This role will lead the Corporate Partnerships team at Home-Start UK and drive the development and implementation of a fundraising strategy that builds on a recent period of significant growth. With projected corporate income of £2.5 million in 2025/26, the successful candidate will focus on generating sustainable, high-return income. They will ensure excellent supporter-focused account management for existing partners, while also identifying and securing new partnerships to build a strong pipeline for long-term income.
Ultimately, this work will enable Home-Start UK to support more families with young children through challenging times.

Bexley Deaf Centre (BDC) is a small and dynamic, well-established charity which has been serving the borough since 1994. Required Experience

The role
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Systems Administrator.
As the IT System Administrator, you will be responsible for the development, administration and optimisation of Cruse’s Microsoft 365 environment and wider IT cloud infrastructure.
Working closely with the Head of IT, and the wider Digital Services team of 5 staff, you will ensure our systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with the needs of our staff and volunteers.
Cruse operates a cloud IT infrastructure providing IT services to staff and volunteers based across the UK and Northern Ireland. Microsoft 365 is the main IT service, but there will also be other IT systems you will need to become familiar with in this role.
Cruse makes use of a managed services IT support provider and numerous application and service provider support teams; you will be required to work with these teams making sure our issues are resolved quickly and with minimum disruption.
As part of your role, you will be involved in BAU and project work and be comfortable with competing priorities and pressures.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to advance their technical skills and experience. Sutton Night Watch is a registered charity which was set up to support and raise awareness for the homeless people within the London Borough of Sutton and surrounding areas.
Over the past 10 years, with the support of local business, the local community and fundraising efforts, we have been able to grow and expand into our own, permanent base in December 2019. From here we are able to not only provide the essentials such as food, showers and clothing supplies, but we are able to also offer our service users a range of health services, benefit advice, wellbeing and educational based courses, clothes, washing facilities and most importantly, a place where people are seen, heard and understood. We also support people to find secure accommodation. In the past 3 months we have found homes for 13 people.
Job Purpose:
The Fundraising Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing fundraising strategies to secure financial support for the organization.
Our annual fundraising target is set at c250k (cash income) plus additional targets for in-kind donations, preloved donations and donated services. These support the growth and sustainability of our operations, ensuring we can continue to provide essential items and services to local people experiencing homelessness.
This role involves managing donor relationships, coordinating fundraising campaigns, organizing events, and ensuring income targets are met to sustain and grow the charity’s mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy across individual giving, corporate partnerships, grants, trusts, community fundraising, and events.
- Set annual income targets and monitor performance against goals.
- Identify new opportunities for sustainable income generation.
Donor & Stakeholder Management
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors, corporate partners, and sponsors.
- Ensure regular communication, reporting, and stewardship to encourage long-term support.
- Work closely with trustees, senior management, and volunteers to maximize fundraising potential
Campaigns & Events
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate fundraising campaigns and events (in-person and digital).

· Grant & Bid Writing
- Research and apply for funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, and grant-making bodies.

About the role
As our Senior Marketing Manager - Retention & Engagement, you will strategically lead the team responsible for the £34 million existing supporter income stream and work closely with and the wider Supporter Marketing Team and teams across Communication and Fundraising to maximise Supporter Lifetime Value.
In this role, you will:
- Own and deliver the strategic priorities for Supporter Engagement and Retention, holding accountability for the £34 million income target and the maximisation of Supporter Lifetime Value.
- Provide direct line management to a team of five specialists, leading the strategic prioritisation and delivery of the entire retention portfolio (Appeals, HV, Email, Stewardship, Magazine).
- Lead the annual and long-term budget planning process, driving accurate forecasting and optimal resource allocation for the retention function.
- Design and champion the omnichannel Supporter Journey roadmap, ensuring a unified, personalised experience that strengthens supporter loyalty and engagement.
- Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion and safeguarding.
Requirements
To be successful, you will need:
- Retention Strategy & Income Accountability: Proven track record of managing a significant income stream from existing supporters, demonstrating success in reducing attrition and growing supporter lifetime value.
- Leadership & Budget Mastery: Experience in leading and managing a small, high-impact team of specialists, coupled with expertise in annual budget planning, forecasting, and reforecasting.
- Engagement & Digital Expertise: Deep expertise in developing and optimising complex supporter loyalty programmes and automating multi-channel journeys, including proficiency in email marketing.
- Collaboration & Influence: Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build strong senior-level relationships and drive alignment across Fundraising and Communications teams.
Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:
- Experience managing or overseeing Mid-Value Donor strategies within a mass-market context.
- Prior experience working in the Non-Profit or International Development Sector.
- A professional CIM/IDM Qualification (or equivalent).
