About You
You are a proactive, strategic thinker with a passion for policy and public affairs, ideally within science, health, or climate sectors. You have excellent communication and analytical skills, experience engaging with diverse stakeholders, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Essential Requirements – Summary

• 1–3 years’ experience in policy, public affairs, government, agency, or related roles.

• Degree in life sciences, public policy, political science, or equivalent.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex information for different audiences.

• Experience developing and advocating policy positions, ideally in science, health, or climate sectors.

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

• Strong organisational skills; able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

About the role:

As a Project Worker at our Stacey Street service in Islington, you’ll support adults who have experienced homelessness or rough sleeping to rebuild stability and move towards independent living. This is a hands-on role in a busy hostel environment where no two days are the same.

You’ll work directly with residents who may be navigating challenges linked to mental health, substance use, trauma or contact with the criminal justice system. Through strengths-based support planning and clear risk management, you’ll help individuals identify goals, overcome barriers and take practical steps forward. From supporting someone to engage with treatment, to sustaining a tenancy or accessing training and employment, your work will focus on realistic, sustainable progress.

Day to day, you’ll build trusted relationships whilst maintaining professional boundaries. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate the right support at the right time, ensuring residents are prepared for successful move-on. You’ll keep accurate records, respond calmly in challenging situations and contribute to a psychologically informed environment where people feel respected and motivated to change.

This role is about creating momentum. We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our award-winning Content and Creative team at Friends of the Earth.

You’ll be an experienced designer bursting with creative ideas and passionate about using your skills to tell compelling stories that inspire people to take action. You’ll have the ability to develop our visual brand, to lead on the production of bold, audience-centric concepts, and to work closely with videographers and copywriters to support the organisation’s ambitious campaigning, activism and fundraising goals.  

You will also line manage the Midweight Graphic Designer and oversee all graphic design output to ensure it is high quality, rooted in insight and delivered on time.

Key Skills and Attributes: 

You’ll have a strong portfolio that demonstrates high-quality, impactful design tailored to different audiences and objectives. You will be confident in developing innovative concepts that work across multiple digital and print channels, and in managing a variety of design projects.

The Role

What will I be doing?

You’ll be responsible for a range of activities, including:

• Act as ‘the conductor’ of our rented office and meeting room spaces working with both internal and external stakeholders to provide consistently positive, welcoming, and inclusive experience.
• Directly line managing the receptionist and the AV technician, as well as oversee temporary or permanently based contractors to meet the building resourcing needs.
• Budget management inclusive of actuate recharging, invoicing external companies, and spending monitoring.
• Oversee the delivery of the front of house service and standards of the IOP staff office through supplier relationship management, maintaining stock levels, and effective logistics tracking.
• Ensure compliance and health and safety regulations, safeguarding requirements, security, alcohol licence requirements and any other relevant IOP policies.

Projects you may work on include:

• Being part of the organisation committees for all IOP events working closely with the departments involved.
• Review of our building revenue and how we can maximise this without conflicting with IOP operations.
• Space management and storage both onsite and externally.

Who will I work with?

We are now seeking an outstanding Deputy Fundraising Director, Key Relationships to provide strategic leadership for this vital programme. Reporting to the Fundraising Director and managing a team of 15 (with five direct reports), the role combines high-level leadership with hands-on engagement with major donors and senior stakeholders.

This is a pivotal moment for Greenpeace UK’s Key Relationships programme. Following a period of organisational change and restructuring, the successful candidate will help strengthen the major donor and philanthropic pipeline while shaping the future direction of the programme. The role

Business Disability Forum is looking for an experienced, strategic Head of IT and AI to review and manage outsourced IT services, work with colleagues to ensure applications are optimised and ensure they comply with best practice data protection. You’ll lead an AI transformation agenda so we can adopt the efficiencies of AI working with colleagues at all levels across the organisation to develop, implement and monitor a plan to embed the benefits of AI while mitigating any risks.

Business Disability Forum outsources IT support to various suppliers covering CRM (Salesforce), Microsoft 365 and Telephony. The Head of IT and AI will review and manage these relationships ensuring users are kept online and active and have the applications best suited to the organisation’s needs with consideration given for compliance with our memberships’ requirements and best practice data protection.

Business Disability Forum needs to adopt the efficiencies of AI, the Head of IT and AI will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing our use of AI, harnessing the automation and cost savings offered while maintaining security of data and compliance with our memberships’ own compliance needs. The Head of IT and AI will work with members of the leadership team to develop, implement and monitor a plan to embed the benefits of AI throughout the organisation while mitigating the risks.

The requirement

• Experience in managing outsourced IT service desks and multiple suppliers
• Proven experience leading AI transformation initiatives, including implementing organisation-wide‑ technology changes.
• Significant experience in leading the implementation and ongoing development of CRM (preferably Salesforce) in a charity or membership organisation.
• Ability to identify and plan future needs from a digital and technical perspective.

HFEH Mind has an exciting part-time opportunity for a creative lead on our new project focusing on the intersect between climate change and young people’s mental health. The London Mental Health and Climate Coalition is a 3 year National Lottery project which includes various partners, who are coming together to connect climate action with mental wellbeing.

 We are looking for someone with experience in creating youth focussed media or content and an interest in climate action and/or mental health. No prior experience in climate change action or mental health is required.

This role will involve:

- Creating both long and short form content for our social media platforms which will be distributed across the Thrive LND partnership.  

- Developing a social media campaign to promote children and young people’s personal wellbeing in the climate emergency.

- Running a co-production youth panel to inform activities around climate action.

- Co-creating workshops and a toolkit to support with eco-anxiety.

You will…

Who we are seeking 
We are seeking a Fundraising Manager, who enjoys writing grant applications and building strong relationships with supporters. Working closely with the Chief Executive, you will have a primary focus working on our trusts and foundations pipeline, while generating around 10% of total income from other sources. We are realistic what is possible in 21 hours per week! 

We are seeking a fundraiser who combines: 

• A strong track record securing trust and foundation income 
• Excellent bid-writing skills 
• Experience generating income beyond trusts (corporate, community or individual)

Summary role description 

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will: 

Lead Trusts and Foundations Income 

• Develop a pipeline of grant funders to apply to. 
• Write compelling, high-quality applications.. 
• Deepen funder relationships to secure repeat grants. 

Raise income from other sources 

Work with the Chief Executive to generate income from other sources with a realistic and achievable target of 10% total income via:

• Corporate partnerships in Islington, King’s Cross tech, creative industries and the City. 
• Community and individual giving, especially among affluent local residents. 

Build sustainable systems to support fundraising 

• ​Strengthen stewardship journeys including donor tracking systems and explore use of AI tools. 
• Contribute to fundraising communications and our profile-building.
