We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a real difference to the lives of children living with serious illness/ disability or mental health crises in hospital by making our case to donors, trusts and corporate organisations to fund our work in children’s hospitals.

We have an opportunity to fill a brand-new role within the charity - a bid writer/fundraiser to research, design, write and submit detailed applications for capital and revenue funds to support our services. This will be an exceptional opportunity for a gifted and driven individual to build new networks and to establish, develop and maintain new fundraising initiatives for the charity.

You will directly support our participants for the benefit of Railway Children, so that they are highly impressed by the customer experience they receive from us. We believe that every interaction with the Railway Children should be a positive one for our supporters and you will provide that the service our supporters deserve to enhance their relationship with Railway Children and encourage them to persuade others to support Railway Children too.

The role also plays a pivotal part in making Railway Children more data and insight driven in the way we fundraise and communicate with supporters. You will take a lead in mapping supporter journeys within the events programme as well as researching new corporate supporters and working on employee engagement.

SUDEP Action is the only UK charity focused on preventing epilepsy-related deaths. We have the only epilepsy bereavement service freely available to anyone suddenly bereaved by epilepsy (including SUDEP). By representing the voices of those who have died and who are bereaved, we aim to learn from deaths, and use research, policy and campaigns to raise awareness and take action that helps save lives. 

Working both independently and with the wider team you will deliver a high-quality community fundraising service. We’re looking for someone who has worked in a fundraising department and/or similar role before, preferably in the charity sector. Engaging confidently with people and feeling comfortable in adapting your approach to different audiences is a key skill for this role - whether they are major donors, corporates or community fundraisers. This is particularly important as many of our supporters & fundraisers are bereaved.

Building positive supporter connections is at the heart of what we do at SUDEP Action, so setting a positive example of this through your plans and actions, and demonstrating the importance of maintaining strong, personalised supporter relationships is key. You’ll know how to follow processes to record, monitor and evaluate supporters’ engagement with community fundraising activities, so this feeds back into how the charity operates.

Much of the charity’s income comes from our motivated and passionate supporters, so this role is a key part of income generation. The successful candidate will be able to build on current processes and successes to grow our engagement across all fundraising activities, platforms and campaigns. Experience of bid/grant writing would be desirable.  

We are looking for a Legacy and In Memory Lead for an incredible hospice, to be responsible for managing the implementation of the legacy (gifts in Wills) and in memory strategies and developing annual delivery plans.

This is a Hybrid role with 4 days a week in the Essex office.

The Role
Lead the delivery of planned activities and promotion of legacy and in memory fundraising products to achieve budget net income and grow the active support base.

Project manage all elements required to deliver planned activities.

Work closely with the Marketing team to develop on and offline marketing materials for legacy and in memory fundraising activities.

Support with line management of the Supporter Care Assistant where necessary.

The Candidate
Significant demonstrable and relevant experience of in memory and/or legacy fundraising.

Experience of developing and promoting in memory and/or legacy fundraising products.

Experience of using a variety of on- and offline channels to deliver successful marketing campaigns to acquire and develop donors / customers.

Experience of managing income and expenditure budgets.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Centre Fundraising Organiser to join the fundraising team at our Lanarkshire centre in Airdrie. 

As an integral member of the team, you will be based at the centre and assist in the delivery of a wide range of operational and administrative support, as well as social media activities.

Your responsibilities

• First point of contact for enquiries from community audiences and suppliers.

• Respond to enquiries from the public, volunteers, fundraisers, etc. (by phone, mail and in person), including responding to requests for information, materials and more.

• Refer enquiries to the Centre Fundraiser where appropriate.

• Provide and facilitate supporters with a choice of how they fundraise, and work with Maggie’s in line with the national strategy and plan.

This is a demanding role in a fast-paced environment where priorities change frequently. There will be a requirement to work irregular hours and travel locally.

About You:

You will have experience of training and presenting as well as supporting Face to Face campaigns ideally within a third sector fundraising role. Key to this role will be the ability to build, manage and develop relationships.

