About the role

You’re primarily responsible for providing daily administrative support to the helpline and managing written enquiries submitted through the Ask Our Nurses (AON) service. You’re responsible for supporting the nursing and helpline teams with administrative tasks to facilitate the delivery of high-quality nurse-led services

About you 

You’re an effective communicator with excellent verbal and written skills. You’re organised and able to juggle multiple projects and able to work to deadlines. You’re friendly and adaptable as well as being flexible to the needs of the service and the team.

You’ll ideally have experience of using excel to show statistical information and are familiar with the use of a CRM database.

About the Role

As part of our collaborative Finance Business Partnering team, you’ll support fundraising, communications, advocacy, and activism across Mencap. You’ll provide clear financial advice, insightful analysis, and strong financial management to ensure our fundraising income is used effectively to benefit people with learning disabilities.

Over the next five years Mencap have big ambitions to significantly grow our fundraising income and increase our influencing and campaigning impact to ensure people with a learning disability can live life to the full.

This role is a full time permanent position. There is flexibility around where the role is based. We have large offices in London and Peterborough and smaller offices located throughout the UK.

You will need to travel occasionally for meetings. However, this role will primarily be working remotely.

 

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with directorate teams to create robust budgets and forecasts, offering support and advice for realistic financial planning.
• Providing clear financial reports and analysis to help teams understand results, spot emerging issues, and make informed decisions.
• Supporting complex income forecasting (e.g. legacies), using scenario analysis to guide planning and assess risk.
• Delivering financial analysis and modelling to support investment decisions.
• Ensuring funding applications and management of restricted funds are accurate and compliant.
• Improving finance processes and reporting, including with our new Salesforce fundraising CRM system.
• Acting as key contact for external auditors and funders regarding fundraising financials.
• Ensuring accounting and financial compliance with Charity SORP and other relevant regulations.
• Managing and coaching an FBP team member, supporting their development.

 What You’ll Bring

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in finance business partnering, ideally within a charity or fundraising environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data.

This is a pivotal role and the successful candidate will be in charge of the financial reporting across our Personal Support (PS) services in England, Cymru and Northern Ireland. About the Role

The Head of SBC (Social and Behaviour Change) and Inclusion is a critical technical leadership position that supports country programmes to design solutions that improve attitudes, support for and uptake of sexual and reproductive health services across communities.  This includes guiding and building capacity in user-centred design principles to ensure projects are inclusive and responsive to the needs of the audience.  It also means incorporating best practice to create programming that is gender transformative and equitable. This role will be focused on the “Leaving No One Behind” Pillar of the MSI 2030 strategy with a special focus on reaching key populations and vulnerable groups including adolescents, people living with disability and people in extreme poverty.

This role will also be responsible for coordinating with donor teams and supporting programmes to ensure completion of key donor deliverables related to SBC and GESI Gender Equality and Social Inclusion).

Finance Business Partner (Property) 18 month FTC

 

Are you an experienced Finance Business Partner with property experience looking for a role where you can make a real difference in the charity sector? 

Mencap operates in over 1,600 properties in England, Northern Ireland and Wales. This includes providing personal support services for people with a learning disability in a variety of settings, housing management services across 250 properties, retail shops and offices.

We have a fantastic and rewarding opportunity for a Finance professional to support our property team for the next 18 months as they focus on delivering transformation in their processes. This role is a 30 hours fixed-term contract for 18 months, on a 4 day a week basis.

We have large offices in London, and Peterborough and smaller offices located throughout the UK. If there is no office available within a reasonable distance, the role may be offered as home-based with some travel for team meetings. 

We are looking for someone who is a confident communicator with both finance colleagues and operational staff, adapting their style to their audience. Someone who is well organised, can prioritise their workload and have the ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while working to tight deadlines will thrive in this role. This role will work closely with property and operational teams to create strong financial planning for opex and capex. We have the opportunity for a Learning and Development Manager to join our People and Organisational Development team to manage, design and deliver the Membership Learning and Development programme at RBL.

Reporting to the Head of Learning and Development, key responsibilities will include:

- Lead, design, develop and deliver the Membership L&D Program, offering virtual, in-person, and blended learning interventions
- Establish a structured learning, coaching, and mentoring program to support County Training Officers (CTOs)
- Develop and manage a quality framework to collect relevant quantitative and qualitative management data to assess impact, identify areas for improvement, and capture lessons learned, supporting informed decision-making and continuous learning
- Manage and lead a team of L&D Specialists and an L&D Coordinator
- Collaborate with Membership Services and stakeholders to identify County and Branch development needs, recommending targeted solutions and interventions
- Lead the delivery of exceptional customer service to members by actively listening to their needs and ensuring enquiries are handled promptly and efficiently

This role requires regular travel, weekend and evening work, and overnight stays across the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) to deliver learning interventions to meet the needs of colleagues. The expectation is two to three times a month on average and there is also a requirement to attend our London, Haig House office regularly for team meetings and to build relationships with colleagues outside of delivering training.

About the Role

As Media Lead you will be responsible for running the charity's busy press office and you will play a central role in shaping how Victim Support is seen and heard in the media. You'll write and deliver a strategic Media Plan that positions the charity as a trusted and recognised victims' voice, increases the profile of our services and contributes to influencing positive change.

This is a hands-on role where you'll manage media enquiries, build trusted relationships with journalists and ensure our spokespeople are briefed and supported for interviews. You'll work closely with colleagues across external affairs, social media and frontline services, and provide expert media advice to senior leaders. You'll also line manage our Stories Officer and oversee our Stories Library, giving a platform to victims' voices and experiences.

Age Uk Westminster is seeking a Digital Inclusion Coordinator to join our community based inclusion team funded by Central North West London NHS Foundation Trust.

The Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster Social Isolation project supports and enhances existing Older Adult Mental Health services provided by CNWL by providing targeted outreach digital inclusion support to vulnerable older people with the aim of reducing the impact of loneliness and isolation.
