CIEH is looking for a Membership Manager to help us take our membership offer to the next level. You’ll be responsible for driving growth, improving engagement, and ensuring our members feel valued and supported throughout their careers.

In this role you’ll lead on delivering CIEH’s membership strategy, manage our membership budget of over £1m income and ensure that data and insights are used to inform decisions and improve the experience of our members.

This is a new role within the Programmes Directorate to support the expansion of the Trust’s in-house impact evaluation. The Sutton Trust has an excellent reputation in this field with well-developed theories of change, robust evaluation framework and extensive data and feedback from programme participants. This role will be vital for delivering internal evaluation projects of Sutton Trust programmes, supporting with data collection and management across multiple platforms, contributing to and implementing our impact strategy and developing expertise in data analysis, project management, and data management.

The role will report to the Senior Impact and Evaluation Manager, alongside working with the Systems and Evaluation Manager, and others across the Programmes team.

Main duties

• Working with the team to deliver the Trust’s impact strategy. This includes analysing both qualitative and quantitative data on the Trust’s programmes, creating reports to communicate findings, supporting with the collection and management of impact and engagement data, and supporting on external evaluation projects.

• Working with colleagues across the Programmes and Development teams to support with reporting programme numbers and data requests to funders and other key stakeholders.

• Support the Systems and Evaluation Manager with the innovation and development of our Salesforce CRM platform and other data-gathering platforms to ensure the ongoing collection and maintenance of high-quality data.

• Work across multiple data collection platforms that gather personal data on applicants to programmes and post-programme feedback data, to ensure processes are effective, efficient, and GDPR-compliant.

• Develop expertise in Salesforce, data analysis, and evaluation methodology via project work, proactively seeking development opportunities, by keeping up to date with developments in the sector, and attending external conferences.

• Working with external stakeholders and delivery partners to deliver training and communication about the charity’s impact and data systems.

• Supporting the creation and development of Theories of Change for the Programmes team.

• Other duties as necessary from time to time.

Person Specification

Volunteer officer – North Middlesex Hospital

About the role

You’ll be the procurement lead for the charity, responsible for providing guidance and support for procurement activities, leading on tender exercises and managing the charity’s contracts register. Ovacome Support Services Officer, reporting to the Programmes Manager.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about supporting those affected by ovarian cancer through a people-centred approach. You must be experienced in providing support services, well-organised and approachable. You will be an important member of our staff team.

Pay scale: £28,500 – £33,000 per year (full time), pro-rata if part time. All our salaries our benchmarked based on the requirements of the Role Description and comparable roles in the charity sector. Salaries are subject to an annual review; we also award an annual cost of living increase.

Hours: 21 hours (part time) to 35 hours (full time) per week, with flexibility around core operational hours. We offer flexible hours to accommodate caring responsibilities. Core hours of work are between 8.30am to 5.30pm. Wednesday is a core working day.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management

• Provide tailored, high-quality stewardship to a range of large and medium-sized Trusts & Foundations.
• Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and build relationships with new Trusts and Foundations to further grow this income stream.
• Prioritise research to constantly develop future pipeline.
• Work with Head of Philanthropy and other senior stakeholders in engaging potential funders and managing strategic Trusts partners.

Write applications and reports

• Develop compelling funding applications for Trusts and occasionally statutory funders, articulating Resurgo's vision and strategy to persuasively engage new donors with a focus on raising five and six-figure grants.
• Stay ahead of sector trends, media, and political context to market Resurgo's interventions in a compelling way.
• Develop general communications on the work of Resurgo to inspire and update our Trust audience.
• Produce reports and updates on the impact of our work for funders in a timely manner. 

Data Management and Monitoring

• Update our internal database (Salesforce) with all donor interactions, donations and other details in a timely and efficient manner and with strong attention to detail, and analyse data to give insights' and drive future activity.
• Manage the Trusts & Foundations pipeline and report on income and other KPIs, and ensure Trusts & Foundations team meets monthly targets and deadlines.

Line Management

In this role, you’ll ensure our digital data from web, email, social media, and campaigns is accurate, reliable, and turned into clear, actionable insights that empower teams to make faster, evidence-based decisions. 

You will manage the implementation and quality assurance of tracking across platforms, monitor SEO and on-site search performance, and support the measurement and evaluation of campaigns and experiments. Working closely with Product, Content, and Marketing teams, you’ll embed robust measurement practices from the start of projects to help drive continuous improvement. 

You will be responsible for designing and building comprehensive data dashboards that combine digital data from multiple sources, to deliver accessible visual insights for various teams. You will set up, validate, and troubleshoot all data tracking and tagging across our platforms to ensure the highest level of data integrity and accuracy.

Additionally, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing data literacy across the organisation by providing guidance and training. Expected travel for this role is, quarterly in-person team meetings, 1–2 all-staff away days per year, plus additional travel to the London office and external meetings as required.

Your new role

As People and Learning Coordinator, you'll provide high-quality administrative support across the full employee lifecycle. From recruitment and onboarding to payroll and learning & development, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations and effective staff engagement. You'll manage systems, track training, support internal communications, and contribute to people-focused projects that drive continuous improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

We're looking for someone with:

• Significant experience in HR administration or a People Services function
• Strong understanding of employment policies, legislation, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across diverse teams
• High-level organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems (e.g. IRIS or similar)

Desirable: CIPD Level 3 qualification and experience in the charity sector.

About the Role

As Team Leader, you will be directly involved in managing a 4 bed specialist short stay Home and looking after children aged 12 to 18 years old with complex needs; including Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Mental Health Disorders, Substance Dependencies and Learning Disabilities.

Whether shift leading or joining in with daily activities, you will also share in the leadership of the team, helping to develop staff by modelling high standards of professionalism. 

The successful candidate will have:

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care or equivalent
•  GCSE English and Maths grades A-C.
• One year’s experience working at a level of responsibility with children and young people in a residential setting.
• An understanding of the regulatory framework relating to the provision of residential services for children and young people.
• Good understanding of the needs and risks regarding children in care.
• An understanding of trauma  informed practice.
• Experience of taking on leadership responsibilities in a teamwork setting.
• Ability to build genuine and trusting relationships with young people maintaining at all times high personal and professional standards.
• Excellent communication and team working skills.
• Ability to work shifts, including alternate weekend working and occasional sleep ins.
