Key Responsibilities:
New Internationalist is seeking an experienced, proactive, creative, and strategic Marketing Manager to lead our income growth efforts during a critical stage in our organisation’s growth and development. You will be responsible for delivering a bold, data-informed marketing strategy designed to increase UK and international magazine subscriptions in print and digital, launch a new membership product, and drive retention across all income channels.
- Campaign Development & Delivery: Plan and execute marketing and sales campaigns across multiple channels (email, social, web, events) to meet set acquisition and retention targets
- Retention and Customer Experience: Work closely with internal teams to improve retention rates and maximise the impact of customer journey touch points.
- Outreach and profile raising: Identify and target new audiences for both subscriptions and news-stand sales, creating a strategy to convert them to subscribers and regular buyers.
- Product Development: Lead the development and launch of a new membership product including stakeholder consultation, light market research, A/B testing, and pricing refinement.
- Community Engagement: Activate and upsell existing subscribers and supporters through tailored messaging, events, and cross-channel promotions.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with internal teams to gather ideas, content, and assets. Coordinate and project-manage campaign delivery organisation-wide.

The Marketing Manager will become a member of the NI Co-operative and will be appointed as a Director of New Internationalist Publications Ltd (NIP - the company that runs NI’s day-to-day business in a co-operative fashion), following a period of probation of 6 months.
All co-operative members are directly responsible to the NI co-operative and play an integral part in its business. They report to their teams on general work matters.

This is a key role within the CSA Centre, central to our ambition to raise awareness of the true scale and nature of sexual abuse and to drive evidence-informed improvements in policy and practice.
About the role:
The CSA Centre aims to reduce the impact of child sexual abuse through improved prevention and better response, and our work in influencing and shaping policy at local, regional and national level is key to that mission.
As our Policy Manager, you will play an important role in developing and delivering the CSA Centre's policy influencing activities over the immediate and longer term, helping us to ensure that our evidence, learning and resources have the widest possible reach and impact at both local and national level.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with the CSA Centre's Senior Management Team and our multi-agency, multi-disciplinary team, enabling you to draw on expertise from a wide range of different professional backgrounds, and with colleagues from across Government and key stakeholder groups.
We are looking for a motivated person with strong skills and experience in policy roles, and the ability to manage an extensive and varied workload to deliver multiple objectives. Policy activity at the CSA Centre is extremely diverse; in any given week you might find yourself joining (or in many cases leading) discussions with other leading charities to agree a joint influencing plan for new government legislation, meeting with senior civil servants to discuss proposed changes to legislation or guidance, working with the Senior Management Team to develop new policy positions on emerging areas of concern, linking up with our specialist practice improvement advisers or research and evaluation team to consider the policy implications of new CSA Centre initiatives… No two days are the same!
As Policy Manager at the CSA Centre you will play a key role in tackling child sexual abuse, alongside the work of our colleagues across practice, research, communications and training. This is important work - the CSA Centre conservatively estimates that one in ten children will experience some form of child sexual abuse before age of 16, and our ambitious programme seeks to improve the knowledge, skills and confidence of professionals (social workers, teachers, social workers, nurses etc.) in identifying and responding to child sexual abuse. We have already made great progress, but there is much more to be done – and we need your help to do it!
This role is currently funded until 31 March 2026, in line with the current grant funding arrangements for the CSA Centre. This will be reviewed in late 2025, as future funding for the CSA Centre from 2026/27 onwards is clarified.
Although this contract has a permanent status, please be aware that this post is subject to funding currently until March 2026 and therefore should this funding not be extended further, you may be subject to a redundancy consultation or a TUPE arrangement. This contract is due to expire on 31.03.26.

