About the Role
The Senior Programme Development Lead (Lessons from Auschwitz Project and Ambassador Programme) Maternity Cover is accountable for the delivery of the Trust’s flagship Lessons from Auschwitz Project, and the Trust’s Youth Advocacy Programme (AKA Ambassador Programme), including all content and quality assurance related to the delivery of a portfolio of activity that falls within these programmes. The remit of the Senior Programme Development Lead (Lessons from Auschwitz Project and Ambassador Programme) Maternity Cover will include two areas of leadership:

1. The continued development and delivery of our Youth Advocacy/Ambassador Programme – the Trust’s youth engagement initiative. The SPDL is responsible for ensuring that through this programme the Trust engages young people across the country, ensuring they understand what the Holocaust was, inspiring them to be part of ensuring this history is remembered, and empowering them to recognise and address antisemitism when they see it today. The SPDL is responsible for driving a youth engagement strategy, which actively scales up the reach of the programme – bringing it to new audiences. They will be responsible for developing high quality, inspiring, engaging and empowering content to young people in England, Scotland and Wales – quality assuring the programme and all associated initiatives. 2. As our Individual Giving and Legacies Manager (Maternity Cover), you will play a central role in shaping Hospice UK’s supporter engagement and income generation. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and grow legacy giving, payroll giving, and in-memory giving, ensuring every supporter’s journey is meaningful, engaging, and impactful.

You will be at the heart of some of Hospice UK’s most important fundraising activity, supporting the National Legacy Campaign and working closely with colleagues across the organisation and external partners to deliver high-impact campaigns for local hospices. Through thoughtful leadership, engaging communications, and effective appeals, you will help maximise income generation while directly supporting our mission to ensure everyone can access compassionate end-of-life care.

You will join a friendly, collaborative team of six within the wider Income Generation and Grants Directorate of 23. The Events and Supporter Engagement Team includes the Head of Events and Supporter Engagement, Events Fundraising Manager, Digital Fundraising and Engagement Executive, another Individual Giving and Legacies Manager, and two Supporter Engagement Officers. Together, we raise funds from individuals through events, digital campaigns, memorial and legacy giving, regular and payroll giving, and one-off donations. We also deliver a wide range of supporter engagement activities and oversee supporter communications and journeys.

To succeed as our Individual Giving and Legacies Manager, you will bring:

• Proven experience in legacy giving and individual giving environments
• Experience managing budgets and financial performance for fundraising activities
• Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent IT skills, including CRM database use for segmentation and reporting

The Destitution Caseworker is a full-time post at the JRS UK offices in Wapping with regular visits to our houses in South London. The post-holder will be joining the Advice and Casework Team, a small and diverse team of Caseworkers, Befriending and Practical Support Coordinator and volunteers.

The Advice and Casework Team provides refugee friend led advice and casework, supported by the practical offering of hardship payments, regular mobile phone top-ups, and befriending. We also provide temporary accommodation through our hosting scheme 'At Home’ which has operated since 2012. Additionally, we also offer support through our 10- bedroom house for women and 6 – bedroom house for men in South London.

This role is busy and varied, with a focus on combining accompaniment with advice and practical support and assistance particularly to those in our accommodation project. The postholder will provide in-depth and proactive support on a broad range of issues including destitution and homelessness; access to legal advice; asylum support and health related matters. The postholder will utilise relationships with NGOs and specialist agencies, signposting and making referrals as appropriate.

They will be responsible for managing their own caseload and will support with the smooth running of the accommodation project and other aspects of the wider team.

The postholder should have a good working knowledge and empathy of the issues and challenges faced by destitute asylum-seekers and refugees, with particular focus on destitution, homelessness and access to immigration advice. They will need highly developed listening skills, personal resilience, and emotional maturity to respond to the emotional and practical needs of asylum seekers, accompany them and support them to positively progress with their lives. They need to have and maintain an up-to-date knowledge about the immigration and asylum context as it relates to our work with destitute refugees.

The Destitution Caseworker will be enthusiastic about working in a small faith-based organisation and have a willingness to integrate JRS UK’s ethos of accompaniment in their approach whilst also demonstrating sensitivity in responding to the needs of individuals facing destitution. They will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication skills and will adhere to JRS’ values and commitment to social justice and tackling racism and discrimination. They will work flexibly as a member of the team and organisation and undertake other reasonable duties and responsibilities as needed.

Role Specific Responsibilities

Accommodation:

• Preparing needs assessments and inducting guests and residents.

• Facilitating matching meetings and providing ongoing support during placements including review meetings.

• Coordinating food grants for accommodated refugee friends.

• Being the main point of contact and a supportive presence, providing basic advice and casework support for guests and residents.

• Support with coordinating the move-on process from hosting and housing as appropriate.

• Support hosts and other volunteers including assisting with coordinating and facilitating volunteer meetings.

