Main responsibilities will include:

Administration

• Be responsible for securing contracts by confirming booking information and working with the Head of Budgets, Contracts & Policy to ensure freelance trainer contracts and Service Agreements are in place

• Oversee the general administration of all APD functions including responding to customer queries and feedback

•  Process course bookings made via Thinkific and other platforms, ensuring all requirements are noted and passed on appropriately

Finance

• Be responsible for APD budgets including raising sales invoices, reconciling payments and managing deferred income

• Follow anti-money laundering procedures to ensure APD sales are compliant with legislation

• Ensure all finance and operations processes and procedures are rigorously implemented in collaboration with the Finance & Operations team

• Produce budget forecasts for APD and provide monthly updates on current financial position to the Deputy CEO and Head of Budgets, Contracts & Policy

• Chase debtors and regularly report any overdue payments to the Finance team

Strategy

• Contribute to the APD growth strategy through ideas and practical solutions

• Work with the APD team and Deputy CEO in the development of new programmes, routes to market and audience development

Communications

• Help to maintain strong communication channels with all partner organisations and customers

• Provide administrative support in developing regional networks, contacts and partners

• Assist with the engagement of employers and partners for projects and programmes

Administration and Legal Compliance

• Maintain positive professional relationships with our participants, partners and stakeholders •

We are looking for a Finance Officer at Cruse Bereavement Support. This role is part of a small Finance team that supports the work of Headway - the brain injury association. The role is line managed by the Finance Manager and liaises with every team within the organisation.

What you will do

As a Senior Finance Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the purchase and sales ledgers for both the charity and retail company, supporting colleagues, and resolving queries from suppliers and customers. You will monitor the purchase invoice mailbox and online purchase invoice accounts, ensuring that all invoices are downloaded promptly and passed on to relevant colleagues for authorisation.

You will be responsible for recording all purchase and sales invoices on our accounts system, Exchequer and ensuring that all bank transactions are entered on a timely basis. You will also be responsible for preparing and entering key monthly journals, including but not limited to charity and retail income, charity merchandise sales, depreciation, credit card expenditure, pre-paid rent and service charges. The majority of this work will use our Excel linked auto-loaders, but some manual entry will also be required.

You will complete monthly supplier account reconciliations and be responsible for raising any concerns or discrepancies with the Finance Manager.

You will maintain the stock system for the online merchandise shop, updating it with new stock and prices, using the information from the system to create the monthly cost of sales journal.

The Senior Finance Officer will work with the Finance Manager to ensure that all monthly and month-end routines are completed in line with team and organisational deadlines and complete any other finance tasks that may be required.

A leading literacy charity is looking for a Finance Assistant to join its small, closeknit team. The charity empowers children, young people and adults from disadvantaged communities with the literacy skills they need to succeed. You will need to work from the office in Vauxhall at least one day per week, but can work from home the remainder of the week. Salary £25,000 - £28,000 per annum.

This is a permanent, full time role (35 hours per week). You will report to the Head of Finance and work closely with the other members in the Finance Team.

The post holder's main duties and responsibilities are:

• Undertake month-end bank reconciliations, monitor balances and make transfers when required
• Process bank transactions including depositing cheques
• Check bank receipts daily, matching to income expected and liaising with other departments as necessary to ensure they're coded correctly
• Take card payments over the phone, and work with the other finance team members to process cheques and cash
• Import sales invoices from our CRM system (Salesforce) into accounting system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central), and carry out reconciliations of income
• Chase outstanding debts and manage aged debtors, including working with the Head of Finance and department leads as necessary
• Process and input staff expenses
• Process and input purchase invoices, ensuring they're authorised and coded correctly
• Liaise with suppliers and be first point of contact for accounts payable queries
• Check and reconcile bank payments daily and liaise with other team members and other departments on managing payments
• Process payments to HMRC, and other ad hoc payments as required
• Prepare Gift Aid claims and submit to HMRC
• Support the audit process as required

