Save the Children UK has an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and engaging individual to join us as our Fundraising Manager, where you will help drive growth in our key income streams while providing exceptional stewardship to our valued supporters. 

In this role you will have the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in the UK, with occasional on-site presence in London Farringdon approximately once per quarter.

About the Role 

As Fundraising Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving income growth across key streams, including regional corporate partnerships and individual fundraisers. You will have the opportunity to build and nurture successful relationships with supporters, offering the highest levels of stewardship while managing multiple priorities. 

Additionally, you will contribute to income reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring that pipelines of prospects and partners are accurately maintained and strategically developed.

In this Role You Will: 

• Drive growth in our key income streams of regional corporate partnerships and supporter led fundraising individuals. 

• Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while providing the highest level of stewardship to all supporters. 

• Contribute to departmental income reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. 

• Ensure the pipeline of prospects and partners is kept up to date across all income streams. 

• Develop and implement safeguarding procedures relevant to the role, ensuring children, community members, staff, and volunteers are protected from harm.

• Experience in a corporate and community fundraising environment.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining the highest level of supporter stewardship. 

• Strong experience of building successful internal and external relationships. 

• Solid organisational skills to ensure fundraising activities are planned, implemented, and completed to the highest standards. 

• Creativity to generate innovative ways to support partners and fundraisers, fostering long-term supporter relationships. 

• Experience of financial budgeting and reporting.

About the role

You will be joining a friendly and face paced fundraising team to identify, support and retain regional supporters. You will be responsible for

* Driving engagement across your region (and beyond) to proactively identify, support, and retain supporters.

* Working with the wider Regional Fundraising Team and collaborate on relationships that might be across the UK

*You'll be generating a strong network of community and corporate supporters to secure sustainable income for the charity. You'll also be building a pipeline of prospects of community and corporate to ensure future support.

About you

To be successful in this role you must have

*Demonstrable knowledge of what it takes to proactively identify, develop, and cultivate supporters to maximise income and deliver against KPIs, objectives and the Community Team business plan.

*A good knowledge of the fundraising landscape and opportunities in the UK
*Experience of building and account managing/stewarding a personal portfolio of high value supporters & corporate partners, volunteers and in aid of events to achieve your financial target.

The aim is to curate powerful and practical warts and all stories, which attendees can ask questions about and dig deep into each other's work.

  • Where the events are geared entirely towards promoting products and services more than the amazing PPM leaders and their practice

What experience and track record do you have?

It’s not essential you tick every box. But the more boxes you can tick the better. It goes without saying, we can help you gain and learn from the experiences you haven’t had yet.

• Education and/or teaching: Knowing how the MAT and schools system works is a must. Knowing who does what PPM role in schools will help bring the right people in the right conversations and the right time. Knowing and understanding the kinds of problems and types of conversations school leaders and teachers is also essential for this role

• Conference production: researching topics, inviting and booking speakers, crafting promotional materials, shouting loudly and proudly about the events and filling up spaces.

• Project management: Planning, tracking and delivering on project objectives across several workflows on time, every time. Managing multiple audiences who are likely to be at different stages of their engagement cycle.

• Customer Relationship Management: designing, building and automating CRMs including sales pipeline design and management eg Hubspot and Airtable

• Copywriting (and digital marketing and email workflow design): designing and writing posts and emails that convert - whether than be speaker invitations, promotional posts or conference onboarding emails.

• Digital marketing integration and automation: integrating and automating digital marketing platforms like eg MailChmip, Hubspot, Airtable and Zapier. Automating drip campaigns and email workflows.

About our team

The successful candidate will be a part of our Central Region team of 7 workers who between us work across a region, from Suffolk to Gloucestershire, up to Shropshire, to Lincolnshire. Beacon is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic youth engagement worker to work as part of a small team to deliver our SHINE offer to young people. SHINE offers early intervention support to all 11-17 year old’s in Stockport to provide information, advice or guidance regarding their emotional wellbeing. It includes: 2 weekly wellbeing groups, a weekly arts group (delivered by Beacon’s partner), signposting and advice. SHINE develops skills to support emotional wellbeing, build resilience and confidence with weekly themes over 12 weeks.

You will be the main point of contact for young people and their families, providing information, advice, guidance and support to access services. You will work with colleagues and the young people to devise and cofacilitate group sessions which are fun, engaging and support young people to develop skills and improve wellbeing. You will liaise with our partner delivery organisation, and support the future development of the service. You will responsible for completing all administrative duties in relation to the service, including the collection of monitoring and feedback data.

The role is for 17.5 hours per week. The hours are to be agreed, but must include Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4pm to 7pm. The salary for this role is £26,481 per annum pro rata.

About the Role:

The Nightstop Coordinator role is busy and varied role, it involves working with young people from when they approach the service to when they find longer term accommodation. You will be responsible for being the first point of contact for all young people, assessing each young person’s needs and risks, finding short and long term housing options, organising the logistics of each Nightstop placement and making sure that each Nightstop placement is safe.

You will also lead on the promotion of the service with the aim of recruiting new Nightstop volunteers. The role will be based in the Manchester office and cover referrals from young people in Greater Manchester

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide a welcoming and supportive service to young people at risk of homelessness

· Conduct needs and risk assessments and arrange Nightstop placements

· Support guests and volunteers through a 24-hour on-call service when required

· Recruit, onboard and engage new volunteer hosts

· Promote the service at events and meetings, building strong relationships with partners

· Maintain accurate records and support reporting processes

· Ensure safeguarding and health and safety requirements are met at all times
