• Identify and engage potential corporate partners aligned with our mission and values.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate partners, ensuring excellent stewardship and ongoing engagement.

Qualifications and Experience:

About the role

Your key purpose will be to support the Individual Giving Manager in the provision of excellence in supporter care for individuals supporting all fundraising activities and projects related to Shooting Star Children’s Hospices Individual Giving programme, Gifts in Memory fundraising and ensuring Shooting Star Children’s Hospices families who choose to fundraise are effectively supported in their activity. This role will support the charities appeal fundraising programme, working with the Head of Supporter Engagement and Individual Giving Manager on supporter stewardship.

The Supporter Care Co-ordinator will also provide efficient and effective key administrative support to the wider fundraising team, optimising income generation proactivity cross-team.

The Role

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a wonderful children charity to recruit for a Community and Corporate Fundraiser to join a small and ambitious team in Wandsworth (South London).

This could be a fantastic opportunity for someone with that experience or someone with all the right skills and approach who wants to develop a career in the charity sector – perhaps from a sales or marketing background.

This role will be part-time (25hrs) or full-time.

As a Community and Corporate Fundraiser you:

will support the Chair of Trustees in ensuring the Charity’s further development and ambitious growth

• will take strategic and operational lead responsibility across (South) London and focused on Tooting/Wandsworth for the Corporate and Community Fundraising of the Charity, (community partnerships/corporate sponsorship) utilising your existing and new contacts, as well as events and challenges, individual donations, supporter engagement, lottery initiative, collecting boxes etc.

• will support our profile and links with current and potential partner organisations and take a key role in growing the profile and reputation of the charity.
• will recruit, manage and support a small but growing team of volunteer fundraisers and local ambassadors

In order to be successful, you must have experienced:

• Ideally, community/corporate fundraising experience in another charity or part of the voluntary sector. Or with the skills outlined above and developed in sales, marketing or other work experience
• Team leadership experience and supporting individual and project performance
• Excellent Communication skills both verbally and in writing and good IT skills
• Able to plan and implement fundraising events and initiatives ensuring supporter buy in and the careful monitoring of costs and income to ensure event profit and viability
•  Good at leveraging support from social media and other marketing and PR initiatives

Salary: £25,000-£30,000 per annum, pro rata

Contract type: Permanent, part-time 25hrs a week or full time hrs considered

About the role

A new and exciting opportunity to work with us across the England North region supporting our Liveable Cities and Towns and Paths for Everyone programmes, to encourage walking, wheeling and cycling to new and different users. 

As a Project Officer, you will organise and deliver engagement activities with local community groups, community leaders, businesses, schools and volunteers on our community led infrastructure and National Cycle Network projects. 

You will work with diverse groups within the community who may not currently use the National Cycle Network and enable them to use and look after their local route. 

Candidates should be based within the geographical area with regular travel expected across the region.

You will have excellent organisational skills, which will be demonstrated in your experience of planning and leading group workshops, organising and running events. 

 As a confident and clear communicator, you will have good people skills with the ability to build relationships with ease across a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds and abilities. 

 You will be skilled in motivating and enthusing others, with ability to deliver, engage and work well with a range of people, organisations or communities.

Do you have previous experience within fundraising or marketing? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fundraising Engagement Officer to join our Community Fundraising Team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract at the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association!

You'll be at the heart of our fundraising efforts, recruiting passionate supporters and managing event logistics to maximise impact.

Assisting with the delivery of our Community Fundraising strategy, you will focus on marketing our portfolio of Community Fundraising products to ensure we meet recruitment, income and expenditure targets.

You will deliver our campaigns using various channels like digital, telephone, face-to-face and print to spread the word and track progress. Contributing to our social media and promotional plans will also be part of your remit.

Maintaining our community fundraising web pages and providing clear information through our email journeys to support individuals will be crucial. You'll also be required to attend some of our fundraising events, ensuring every supporter has a positive experience both leading up to and on the day.

Experience in either fundraising or sales/account management, with the ability and motivation to work to targets.

Experience in devising, implementing, and monitoring systems and procedures, coupled with excellent time management skills.

The ability to research, analyse, and collate data is essential, as is a track record of coordinating projects and creating promotional marketing plans.
