• Creation and delivery of local/county/regionally specific crime-based campaigns in partnership with law enforcement agencies, local committees and volunteers.
• Coordination of cross border and national activity in support of ROCU’S, the NCA and other bodies such as the GLAA.
• Identifying and maximising funding opportunities for our charity including RM post, campaign activity, Fearless workers and for Business Development.
• Enabling volunteer committees to develop so they can operate effectively and achieve their full potential.
• Act as Crimestoppers spokesperson for the region covered, regarding media interviews.

Support Line Officer

The Support Line Officer will support the delivery of the organisation’s Support Line service, responding to enquiries from service users, organisations and health care professionals across a range of topics related to spinal cord injury, and contributing to the provision of written information, including factsheets and articles for SIA’s bi-monthly magazine and website.  They will signpost to, and work closely with, other relevant services within the organisation and external partners.

Some key duties will include:

• Responding to all enquiries to the Support Line service in a prompt and efficient manner, and within the remit of its policies, procedures and practices.
• Providing information, support and advice to all service users using a range of recourses to find, interpret and communication the relevant information, liaising with appropriate outside agencies as and when necessary, in order to further research enquiries.
• Researching and exploring options and implications so that service users can make informed decisions.
• Supporting the Frank Williams Academy with the updating and development of new factsheets.
• Supporting the work of the Advocacy service, providing first line support for NHS CHC cases and referring to the service for more in-depth support.
• Supporting the work of the Support Network team, arranging appointments and referring callers when appropriate.

Role context:

Cord’s turnover is about £2m a year. About 85% of Cord’s funding is restricted, coming from institutional donors like the EU and the US government, and 15% (about £300K) is unrestricted coming from a committed UK supporter base and other private fundraising streams. 

In 2025, Cord operates in eight countries and has offices in Burundi, Myanmar, Laos, & Cambodia. Cord has a global team of thirty people with finance staff across five country teams. 

The Finance Manager role is a newly created role which is being introduced to strengthen the organisation’s financial management and control systems. The postholder will work across the breadth of the finance function preparing internal management accounts and external annual accounts.

In 2024, Cord changed its finance system to use Business Central. The Finance Manager will become the organisation’s main ‘admin’ user of the finance system. In the near-term, there will be a particular focus on rolling out further functionality of the system and developing financial policies and procedures. 

The Finance Manager will have oversight of the UK finance function through the line management of the UK Finance Officer and will directly deliver on the international side of operations in the areas of donor compliance, programme financial management, partner financial monitoring, and reporting. The role will involve travel to international programme locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• To support the Head of Operations to provide finance team leadership, develop and deliver an annual finance workplan to ensure continual improvement, and to drive finance capacity across the organisation
• To ensure the effective financial management of the organisation create and maintain effective financial control
• To be the Business Central Finance System Lead, developing functionality, troubleshooting and capacitating system users
• To ensure financial compliance: prepare statutory accounts, partner compliance, donor compliance and financial reporting

Responsibilities

In this role you will have 6 key responsibilities:

Financial: Managing a portfolio of high-value relationships and to deliver income at the agreed annual target in the first year with an expectation this will rise year on year.

Management:  You will be one of the first points of contact internally for trusts/foundations and individual major donors (IMD) related queries and will work in accordance with the major giving team strategic plan and existing procedures, practices and standards.

Relationship:You will seek to actively develop and manage excellent relationships with an agreed portfolio of trusts/foundations and IMD capable of donating a minimum of £25,000 or more as a single gift each year. In addition you will need to:

• Develop and implement professionally written action plans which will engage, inform and nurture prospects and donors to deliver gifts at the agreed level.
• Undertake timely administration to capture and record knowledge of supporters within the customer relationship management database. Work with the organisation’s systems team to utilise this information to enhance applications and giving levels
• Pro-actively develop relationships with key stakeholders within the MAF organisation(s)
• Present MAF proposals alone or with others, (member of the operational field team, CEO etc), to prospects and donors.
• Participate in events to develop relationships with donors, inviting individuals from portfolios where appropriate and co-ordinate visits to MAF overseas operations where appropriate to introduce these donors directly to the work of MAF.  

Information: Information management and analytical thinking is essential as you will present detailed, accurate and high-quality fundraising proposals to prospects and donors, ensuring any specific deadlines or funding windows are complied with.   In addition you will need to:

• Ensure that donors are thanked appropriately for their gifts with timely and appropriate reports, letters and phone call.
• Provide timely ‘report backs’ that are appropriate/agreed with each donor, to evidence effective use of funding and to encourage the opportunity to make further applications based on good stewardship and achievement of agreed outcomes.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge, and the funding priority, of projects available for funding by trusts/foundations supporters and prospects.
• Actively seeking to grow the trusts/foundations portfolio and income through the use of research
• Attending regular appropriate training courses, external forums and networks to ensure continuous personal development 

Major Donor team (practice/ procedures/training):As a key member of the team you will need to ensure procedures and standards are developed/maintained to ensure we are effective and compliant with any legislation/regulation.

