This role presents a unique and exciting opportunity to support the Finance & HR Director in overseeing Richmond Foundation’s diverse property portfolio, which includes both commercial and residential properties.
The Property Officer will assist in the coordination and administration of property-related matters, contributing to the effective management and strategic development of the Foundation’s property.
The role will sit in a small dynamic team with the opportunity to be involved in cross charity projects.

We’re recruiting an interim Head of Retention Marketing and Customer Journeys on a 12-month fixed term contract to lead a key transformation project.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the second-largest income stream at the BHF, from our existing donor base while delivering adoption of the Adobe marketing stack.

You’ll lead the adoption of  Adobe Campaign and CDP in the Retention and Customer Journey Team, coaching the team on developing data led strategies to inspire support from our customers to power lifesaving research, taking them on a cross channel journey to drive greater engagement with our cause and working with our Digital Teams to bring these journeys to life.

Managing income across our loyal regular giving base, our new lottery player base as well as our cash donor, raffle (Give Help) and retail, volunteering, event participant bases (Achieve Goals), your objective will be to grow income from our existing customer groups using cross sell, upsell and engagement communications to improve lifetime value, taking a customer centric approach.

This role is also key to to ensuring that our customers know where they can get help from the BHF, be it access to health content, to learn CPR or contact our Heart Helpline (Get Help).

Leading a talented below-the-line marketing team across our Give Help, Get Help and Achieve Goals objectives, you’ll also work closely with colleagues in our above-the-line teams to take an integrated approach to key comms moments.

About you

You’re a strategic marketing leader with a proven track record in customer retention, journey optimisation, and multi-channel growth. You’ve led teams through transformation, embedded new platforms, and delivered measurable impact.

You bring expertise in CRM, product marketing, and customer data strategy, with a passion for customer-centric marketing that drives engagement and long-term value. Experience with Adobe is ideal, but we would also value experience in platforms like Klaviyo, Bloomreach, Intuit (Mailchimp), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or HubSpot and an understanding of the capability they have to drive personalised marketing

You’ll also bring:

• Strong working knowledge of customer data, CRM, and product marketing, with experience developing retention and journey campaigns across email, SMS, direct mail, and data-led channels.
• Proven success as a people manager, with a track record of delivering change, building high-performing teams, and driving revenue growth.
• Ability to foster collaboration across teams and stakeholders, and experience managing external agencies through complex CRM and below-the-line marketing projects.
• Commercial and financial acumen, including budget modelling and P&L management.
• Experience working with data science teams to uncover customer insights and translate them into actionable strategies—paired with excellent storytelling and briefing skills to deliver impactful, optimised campaigns.

Working arrangements 

This is 12-month fixed term contract covering family leave. Start date ideally in December 2025, although there can be some flexibility.

This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London Office. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

The Role

Work with the public fundraising team to thank mid-level donors to fundraising appeals, creating updates and reports, and providing an excellent supporter experience to maximise the opportunity for a longer-term relationship beyond specific appeals.
Support the fundraising activities of the wider philanthropy & campaigns team through identifying donors who may give major gifts or be interested in legacy giving.

The Candidate
Experience in fundraising and donor development delivering an excellent service on the phone, in person, and in written communications.
Experience of creating high quality written documents, such as tailored letters, proposals, slide decks, or other professional materials.

The Role

In this role, you will lead on the delivery of the safeguarding learning pathways across the Diocese, in line with Church of England policies and procedures. You will support clergy, lay leaders, staff, and volunteers to meet safeguarding requirements and embed best practice across the organisation.

• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
• Experience of working with multi-professional agencies and the ability to analyse complex safeguarding issues.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan, monitor, and evaluate training provision.

You will also need to be able to travel independently across the Diocese and work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends.

The University is now planning a new campaign focused on the transformation of our iconic Senate House Library. Based in Senate House, it is one of the UK’s largest libraries for arts, humanities, and social sciences—home to 2 million books, 50 special collections, and 1800 archival collections—and it serves students from across the federation Since the inception of the Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement team in 2015, we have built our engagement activities and systems and now have an established community of more than 200,000 contactable alumni, donors and prospects – the majority of whom are outside of the UK.

About the role

We now seek a Philanthropy Data Officer to play a vital role in helping deliver our transformational fundraising efforts. As a confident CRM user, you’ll be a key part of our Philanthropy Operations team, providing data support for a wide range of functions across the Office, including events, communications, fundraising, donor insights and reporting. Alongside supporting day-to-day requests, you’ll also take on project work, helping to refine and develop the systems and processes that underpin our success. This is a chance to use your technical and analytical skills in a role where your work directly empowers colleagues, enhances donor engagement and informs decisions at the heart of a university-wide campaign.

Role Summary

The Community Forest Trust (CFT) supports, enables and champions the work of England’s Community Forests, who are the leading woodland creation network in England. We provide a range of support services for the forests including finance functions, payroll and accountable body for funded projects.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Finance and Operations Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with the organisation’s financial policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in a finance role, competency with accounting software and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.

You will also provide support to the CFT Managing Director and team, including diary management, booking travel and accommodation, supporting project delivery and arranging meetings and events. You will possess strong organisational skills, with a focus on providing exceptional assistance to ensure the smooth operation of our daily activities. This role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Work

• Check, process and record payments in accordance with agreed procedures, administer invoices and expenses claims received, ensuring they are forwarded for authorisation in a timely manner, correctly coded and posted on the finance system
• Prepare purchase invoices, add to the payment spreadsheet ready for weekly payment run processing
• Run the Weekly Credit Control cycle, ensuring invoices are raised and sent on time and monitoring aged debtors, chasing late payments as required
• Reconcile the credit cards and bank account and ensure the financial system is up to date
• Support the Finance manager in month end procedures
• Draft monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and finance reports
• Support the preparation of grant claims, ensuring that adequate records are kept
• Assist with year-end audits
• Assist with payroll processing
• Respond and deal with finance queries received internally and externally

Operations Support

• Provide support to the CFT Managing Director and team, including diary management, booking travel and accommodation, taking and drafting minutes
• Provide support for planning and arranging meetings including the CFT Board, Forest Network and with key stakeholders, including agreeing dates, organising venues and catering, distribution of agendas and supporting papers
• Support the Forest Network including arranging ‘all-hands’ briefings and the annual conference
• Ensure CFT’s contacts list is kept up to date
• Provide ad-hoc admin support for CFT projects and programmes
• Manage social media accounts ensuring relevant message sharing and posting to increase engagement
• Manage and respond to general enquiries including via the website, telephone and e-mail

Person Specification

Essential:

• English and Maths GCSE A-C or equivalent
• Proven experience in bookkeeping/similar finance role, including following policies and procedures, processing invoices, supporting the preparation of financial reports, financial reconciliation
• Good working knowledge of key accountancy software such as Quick Books or SAGE
• Administration experience, including providing support for colleagues, arranging meetings/events
• High level of numeracy and financial literacy, comfortable working with budgets and spreadsheets and be able to input data accurately
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders
• High attention to detail and accuracy

CFT employs around 50 staff based in the Forests but has a small core team of 4, which works remotely and there is no office base. We meet once a quarter in-person and this post will occasionally need to attend in-person meetings and events, including the annual conference.

• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