About The Role

• Provide continual training and compliance monitoring support to our Face to Face partners in the execution of all door, private Sites and events fundraising, this includes leading on developing new opportunities in conjunction with St John events.
• Oversee and collaboratively work with our Telephone Fundraising partners on their training and compliance of all deliverables such as welcome calls, upgrades, reactivations and other fundraising campaigns – includes caller listening
• Oversee regular audits of agents, to monitor against key auditory compliance and performance metrics.
• Manage relationships with our Face to Face partners with training, development and materials, and performance reviews. Monitoring various forms or training and reviewing inductions in line with our agreed contract.
• Build a strong knowledge of all areas of St John Ambulance’s work, carrying out continual research and gathering information, case studies and photos for use in training booklets, scripts and materials. Where appropriate, to liaise with external agencies such as designers and copywriters.

The role is essential to delivering the charities income targets for Trusts and Foundations and developing long term relationships. In addition, the post holder will support the Head of Income Generation with approaching, reporting, and maintaining Trust and Foundation relationships for major appeals.

he Fundraising Officer will work as part of the Fundraising team and focus on delivering income targets from trusts and foundations. The role is responsible for growing LDCT’s trust and foundation income by increasing the amount and longevity of funding from current supporters, as well as building a portfolio of new trusts and foundations through research, maintaining a pipeline of prospects, updating the Funding Matrix and making successful applications. Building good relationships with new funders including regular reporting, as well as good stewardship of existing funders, is an important part of the role.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Delivering on fundraising priorities and targets for trusts and foundations income, including our current and future major appeals.
2. Researching, identifying, and prioritising appropriate trusts and foundations to maintain and convert a pipeline of new, prospective trusts and foundations.
3. Working with colleagues across the organisation to help shape projects for funding and creating strong Cases for Support to ensure effective applications.
4. Writing and submitting high quality targeted funding applications.
5. Maintaining an effective stewardship programme for trusts and foundations including appropriate accurate records, ensuring the fundraising e-Tapestry database is kept up-todate and that fundraising income is processed efficiently with timely thank you letters and acknowledgements.
6. Managing relationships with existing and new funders to encourage maximum funding, multi-year funding awards and repeat funding.
7. Monitoring outcomes, updating the Funding Matrix and producing timely reports and information as required externally by funders and internally for Management reporting.
8. Promoting the support of funders through press releases and social media posts.
9. Adhering to standards of fundraising best practise as set out in the Institute of Fundraising’s Code of Practise and ensuring all activities comply with relevant Data Protection obligations and any other legislation

Contract - Permanent - following 6 months probation

The CO will work with the whole community of Thames View and Barking Riverside wards (and across the wider borough of Barking & Dagenham) to transform the area via environmental action, into a place that people are proud of, where they can see a positive and exciting future and feel able to influence and shape the wider changes that are taking place due to development / regeneration.

On a day-to-day basis, the CO will have the overall responsibility for delivering environmental action, including litter picks, supporting volunteers, ensuring that activities are delivered on time and within budget and that targets are met. We Are Survivors are looking for new Senior Trauma Informed Therapists to come and join our growing Therapy Services team.

The organisation has an ambitious strategy to ensure that #NoMaleSurvivorsIsLeftBehind and is looking for new members of staff to help us achieve this.

In the role, you will help us to provide key services across Greater Manchester. The therapy team is made up of therapists from various modalities to support men and boys to access the services they need.

Colostomy UK is a national charity that offers support and advice to people who have had stoma surgery (ostomates) and those who care about them. We help ostomates to return to sports, hobbies and other activities after surgery, and give them the confidence to return to a full life and take on fresh challenges. As the Fundraising Executive you will work to grow income through developing our community engagement, attracting, building and managing relationships with a range of supporters (individual donors and fundraisers, community groups, local businesses, volunteers etc). The Individual Giving Officer will play a crucial role in nurturing relationships with individuals, to give their donations and their time, to make a difference to the people with dyslexia that we support.

· Strong data management and analysis skills

· Good knowledge of current data protection/GDPR regulation.

· Good IT skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, databases (currently Donorfy and Act!)

·Previous experience working in a charity/non-profit