Windsor Road service offers 11 beds to people experiencing mental ill health.  We are a CQC registered residential care home. We offer individual one to one interventions and sessions such as social anxiety, anxiety, finance and budgeting, positive self-image, building self-esteem, support with diet and nutrition, healthy eating, sleep hygiene, DBT skills, building resilience, life skills, solution-based therapy, stress management etc. We offer a range of activities in our service planner including a daily coffee morning, a ‘here and now’ group, community gardening, cooking, arts and crafts, social inclusion and family and friends’ days.  We support our residents with daily living skills where this is needed, such as support with shopping and cleaning tasks, this could include prompting or supporting alongside them. We also work closely with other agencies and our residents wider care teams, so good communication skills are required. And of course, all of this is recorded on our information management systems, so good record keeping and documentation is also essential. Our service consists of 8 24/7 Recovery Workers, a Service Manager and Registered Manager.

We know that recovery can look and feel very different to each and every one of us. But we also know that if we provide the right support, at the right time, we can inspire recovery nationwide and that recovery is possible for everyone. That’s where you come in. Responsible for helping and inspiring the people who use our services to achieve independence in the community, we’ll rely on you to work with them to come up with a person-centred support plan that will see them achieve their goals and aspirations, as part of your key worker role. We are looking for 2 talented, creative and experienced Events Officers to work in our already established team. 

UKIM is one of the premier faith based civil society organisations working in the UK to serve the needs of the Muslim community in the UK. UKIM is going through a major organisational reform to re-establish itself as an effective civil society organisation and fulfil its mission. The reform includes major changes at governance and executive level and relocating its Head Office from London to Oldham.

Main Responsibilities:

• To assist in the delivery of UKIM’s events programme across the UK and be part of the team that supports the national leadership of the organisation in delivering events (including fundraising and marketing events) as per agreed strategy and plan.

• To assist in securing event funding and ensuring monitoring and evaluation of all events is conducted on a regular basis. 

• To assist in developing event strategies and operational plans, building relationships and liaising with partners and local Branches.

• To be effective member of the Events Department by assisting in development of and following clear procedures and processes for meeting strategic objectives of UKIM.

• To arrange and manage all events within UKIM at a local, regional and national level.

• To assist in creating a professional, end to end approach for all UKIM events, ensuring consistency across the whole event lifecycle, including documentation, feedback and review process.

• To assist the Events manager in agreeing an annual Events schedule with the board of Trustees across all areas of UKIM.

• To assist in implementing, managing and developing Project strategy, operations, risk management strategy, monitoring & evaluation systems and budgets ensuring they are in accordance with UKIM’s global policies, principles and approach.

• To assist the Events Manager in line managing all volunteer or employed event managers and staff in field or regional offices.

• To assist in effective management, support and development of staff and volunteers involved in Event implementation.

• To visit events and branches country-wide to oversee and evaluate events and to encourage, advise and monitor staff.

• To ensure that UKIM’s financial, administrative and HR policies are adhered to in all events and by all staff responsible.

• To proactively seek opportunities for funding through networking and oversee the writing of event proposals. 

• To participate in implementation of donor-funded events, ensuring delivery meets donor requirements and UKIM’s international policies, principles and development approach. 

• To ensure the reports for completed events are received from implementing partners on time and are analysed at the Head Office for evaluating each partner’s performance and to retain appropriate audit trail.

• To ensure event management and operation information is communicated quickly and efficiently to the Executive Director and Board of Trustees.

• To participate in and carry out annual staff appraisals as appropriate.

• To assist in diligently managing an agreed expenditure budget, taking careful measure to report any unexpected costs in good time as and when appropriate.

This role is an exciting opportunity to help support the mission of the charity through a programme of income-generating corporate cooking teambuilding challenges. We have been running these successfully for several years and are now looking to replicate the model outside London, starting with a pilot in central Birmingham.

You will facilitate and run our Food Invention Challenges in a kitchen facility in central Birmingham, collaborating with corporate teams, local stakeholders and the venue.

We are seeking a people-oriented person with great communication skills, who is looking for a flexible role that has the potential to grow. If you have a love of food, strong organisational skills and enjoy creating fun and engaging teambuilding sessions, then this is the role for you!

Benefits: We offer 26.5 working days (this includes 3.5 days for the Christmas close down) pro rata based on FTE/working hours.
