This is a fixed contract to support the AMA in exploring income generation opportunities for Goose, an AI powered learning platform co-designed with heritage organisations for heritage professionals across the UK. Within this project we are looking to:

· Realise sponsorship opportunities for Goose

· Identify funding opportunities and submit applications to further develop Goose

We are looking to work with someone who has experience of fundraising and sponsorship within the heritage sector.

We have developed Goose as part of an Innovation project funded by National Lottey Heritage Fund. We’ve been working with developers Make Sense of It to build an AI tool that understands the heritage sector, knows about its seasonal challenges, diverse audiences, limited budget and the balance between preservation and accessibility that defines heritage work.

You can use Goose to :

· Create social media content that brings history to life

· Develop marketing strategies for exhibitions and events

· Write visitor-facing materials

· Plan community engagement programmes

· Generate fundraising content

· Explore different approaches to common challenges

Within Goose you have the opportunity to work with Thinking Partners, a team of specialist advisors available 24/7 – a Digital Marketing Manager who knows heritage audiences, a Community Engagement Manager who understands local partnerships, a Fundraising Manager familiar with heritage funding streams. You can bring them into your conversations to support your thinking.

Goose is proving especially helpful for small teams and individuals with a lack of resource and access to a full range of specialist skills. Innovative solutions from one museum can instantly benefit a historic house three hundred miles away. We are not using AI to replace heritage professionals, we are using it to amplify their impact.

As a minimum we would like to see the following outcomes as a result of this work:

Corporate Partnerships Campaign Lead

We are seeking a compassionate, organised and proactive Bereavement Cafe manager to help children and young people who have experienced a bereavement.   Working 15 hours a week across Dorset during term-time,you will plan and deliver Bereavement Cafes which are guided, age-appropriate group sessions that help children to process their grief in a safe and supportive environment. 

Mosaic is a well-regarded charity which has a mission to provide specialist support to children, young people and families when they are struggling to deal with the death of someone close to them.  This role is ideal for someone with a background in working with children and young people,counselling, bereavement support, art therapy or education.  It's important that you're happy to drive to different schools during the week around the county to deliver the cafes, as well as planning the activities aross the term.  

  Mosaic wants to help equip school staff to support students who've been bereaved, and to enable them to understand more about grief and loss.  

Key responsibilities

Programme delivery

Deliver bereavement cafe programmes in primary and secondary schools in Dorset,  liaising with schools on timings and numbers of students.

Facilitate art group sessions (typically one hour) using creative, age-appropriate activities

About This Job

This is an exciting training role in Army Cadet Headquarters responsible for the coordination, development and implementation of strategic training policy across the Army Cadets.

About the role

Our Bristol region has had significant growth after being created in 2021. As a Regional Community Fundraiser, you will engage with a diverse range of audiences, including individuals, local businesses, schools, volunteers, and community groups, to build meaningful relationships and raise vital funds to support Shelter’s mission. Your responsibilities will include managing fundraising events, overseeing budgets, and identifying new opportunities to grow our supporter base. You’ll be at the heart of our efforts to inspire long-term engagement with Shelter’s work and make a lasting impact. You will also work in collaboration with colleagues from across Shelter, including local teams, shops, and services, to ensure that community fundraising goals are aligned with Shelter’s broader objectives.

We are looking for someone with experience of community fundraising and engagement who possesses the skills to build good, meaningful relationships and have strong communication skills to be able to motivate and inspire existing and new supporters. You will need to be able to take a proactive approach to managing budgets and events in your role as community fundraiser and above all, you will also have a passion for social justice and share Shelter’s belief that everyone has the right to a safe home.

About the team

This exciting opportunity sits within Shelter’s Community and Events team which is a part of the Income Generation directorate.  Community and Events is made up of our Community Fundraising, Supporter Experience, Digital Fundraising & Marketing and Mass Participation teams, across the team we look after a wide range of fundraising activities encouraging supporters to raise money and providing them with the support to do so.

In this role, you will report into the Senior Community Fundraising Area Manager for the Midlands and Southern England who will provide guidance, coaching, and support to help you thrive in your role. You’ll be working alongside regional community fundraising colleagues based in London, Birmingham and Norwich.

Working location: mostly remote work with some travel required. Based in Surrey or Hampshire you will deliver a face-to-face service to clients in their own home or safe meeting place across the Surrey and Hampshire area as well as providing support by Teams, phone, email or other means to suit the service user. We take a person-centred approach so the amount of travel will vary depending on your caseload at the time. You’re in control of your own diary. 

 

Why this role is important: Every 20 minutes, someone is killed or seriously injured on UK roads. For families affected, the emotional and practical challenges are immense. As a Caseworker, you will provide trauma-informed care to individuals and families suffering from the sudden bereavement or life-altering injury of a loved one. Working mostly remotely, with some home visits to service users, you’ll offer vital emotional and practical support—including helping them access therapeutic resources, financial assistance, and guidance through the complexities of medical and legal processes. 

About Brake: Brake is a renowned and respected road safety charity with a 30-year history dedicated to supporting people affected by road crashes and advocating for safer streets. 

You'll join a closely knit team of fellow caseworkers, each using their individual experience and skills to provide person-centred support to victims. This provides a ready-made peer group who share best practice and knowledge and support each other so, in turn, they can best support road victims. Who we're looking for 

Full training will be provided under the guidance of our dedicated Training Officer. Our induction program has been developed to equip caseworkers with the skills they need to provide high quality support to road victims and covers topics such as being trauma-informed, safeguarding and risk management. We're open to candidates from all sorts of backgrounds, as long as you're a compassionate, self-starter with a background in providing high-quality emotional support and advocacy. Your experience in roles within the NHS, any health and social care, road safety, counselling, lived experience or any type of casework could make you an ideal candidate. 

Essential Requirements: 

• A full, clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (travel expenses are reimbursed) 

• Resident in the Surrey or Hapshire area. 

• Experience delivering frontline support, preferably involving sudden bereavement or heightened vulnerabilities. 

· Strong advocacy and research skills to liaise with multiple organisations on behalf of service users. 

• Competency in I.T skills to work remotely.
