Who are we looking for?
You will be a determined and passionate individual who wants to make a real difference to critically injured patients in London. You will have experience in developing and delivering robust supporter engagement, acquisition and retention campaigns.
The purpose of the Senior Direct Marketing Officer’s role is to deliver and evolve the acquisition and retention strategy, inspiring the people of London to become long-term supporters of the Charity.
Working closely with the Senior Direct Marketing Manager, you will manage campaign activity, from briefing through to execution, as well as identifying opportunities for improvement within the programme, particularly with regards to retention and delivery of the supporter journey.
You will be responsible for multi-channel donor acquisition, retention, upgrade and cross-sell campaigns across digital channels, print, telephone and provide occasional support to our successful Face to Face programme. You will take ownership of the delivery of our supporter journey for our regular donors, cash, lottery and raffle players – with huge scope to make a big impact in this area.
The role is offered on a full time, permanent basis. Although the post is based at Mansell Street, LAA offers a hybrid working arrangement.

Location
Our light, spacious head office is based in a fantastic location in central London with views over St James’s Park and close to the West End. - Brief internal teams and work with the Digital Marketing Officers to create copy and content for ad creatives and our always-on social content calendar
- Work with the other Digital Marketing Managers to implement a cohesive content marketing approach with shared reach, conversion aspirations and goals, and to ensure the seamless tracking and use of data between platforms
- Own the brand awareness and re-targeting campaigns within Meta
- Contribute to shared marketing and fundraising strategies, including audience and segmentation development, multi-channel acquisition campaigns and brand and health information campaigns
- Grow and steward our network of digital influencers
- Participate in marketing campaign and creative concept development sessions
- Brief and manage external agencies
- Report on The Charity’s overall social media health and use analytical tools to make recommendations on a campaign-by-campaign level

The Operations and Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in the ISG, overseeing both organisational operations and marketing efforts. This position ensures the maintenance of high standards, adherence to regulations, best practices, and organisational efficiency. Duties and Key relationships Marketing and Communications
This is a new role in the Marketing and Communications department and is responsible for the media relations of the Charity.
PR and Media Relations
• To develop relevant media contacts, as well as contacts in the sector, to maximise the reach and coverage of key communications campaigns as well as wider organisational projects.
• Produce creative copy written for a variety of audience groups which champions and shows best practice of our tone of voice
• Develop and support in house PR roll out
· Work with external PR agency on selected press releases where relevant

FareShare Midlands is the region’s largest food redistribution charity, fighting food poverty and hunger by tackling waste. We source good quality food that is surplus to requirements from the food industry. An army of volunteers help redistribute this food to over 500 frontline charities and community groups such as school breakfast clubs, community centres and organisations supporting those who are homeless, unemployed, socially isolated and recovering from addiction. These organisations provide meals and food parcels to over 67,000 vulnerable people every week. We also support people through our Employability programmes, enabling them to learn skills and find rewarding work – some for the first time.
Hunger is a growing issue in the UK and while there is surplus food that is otherwise going to waste, we believe that this food should be used to feed people first.

Undertake duties to ensure information regarding FareShare Midlands employability programmes is promoted and shared via a range of business and social media platforms. ‘As part of our mission, FareShare Midlands is delighted to be able to deliver our I-Can employability programme as part of Birmingham City Council’s PURE project. The PURE Project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