Role Purpose
Responsible for documenting and maintaining up-to-date fundraising income processes, ensuring the accurate and efficient integration of donation data from multiple platforms into the organisation’s CRM (Salesforce). This is a new role within the Bereavement Support Service proactively engaging bereaved families with the support service, respond to bereavement support digital enquiries, working in a team to deliver and ensure anyone seeking advice and support on bereavement is given a high-quality service in a timely way.
The aim of this post is to provide consistent, high-quality emotional support via digital channels to bereaved families who seek support from the Lullaby Trust.
Main duties and responsibilities
1. Proactively engage bereaved families with the support service, respond to bereavement support digital enquiries, working in a team to deliver and ensure anyone seeking advice and support on bereavement is given a high-quality service in a timely way.
· Assist with the setting up of new digital channels to be used by the Lullaby Trust to answer and respond to bereaved families.
· To be the primary contact for the bereavement support digital services including WhatsApp, text, webchat and other social media channels.
· Proactively engage with bereaved families through social media and other online platforms.
· Ensure any safeguarding concerns are actioned in accordance with the organisations Safeguarding policy.
· Send materials to bereaved contacts, including bereavement packs and follow up emails and ensure all documents and databases are updated with each contact in line with the department guidelines, including Raiser’s Edge, Excel databases.
· Cover and answer the bereavement support helpline and online enquiries responding within the set guidelines and KPIs for the department.
· Ensure any messages on Bereavement Support Facebook Groups are monitored and advice is given via befrienders where appropriate.
· Attend face to face events for bereaved families including family days and memorial events when needed.

2. Deliver and run live bereavement themed sessions on social media

Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA) is the only UK charity dedicated to raising awareness of economic abuse and transforming responses to it.
Since our founding in 2017, we’ve proudly campaigned successfully for the recognition of economic abuse in UK law and influenced wide-ranging systemic change to transform responses to it. We're now entering an ambitious new phase, and we’re seeking a dynamic, strategic and values-led Head of Income as part of the Senior Leadership Teamto help drive it forward.
This is a critical time for SEA. With a bold three-year strategy now in place, we’re looking for an experienced income-generation leader to oversee and diversify our income streams — across high-net-worth giving, corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, and earned income through consultancy and training. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Income will play a vital role in shaping the future of the organisation and enabling us to scale our impact.
The Head of Income will lead a talented team, including our Senior Fundraising Manager (trusts and foundations) and Corporate Development Manager (strategic multi-stakeholder partnerships), and collaborate closely with our CEO, Trustees and earned income delivery teams (consultancy and training) whilst also being hands on in relationship development. About the role
We are looking for a proactive self-starter to sit within a high-performing team working to raise awareness of SSAFA’s support in the South West Region of England to those in the Armed Forces Community who need it most.
With the ultimate objective being to grow SSAFA’s presence, profile, and identity, the role is responsible for all marcomms activation in the region. The role holder will work to deliver the central Fundraising, Marketing & Communications strategy.
This role reports to the Head of Communications with close alignment with colleagues across the marcomms directorate. The marcomms manager will be responsible for managing marketing campaigns in the South West Region of England and promoting SSAFA’s fundraising initiatives and services. You’ll identify the areas of greatest impact and cut through, deliver integrated awareness campaigns and secure media coverage of fundraising events. Crucially, you’ll be able to identify stories which resonate with our target audience and write calls to action.

About the team
The Communications team is a small but dynamic group of individuals with strong skillsets across Public Relations, Storytelling (case studies) and Internal Communications. The team is a mix of ex-forces and civilians, and they are always sharing knowledge and expertise with each other.
You will work closely across all directorates within SSAFA, with a focus in South West, to garner information and create compelling marcomms campaigns and activities to raise awareness of SSAFA’s work.

You will be a highly motivated and creative communicator with a proven track record of delivering impactful PR and marketing campaigns. As a natural storyteller with strong media instincts, you will excel at securing high-profile coverage and elevating our brand presence. The role also involves developing compelling cases for support, overseeing donor stewardship and cultivation events, and supporting a culture of philanthropy across the organisation.
Our client is looking for someone with significant experience in high-value fundraising, particularly major donor and trusts & foundations income, with a strong track record of securing five and six-figure gifts. You'll bring excellent relationship-building skills, strategic planning experience, and the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team. Experience developing fundraising strategies, managing budgets, and delivering against targets will also be important for success in this role.
