The Nuffield Foundation is looking for an AV and Information Systems Coordinator to take a lead role in managing our AV meeting and events environment and providing vital first-line systems support.

In this role you’ll work closely with the colleagues across the Foundation to ensure the seamless delivery of hybrid, online, and in-person events. You will also support the wider Information Systems team (and work with an outsourced IT provider) to manage and improve key systems like Office 365 and SAP Concur, while assisting with user support and project coordination.

We're seeking someone with excellent organisational and communication skills, strong IT literacy, and a proactive, calm approach to problem-solving. Experience with AV systems or IT support is desirable, with a willingness to learn being of most importance.

About this Role

The Marketing and Communications Officer will play a crucial role in enhancing and promoting IAPO's mission and initiatives through effective marketing and communication strategies. Role Summary

We are looking for a passionate and effective Autistic Lived Experience Trainer to support us to deliver an exciting new programme of work. We have been commissioned by an NHS organisation to deliver and support the roll out of autism-informed care training to all staff working in their mental health inpatient settings. This programme of work will run for 9 months, and will include the delivery of various half day and full day autism-informed training sessions both in-person and online. We will also be working closely with Experts by Experience to become skilled and confident in delivery of this training to support the organisational sustainability of this knowledge. The programme of work will also embed an evaluation of the training to demonstrate learning and impact.

The Autistic Lived Experience Trainer will be working closely alongside our Lived Experience Lead to deliver all aspects of the programme, with support from our wider staff team.

Role Description

• Co-facilitate training sessions both online and in-person to staff from various professions and in various roles across mental health in-patient settings.
• Deliver pre-prepared content and facilitate reflective conversations.
• Monitor feedback and adjust content and delivery as necessary.
• Collect and analyse feedback data, both qualitative and quantitative.
• Support Experts by Experience to become confident with delivery of content.
• Ensure training content remains relevant and includes the latest research, alongside lived experience insight.
• Use own lived experience insight to supplement content and support reflection and catalyse change.
• Liaise with NHS colleagues to support training session logistics
• To represent Neurodiverse Connection nationally, regionally and locally as appropriate and to promote the work that we do.
• To work alongside the Neurodiverse Connection staff and associate team to ensure delivery of high-quality work.
• Frequent travel within Norfolk and Suffolk to deliver in person training.

• Assist the Research & Insights Manager in the design and managing of research and insights which support CAN’s mission.

Responsibilities and Person Specification:

The Head of Governance will lead the charity’s small Governance and Risk, and Facilities teams. They are responsible for governance, company secretarial, risk management, health and safety, safeguarding, information governance, procurement and contracts management, business continuity planning, and management of facilities and the charity's office and small portfolio of other properties.

The role would suit someone who enjoys a broad remit and working with colleagues across the charity, who can think around issues and implement pragmatic solutions. As the role has a wide remit, the ability to learn quickly will be key. Candidates will need senior level experience of charity governance, risk management and safeguarding, ideally working with adults at risk. Applicants will need to be good communicators, verbally and in writing.

This role is 0.5FTE (17.5 hours per week). There is some flexibility around how the hours can be worked, but hours would normally be worked across 2.5 days a week, with attendance required at specific times for management and trustee meetings. Office attendance will be required on average 2 days a week for meetings and due to responsibility for office management.

Job Title: Executive Administrator 

Location: Central Office which is based around a 10 minute walk from Highbury and Islington Station. Hybrid working available, approximately 2 - 3 days per week in the office including every Tuesday. Additional office, service, and away days would be required for attendance.

Salary: 

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00. At times you may be required to work outside these hours, including for out of hours board meetings in the evenings, and other meetings which may be after hours. 

About the role

We're looking for an Executive Administrator to join our central office team, reporting to the Director of Finance and Resource. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-level administrative and governance support to various leaders within the organisation, including the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), The Board, and CEO. 

In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of coordinating meetings, managing governance processes, and supporting strategic initiatives. You will facilitate board and SLT meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, taking formal minutes, and ensuring a timely follow-up on actions, whilst overseeing compliance with health and safety regulations, supporting the organisation's environmental strategy.

You will further line manage a small team of 2 Administrative Support Officers who support with the day to day administration and management of our central office.

About you

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced organisation. You will be a proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills, both verbally and written. You will be able to organise and manage events and away days, as well as manage our booking systems and general running. You will have proven minute taking experience, able to write minutes for meetings in an organised manner, and manage our shared online platforms for ease of access, and usability. You will have:

• Experience in high level administration duties, ideally within a similar role, supporting senior leadership teams and boards with all areas of administration
• Previous experience taking minutes in meetings
• IT Proficiency: Knowledge, skills, and ability to learn and manage online systems, particularly Microsoft programs, able to book and manage meetings using outlook and teams
• Excellent numeracy and financial skills, with the ability to deliver best practice in financial management and produce accurate and timely financial information
• Ability to write reports, manage data, and oversee audit processes to a professional, high business standard
• Ability to work with confidential information in a timely secure manner
• Analytical skills, with the ability to find, absorb, and summarise complex information
• Attention to detail and quality, able to verify and proofread documents
• Time and workload management: Ability to work to tight deadlines with competing priorities
• Ability to prepare, and write documents, letters, and other communication to a professional, high business standard