CRM Database: To provide support to the Partnership Executive, who will be the team’s CRM database lead and maintain a thorough working understanding of MAF UK’s CRM system in order to answer specific team queries.  You will need to support the teams day-to-day CRM activities including producing reports, importing data, adding activities, amending details and any other relevant tasks

About the Legacy Manager role:

The charity offers a flexible working environment, with hybrid working 2-3 days per week from their offices. Northamptonshire Health Charity has 2 offices, one in Northampton adjacent to Northampton General Hospital, and one in Kettering on the Kettering General Hospital site.

As Senior Legacy & In-Memory Officer, you will help to shape a brand-new area of strategic growth for Northamptonshire Health Charity. This is a unique opportunity to support in building our legacy giving and in-memory fundraising programmes from the ground up. You’ll work alongside the Head of Fundraising to create meaningful pathways for supporters to leave a lasting impact, whether through gifts in Wills or by celebrating and honouring their loved ones.

You’ll help to implement campaigns, supporter journeys, and events like Make a Will Month, while nurturing relationships with donors, families, and NHS staff. You’ll also work on growing the use and income of our online tribute platform, MuchLoved.

Key Responsibilities:

· Contribute to the design and delivery of a compelling legacy fundraising programme, building a strong and sustainable legacy pipeline.

· Help to develop in-memory fundraising strategy and supporter journeys, with the aim of increasing income through tribute funds.

· Day-to-day management and promotion of their MuchLoved tribute platform, ensuring families receive exceptional support and the tool is well utilised.

· Collaborate closely with the fundraising and marketing teams to integrate legacy and in-memory giving across campaigns and communications.

· Provide thoughtful, compassionate stewardship to all legacy and in-memory supporters, recognising their generosity with care and respect.

Person Specification:

· Experience in fundraising or a sector relevant to the role (e.g., financial planning, legal services, bereavement support), with an understanding of legacy and in-memory giving and the ability to build trusted, empathetic relationships.

· Awareness of legacy fundraising principles, with a willingness to develop a legacy pipeline and supporter journey strategy with support and guidance.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, sensitive, and engaging content for supporters.

· Good interpersonal skills, with the confidence and empathy to connect with donors, families, and professional contacts in a respectful and compassionate way.

· Experience supporting or delivering fundraising activity, ideally including events, tribute funds, or in-memory giving, or a demonstrable interest in developing in this area.

· Well-organised and able to manage multiple priorities, with a proactive attitude and good attention to detail.

We’re looking for someone with solid, hands-on experience in NGO safety and security—someone who knows the field, understands the challenges, and wants to make a difference. You’ll be a confident relationship-builder, comfortable navigating both the NGO and commercial worlds, and keen to turn research into real-world tools.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead technical development: Create, update, and promote GISF’s technical guides and tools—making sure they’re relevant, practical, and genuinely useful for NGOs of all sizes.
  • Provide expert input into GISF’s research projects, ensuring technical accuracy and real-world applicability.
     
• Deliver training and workshops: Design and run training sessions for a wide range of participants, from INGO Security Directors to national NGO focal points.
  • Provide ad-hoc technical advice to members and prospective members on developing internal SRM structures and systems.
     
• Strengthen coordination: Offer bespoke advisory support and mentoring to NGO platforms, including technical assistance for forum leadership and members.
   
• Be ready to deploy on short-term assignments to help improve NGO security coordination where it’s needed most.
   
• Facilitate roundtables in response to crises or periods of elevated security risk.
   
• Strengthen the working relationship between NGOs and the UN via SLT
   
• Represent GISF externally: Build and maintain strong connections with regional coordination groups, specialist working groups, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with GISF’s policy and engagement teams to translate operational  insights into advocacy positions, donor engagement, and external messaging.
     
• Stay ahead of the curve: Ensure GISF’s services stay up to date by tapping into your networks and keeping an eye on emerging challenges and innovations in SRM.
  • Identify emerging knowledge gaps, and coordinate with relevant teams or individuals to address them.
     
• Internal Support: You’ll lead on GISF’s own security management, ensuring the safety and security of GISF staff and activities, including pre-travel risk assessments and appropriate training.

How you will make a difference

As Senior Programme Officer, I will support the Head of Commercial Insight & Development to ensure Mental Health UK delivers high quality projects and programmes that:

• Deliver for all stakeholders, including funding partners and beneficiaries.

In this role, I will support the Head of Commercial Insight & Development to identify opportunities to grow and expand our existing programmes. I will work with the Communications and Marketing Team to identify opportunities throughout our programmes to demonstrate our impact as an organisation.

I will oversee the day-to-day delivery of projects within Mental Health UK’s portfolio, supporting colleagues across Mental Health UK and the four founding charities to ensure outputs are delivered on time and to budget, and outcomes are achieved as planned.
