches new and younger audiences.
• Design and deliver segmented supporter journeys across individual giving, regular giving, appeals and stewardship activity.

Thames Rivers Trust (TRT) is part of The Rivers Trust movement. We focus on the promotion and delivery of an ecosystem-based approach to improving the River Thames, working with partners including Thames Water, The Rivers Trust, the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) and a network of Catchment Partnerships across the Thames Basin, to deliver an integrated approach to managing the river basin for people, biodiversity and the environment.

We are recruiting a Programme Manager to lead day-to-day delivery of the Water Company Partnership: a developing arrangement between TRT, The Rivers Trust, Thames Water and ZSL that works alongside and helps coordinate support for the 27 Catchment Partnerships of the Thames Basin. You will oversee delivery across all five of the Partnership's workstreams and be accountable to the Partnership Board for progress, combining day-to-day programme management with support to the Board's strategic oversight.

In practical terms, this role exists to help integrate Catchment Partnership hosts and partnership members with Thames Water's delivery programme, and to upskill those partnerships so they are equipped to plan, fund and deliver more on the ground themselves, building the same kind of productive relationships with other funders and partners too, not just Thames Water. It is a genuine opportunity to shape how a major water company and its environmental partners work together, and to help turn that partnership into real, measurable improvements for rivers and the wider environment across the Thames Basin.

Your responsibilities will span five workstreams:

● Governance: catchment partnership maturity and tiering, network structure and governance models

● Monitoring and Evaluation: river health scorecards, monitoring standards and evidence for investment decisions and Thames Water's PR29 submission

● Capability and Capacity, including CaPS: TRT's own Catchment Partnerships Support Programme, learning and development, and running the Thames Catchment Forum

● Catchment and Nature-based Solutions: supporting delivery of wetland, river restoration and storm overflow projects

● Blended Finance: developing environmental market mechanisms and diversified funding for Catchment Partnerships

You will also service the Partnership Board, coordinate quarterly reviews with individual catchment hosts, and act as TRT's key liaison with Thames Water, The Rivers Trust, ZSL and Catchment Partnerships across the region.

We're looking for someone with experience delivering environmental, catchment or nature-recovery programmes, strong partnership working and facilitation skills, and the ability to coordinate complex, multi-organisation programmes through influence rather than line management. Knowledge of the water sector, WINEP or AMP planning, nature-based solutions or blended finance would be an advantage, as would a project or programme management qualification.

Frazzled is a mental health and wellbeing charity founded by Ruby Wax OBE. We provide free, facilitated peer support meetings for people feeling overwhelmed by the stresses of modern life.

Our online and face-to-face meetings offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where people can share openly, listen to others and feel heard. Everything we do is underpinned by high-quality volunteer facilitation, thoughtful training and a supportive community.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an organised, compassionate and proactive Programme Coordinator to help deliver and develop our programme of peer support meetings, while ensuring our volunteers feel confident, supported and connected.

Purpose of the role

The Programme Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of Frazzled's online and face-to-face peer support programme.

Working closely with the Head of Programmes, you'll oversee Frazzled’s meeting schedules, recruit and support volunteer facilitators, coordinate training and onboarding, carry out regular observations and contribute to the continuous improvement of our programme. You'll play a key role in ensuring our services are delivered safely, consistently and in line with the Frazzled model.

This is a varied hands-on role that combines excellent organisation with relationship building, volunteer development and continuous improvement. You'll be equally comfortable organising complex schedules, supporting volunteers through challenging situations and contributing ideas that help our programmes continue to grow while staying true to what makes Frazzled unique.

Frazzled runs meetings from early morning until late evening, seven days a week. As a core part of this role involves observing and supporting facilitators as issues arise, some evening and weekend work will therefore be required as well as regular travel to our face-to-face sites across England.