• Support the facilitating of monthly house meetings and activities.

• Proactively identify and respond to risks and health and safety issues, escalating as appropriate.

• Travelling within London to visit host homes, as well as the properties in South London. Some evening and weekend work is required, but time in lieu will be provided.

General Advice and Casework Support:

• Identify, register, and assess needs of individuals seeking support

• Provide information, advice, and support to individuals on a range of issues including homelessness, access to legal advice, destitution, and asylum support.

• Identify, prioritise and provide pro-active advice and casework support to individuals requiring ongoing support.

• Facilitate access to services and support for individuals through signposting, referrals and ongoing advocacy where appropriate.

• Ensure hardship provisions are distributed, and resources utilised in line with policies, guidance and procedures.

• Maintain and develop positive working relationships and referral pathways with relevant statutory and third sector partners.

• Non-legal form filling.

General:

• Safeguarding concerns are identified, managed and/or escalated as appropriate

• Participate in monthly casework meetings

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Individual Giving Assistant – Supporter Retention & Development, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our fundraising campaigns and projects, helping to retain and maximise the lifetime value of our supporters. You’ll be one of the first points of contact for our donors, providing exceptional supporter care and ensuring every supporter feels valued. Your day-to-day will include:

• Responding to supporter enquiries by phone and email, ensuring all queries are handled efficiently and with care
• Thanking donors and personalising communications to build strong relationships
• Accurately recording and processing donations, including “in memory” gifts, and updating supporter records on our database
• Supporting the delivery of fundraising campaigns, including creating timing plans, checking data, and monitoring stock levels
• Managing invoices and supporting the team with administrative tasks
• Working with colleagues and volunteers to deliver the best possible supporter experience

About The Role 

We’re looking for a dynamic and relationship-driven Corporate Partnerships Manager to initially grow our portfolio of corporate partners through business development, support the Senior Management Team with their existing corporate partners and then take on your own portfolio of corporate partners. This is a key role in strengthening our income generation, expanding our reach, and creating partnerships that support financial wellbeing across the UK.

The opportunity:

You will play an important role in Better Society Capital’s digital and investment operations, helping ensure that our investment data is complete, accurate, and ready to support decision-making across the organisation. As an Investment Data Officer, you will be responsible for managing and improving the quality of BSC’s investment data, both historical and ongoing, through careful review of fund documentation and the systematic entry and validation of information.

This is a detail-oriented role that requires an ability to gain a strong understanding of financial and investment concepts, combined with precision and rigour in data handling. You will work closely with colleagues in the Middle Office and Investment functions to improve and maintain our investment datasets, supporting a range of internal and external reporting needs. Your work will form the foundation for data analysis, portfolio monitoring, and strategic insight across the organisation.

What you will do:

You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of investment data within BSC’s systems and databases, ensuring information is complete, reliable, and consistently structured.

Core Responsibilities

•  Data Entry and Validation: Maintain core investment data, by inputting new investment data accurately into BSC’s systems (e.g. Salesforce and Excel), ensuring that records are complete, consistent, and up to date.

• Document Review: Extract relevant data points from a range of fund documentation (e.g. investment agreements, fund reports, and financial statements), applying financial knowledge to identify and interpret the correct information.

• Data Cleaning and Migration: Review, clean, and standardise historical investment data to align with current data models and reporting structures.

• Research and Data Sourcing: Conduct desk-based research to identify and input publicly available data for funds, intermediaries, and investees (e.g. company information, financial figures, impact data).

• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular checks to identify missing, inconsistent, or incorrect data; support the implementation of data quality standards and validation processes.

• Collaboration and Support: Work with colleagues in the Middle Office and Investment functions to clarify data definitions, resolve discrepancies, and ensure a shared understanding of investment information.

• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation on data definitions, sources, and processes, contributing to a consistent and transparent data environment.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• Deep knowledge and understanding of impact investing in the UK

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Strong understanding of, or ability to upskill quickly in, key financial and investment concepts and data points.

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, with experience managing structured datasets in Excel, Salesforce, or similar platforms.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to manage multiple streams of work methodically and reliably.

• Confident with Excel functions for data manipulation and cleaning.

• Clear written communication skills, with the ability to document findings and data sources carefully.

• A collaborative, team-oriented approach and willingness to learn about data systems and processes.

About the Role

Young Roots is looking for an experienced and creative Trusts & Foundations Fundraiser to play a key role in securing income that transforms the lives of young refugees and asylum seekers. This is a rewarding role leading Trusts and Foundations income generation with structured support from the Head of Fundraising and Development. Join Dementia UK as Public Affairs Manager and help shape our impact as we enter our 2025–30 strategy. You will play a central role in strengthening our political influence and championing the voices of people affected by dementia at the highest levels of decision-making.
