Purpose of the job

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and relationship‑focused individual to join our Corporate Partnerships team. The role will be a mix of managing and growing existing partnerships and supporting new business activity.

You’ll work closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager and other colleagues across the team to ensure that our corporate partners feel valued, supported, and inspired by the impact they are helping to create. You’ll also contribute to building our pipeline, identifying potential new supporters, making first contact, and helping to develop tailored proposals.

While you don’t need to be an expert from day one, you will bring energy, curiosity, and great interpersonal skills, along with the ability to deliver excellent partnership experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management

• Support the management of existing corporate partnerships, ensuring they are well‑stewarded and achieve agreed objectives.

• Coordinate partnership activities, such as volunteering days, events, campaigns, and communications.

• Work with internal teams (Marketing, Impact, Delivery) to gather and share inspiring impact stories and updates with partners.

• Track and report on partnership deliverables and KPIs.

• Identify opportunities to deepen existing partnerships, such as additional projects, campaigns, or employee engagement activities.

New Business Support

• Research and identify potential new corporate partners.

• Assist with approaches to prospective partners, including outreach emails, calls, LinkedIn networking, and event attendance.

• Support the development of high‑quality proposals, presentations, and budgets for senior stakeholders.

• Help maintain and grow the new business pipeline.

Communications & Events

• Work with Marketing & Comms to produce engaging partnership content for social media, newsletters, and impact reports.

• Represent UK Youth at external networking events, conferences, and partner‑related activities.

Data & Administration

• Keep all CRM records accurate and up to date.

• Support due diligence processes for both new and existing partnerships.

• Ensure donations are processed, recorded, and recognised appropriately.

A strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including welfare reform, the Care Act, and housing pathways, is essential. The candidate must be confident in engaging clients in assessments and collaboratively developing, reviewing, and auditing support and safety plans. Proficiency in MS Office and case management systems is required, as is the ability to manage basic building safety issues and handle petty cash accurately. Excellent spoken and written communication skills, flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, and resilience in challenging situations are key to success in this role.

We are working in partnership with Richard House Children’s Hospice to secure their new CRM and Supporter Care Officer. Richard House helps children and their families in East London to lead as happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting health condition. From the moment a child is diagnosed with a life-limiting, life-threatening or complex health condition everything changes. These changes affect the whole family, which is why Richard House feel it is vital not only to provide care to the child but to support the whole family. As a member of the fundraising team, you will directly support the charity’s work, as the majority of their services are funded thanks to the generosity of their supporters.

The CRM and Supporter Care Officer will be responsible maintaining and updating the charity's CRM database (Raiser’s Edge), ensuring it effectively supports fundraising management, and key operational areas. This role is offered on an interim basis, but with the option to become permanent.

Job Title: Housing Independent Gender Violence Advocate (Housing IGVA)

The Housing Independent Gender Violence Advocate (IGVA) will be embedded within borough housing teams to facilitate the dual working that will ensure that survivors’ safety and housing needs are met. This includes:

· Close working relationships with Housing colleagues 

· Provision of specialist knowledge relating to DA for Housing Officers and Homelessness Teams to draw on 

· Specialist support for survivors at the moment of crisis 

· Provision of advocacy; supporting survivors to access safe accommodation 

· Ongoing support from the IGVA from wider DA service, including access to group clinical supervision, casework management meetings, reflective practice sessions, one-to-one supervision from service manager 

The Housing IGVA will work closely with victims of gender-based violence from the point of crisis, to provide high quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of gender-based violence at the highest risk and their children. The role will be part of increasing the ability of partner agencies to recognise, reject and respond appropriately and safely to all forms of gender-based violence (including domestic violence, sexual, financial and emotional abuse, female genital mutilation, forced marriage and honour-based violence).

The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors. The job involves informing survivors of the full range of civil, criminal, housing and practical options that might increase their safety. The post holder will empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support especially around complex housing needs.

The job involves ensuring that women are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment, enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options.

Job Title: Dual Diagnosis Worker

Salary: £29,000 

Location and Travel: The role is based in East Croydon, accessible by Train and Tram Link. Any travel required outside your home location for work-related purposes can be expensed.  

Shift Pattern: 12 months Fixed Term Contract - Full time: 37.5 hours per week. Hours to be discussed, you will be based in service. 

About the role

We are seeking a Dual Diagnosis Worker who has a specialism in complex mental health and substance misuse to join our team in Croydon. This is a residential service which provides specialist mental health, complex needs, and dual diagnosis support to our residents. You will utilise your previous experience and knowledge, and provide specialist support to those who have been diagnosed with mental ill health and have challenges with substance use. You will deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills.

Within this role, you will act as a specialist for comorbidity, supporting the team to achieve positive outcomes for our residents. Some of the duties may include:

• Undertake joint holistic assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and interventions to support harm reduction and minimisation.
• Set up realistic and flexible strengths-based support plans, working closely with colleagues and support teams to support and advise on interventions and approaches to meet individual needs.
• Help reduce episodes of crisis and assist residents/participants to access services which can offer alternatives to crisis support.
• Work closely with support staff and clinical teams to support and advise them on interventions and approaches to meet resident/participant comorbid, complex mental health and substance misuse needs.
• Support multi-disciplinary teams and the wider community teams with support, advice, signposting, and move on care planning. 

About you

We’re looking for someone who has specialist knowledge on how to support individuals with comorbid and complex needs, with previous experience in a similar role. We look at individual characteristics to be able to show resilience, solve challenges, and be proactive in your approach. You will have a passion for supporting people to achieve their personal goals, and achieve positive outcomes, this includes having the ability to engage with people who may be hard to reach and engage with. We further are looking for someone who has:

• An appropriate qualification which is relevant to the role which could include: National Diploma, Bachelors, or master’s in psychology, Dual Diagnosis, Substance Misuse or any relevant
• Previous experience in a similar role, providing holistic assessments and support for people experiencing mental health challenges
• Applied knowledge of the principles of risk assessment and risk management, particularly in relation to harm minimisation.
• A commitment to promoting recovery, harm reduction, and active involvement in care planning.
• Ability to apply relapse prevention models to promote sustained recovery and harm reduction.
