The Digital Marketing Officer will also be responsible for implementing SEO best practices, supporting digital campaigns through the creation of landing pages, and using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager to track and report on performance

Job Title: Deputy Service Manager

Location: Based across 4 residential services based in Croydon (11 minute walk from East Croydon station) you will need to be able to travel between sites during the night shift to provide full managerial support. Access to own transport is ideal. Please note that unfortunately this service does not have step free access

Salary: £30,200

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, supporting the night team who predominantly work Monday to Sunday 20:00 - 08:00, you will work within these hours, as well as daytime hours to attend trainings and meetings. You will also take part in our out of hours on call rota.

About the role

We're looking for a Deputy Service Manager to join our residential service based in Croydon. You will support the Service Manager to provide leadership and line management to a team of Night Recovery Workers and Night Concierge which totals around 10. You will be present to ensure a quality service is delivered 24 hours a day, working closely with the day teams to ensure quality handovers. 

You will provide general leadership to the team so they feel empowered to be productive and perform well within their roles, supporting a service which focuses on Forensic Mental Health for 27 people across 4 sites in Croydon. The teams support our residents with person centred support to empower them to overcome their personal barriers with their mental health, and have greater independence and fulfilled living. 

Some key responsibilities include:

• Line Management including providing support and guidance, conducting support and supervisions, and ensuring duties are carried out effectively
• Support with the operational delivery of the service
• Risk Management ownership, ensuring processes and policies are followed
• Property and Housing Management; ensuring the accommodation meets our requirements and is safe to live in

We are seeking a passionate, driven and motivated individual to lead the service in a trauma informed and inclusive way. You will have knowledge around the Mental Health complexities that residents can face, and have a can-do attitude which can help empower the team to deliver their KPI's. We look for:

We are seeking a dedicated Philanthropy Officer who will help sustain and grow the organisation’s income. This involves managing timelines for applications and reports, writing high-quality proposals and impact reports (often in collaboration with colleagues in policy, science, communications, and finance), and researching new funding opportunities. 

The role also includes maintaining strong relationships with existing funders by providing timely updates outside of formal reporting, and leading on the drafting of the organisation’s annual report to clearly communicate achievements and impact.

CHEM Trust’s overarching aim is to prevent synthetic chemicals from causing long-term damage to wildlife and people by ensuring that chemicals which cause such harm are substituted with safer alternatives.

Key Duties

• Fundraising activity – preparing compelling and bespoke proposals tailored to donor requirements, ensuring effective stewardship of charitable trust and foundation major gifts within CHEM Trust’s portfolio by building relationships and providing on-time reports and updates.
• Working cross-organisationally, to ensure relevant information is obtained from CHEM Trust’ team members in a timely fashion to report to funders in advance of deadlines.
• Timeline management – keeping an accurate track of the necessary reporting and application deadlines and ensuring these are communicated in good time to relevant team members.
• Developing relationships and networking – including excellent donor stewardship to existing funders and using events, meetings, talks and inspirational writing to help charitable trusts learn about CHEM Trust’s work and understand the difference we are making.
• Recording and maintaining accurate funding data, ensuring records are kept and effectively managed and that CHEM Trust’s fundraising team operates within GDPR.
• Good team working - daily interaction with the fundraising team, wider CHEM Trust team, funding partners and others, plus possible interaction with trustees.

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Director to join our team. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving our fundraising efforts, developing relationships, building and managing cross organisational and corporate partnerships, and expanding our network to support and enhance our programmes. The postholder is key in the delivery of the organisation’s strategic vision and direction.

The core function of the role will be to help lead the organisation as it looks to expand its services and capacity to serve those with learning disabilities.

Over the last few months, CPF has been looking into upcoming tender opportunities and recently finished a feasibility study which has provided recommendations on some of the most viable partnership opportunities and expanded service provisions that could play a vital role in moving forward. Job purpose
The Place-based Food Systems Manager will play a leading role in the development of The Food Foundation’s local policy and project work in 3 interconnected ways:

1.  Stimulating and supporting leadership in regions, cities, local authority areas and anchor institutions to take action to improve local access to affordable, healthy and sustainable food
2. Identifying the policy and food business levers which enable the emergence of more resilient local food systems which improve access to affordable, healthy and sustainable food in local communities

In the first instance, you will play a leading role in our place-based work in Kent and Birmingham, in particular focused on improving the health and sustainability of menus and business offerings through the promotion of beans, pulses and legumes. The role will work across both the Policy and Food Business Transformation teams at The Food Foundation, as well as on the health and sustainability policy asks across the organisation. This role is offered on a flexible full-time temporary 3 months contract basis, paying a salary of £41,112 per annum with flexible working arrangements between home and their London office.

The Direct Marketing Executive will be working within the context of the Fundraising Strategy develop, manage and deliver a programme to drive new financials donors. They will leverage their Direct Mail experience to drive cash income across a range of channels including Email, Telemarketing and Paid Social. They will build email campaigns within our tech stack, ensuring thorough process as well as implementing tests and reporting back on results.

They are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience in planning and delivering direct marketing fundraising or individual giving campaigns, such as direct mail appeals. They are looking for someone with a track record of implementing successful customer/donor journeys across all direct marketing channels. The ideal candidate will have experience managing paid social media campaigns.

Senior Communications & Public Affairs Executive

£40,000-£45,000 (dependent on relevant skills and experience) plus generous benefits 

Location – Hybrid working split between the Foundation’s office in London and home. This usually averages at two days in the office per week.

As Senior Communications and Public Affairs Executive, you’ll play a vital role in raising the profile of the Football Foundation and its funding partners, the Premier League, The FA and Government. Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, you’ll use your political insight and communications expertise to engage MPs, local authorities and key stakeholders, helping influence policy and showcase the impact of our investment in grassroots football. 

You’ll identify and tell powerful stories, securing positive media coverage and developing campaigns that highlight the difference our funding makes to communities across England. From drafting press releases and impact stories to managing MP visits and high-level briefings, you’ll ensure our voice is heard where it matters most. 

This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where you’ll combine your flair for storytelling with your public affairs know-how, building relationships that strengthen our mission to transform lives through football.

Our new Senior Social Media Officer (Professionals) will be responsible for managing the smooth day-to-day running of our dedicated social media channels for professionals.

This new role will focus on leading the development of channels to promote our charity’s training, accreditation, diagnosis and best practice support.

We are looking for someone to create engaging multimedia content and copy, and build and nurture positive community engagement. World Jewish Relief launched the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to people who have experienced forced migration in the UK. 

STEP aims to support refugees and others who have experienced forced migration to overcome the complex barriers they face in preparing for, and ultimately finding, work in the UK. We work with individuals, regardless of their background or proximity to the labour market, helping them develop the skills and access the opportunities they need to secure sustainable and meaningful employment.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Officer, who will be central to the smooth delivery and coordination of the STEP In-Person Programme. You will work closely with a network of expert partners, including local authorities and NGOs, to ensure high-quality, accessible support is delivered within communities.

You will be responsible for a range of programme and partnership management tasks, including oversight of grant payments, data and impact reporting, delivery partner support, and internal training and induction. You will also contribute to the design and delivery of specialist strands of STEP, including our pilot programme for people seeking asylum and our Experts by Experience Board. You will work closely with the STEP Programme Manager to implement the programme’s current delivery and help shape its future direction into 2025 and beyond.

About you

• Experience of working in a programme delivery or coordination role, particularly supporting refugees or other marginalised groups into employment
• Experience supporting or managing external partnerships or stakeholders
• Experience organising, planning and facilitating training and workshops
