CFG promotes remote-first working, although we do have office space at our registered address in Southwark, SE London for those team members who prefer an office setting. The role will be to support, curate and deliver opportunities for a community of UK’s brightest engineering and technology entrepreneurs and business leaders (startups and scale-ups) to enable them to advance their entrepreneurial journeys and to provide them with opportunities to flourish. In joining the Enterprise Hub, the individual will work to support delivery of an ambitious programme of community engagement activities including monthly ecosystem meetups in London, developing new activities for our co-working space and for our communities, supporting our regional teams with the development (and possible delivery) of events, and helping to strengthen our alumni support.

Main purpose of the role
Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, this post will lead on the development and delivery of Thrive’s community and public fundraising whilst working collaboratively with the rest of fundraising team to maximise and develop opportunities over various income streams.

This is a newly created role working within our Fundraising & Communication Dept.
Role summary
Working within our fundraising and communications team, you will support the management of our communications portfolio of work. Maintaining our consistent brand, you will lead on digital and print asset development. You will lead on supporter communications, assisting the rest of the team to raise the profile and bring new supporters into the organisation. You will manage our social channels, website content and newsletter, and developing creative assets and materials for our external work both in the UK and the US.

Our team in Energy Saving Trust manages the national Home Energy Scotland service on behalf of the Scottish Government. JOB PURPOSE
This role will support the planning and delivery of digital projects and campaigns that aim to raise awareness of the Start Network, build engagement across membership and support the Start team to work in effective ways. The postholder will create, edit and share digital content, manage online communities and will support the planning, development, maintenance and management of digital platforms.
The post-holder will produce and edit a wide range of digital content, including written content and digital media. The post-holder will also support the day-to-day engagement of stakeholders on digital platforms, such as social media, collaboration platforms and other engagement tools. The post-holder will have a good knowledge of best practise in digital while being able to use data to evidence the effectiveness of content and campaigns.
The post-holder will also manage or support new digital developments, such as data visualisation, that will increase stakeholder engagement in our work. Working closely with stakeholders and colleagues, the post holder will support projects to ensure they meet business and audience needs and that they are delivered on time and on budget.
This role will also coordinate third party suppliers in this process.
This role will be full time, based in the UK or another country of Start Network’s operations with occasional travel required.

Coordinate the day-to-day communications of Start Network programmes on social media channels. Take part in planning and coordination of content for all social media channels, in line with digital engagement strategy.
