We’re looking for an experienced individual to join our Community Fundraising team based in Wales as Community Fundraising Hub Manager, this is part of a job share role covering our North West, Northern Ireland and North Wales hub, the role will have the responsibility for the Wales and part of the North West area of the hub. You will join us working 21 hours per week on a permanent basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £24,817 (pro rata of £41,363) annum plus excellent benefits.

The Role 

JLGB are recruiting a Finance & Fundraising Coordinator who will play a vital role in helping the charity achieve its financial, fundraising and organisational objectives. Supporting the Director of Operations & Finance, the role is essential for the smooth running of the charity’s finances, collaborating with teams across JLGB, as well as volunteers and external suppliers. With some support from JLGB’s administration team, you will be undertaking all financial transactions including payment runs, bank and income reconciliations. Managing our donor database, ensuring that Gift Aid is collected regularly. Responsibilities will include:

• Processing and reconciling various financial administrative tasks, including petty cash and incoming card payments (via stripe and other card processors)

StandOut Coach (based in prison)

As a StandOut Coach, you will be attached to one of the three London male prisons we partner with but can expect to work in all of them. You will work alongside a Lead Coach to deliver the StandOut Programme. The programme is delivered in two parts: first an intensive group course in prison, followed by ongoing support of participants whilst they wait for release, through one-to-one coaching and workshops.

You will be key to StandOut’s unique through-the-gate approach, supporting men as they prepare for release and working closely with the Community Team as they support people to find the stability they need to realise their potential, achieve their goals and rebuild their lives after prison. 

This role would be ideal for someone with a good understanding of the challenges faced by those caught up in the criminal justice system, gained either working in prison, through personal experience or by a range of work outside prison.

Job description

This position is full-time, permanent, and based in the ADI office in London. Some international travel for several days at a time will be required. Remote or international applicants may be considered for this role depending on circumstances.

The Bone Cancer Research Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Fundraising Assistant to join our fabulous Fundraising Team and to act as a first point of contact for all fundraising enquiries.

As an integral member of the Fundraising team, the Fundraising Assistant will support the delivery of a range of successful fundraising activities across the organisation, in order to maximise income for the Bone Cancer Research Trust. From head shaves to skydives, dress-down days to marathons, you will provide excellent stewardship support and help us to develop solid and long-lasting relationships with our supporters, groups and companies based across the UK.

We’re recruiting a Rehabilitation Trainer & Behaviour Advisor to join our Behaviour team based at our rehoming centre in Southampton. This is a really exciting opportunity to join Blue Cross’ growing Behaviour Service. 

More about the role 

We are looking for a talented behaviour advisor who has a thorough understanding of reward-based training techniques, who will be working with pets in our care (be it on site, in foster, or post adoption). Working under the guidance of an Animal Behaviourist, you will be implementing and facilitating rehabilitation programmes practically, as well as advising and coaching centre teams who work with the pets in our care.

No two days will be the same – from working with an owner with a problem they are having with their pet to team training, to supporting a pet on site, to collaborating with your peers across Blue Cross – if you are looking for a dynamic role which helps people and pets and is at the forefront of animal welfare, then this might be the role for you. 

This role is on a six-month fixed term contract working two days per week (12.5 hours) on Thursdays and Fridays, 9am till 4.15pm. There will be occasions to meet the needs of the pets and people to sometimes travel to other sites, and to undertake duties outside of these hours. 

About you 

You will be a confident, adaptable and compassionate animal handler and trainer who enjoys working with a diverse range of people and pets. With excellent communication skills and an understanding of animal behaviour, you will be skilled at teaching and demonstrating training techniques and advising our teams and pet owners on some behaviour issues. In addition, you will thrive working collaboratively with others and have a desire to improve the experience of the pets in our care. 

 
Knowledge, skills, and experience   

• Demonstrable experience of: 

• Pet behaviour and training techniques, and evidence of success in understanding pet behaviour / training problems

• Carrying out behaviour and training programmes for dogs, across a variety of breeds and temperaments 

• Developing training programmes and delivering to owners / caregivers that are practical and realistic for a pet owner to understand and undertake independently 

• Full UK driving licence 

• The ability to demonstrate, understand and apply our Blue Cross values

• Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC) standard of Animal Training Instructor (ATI) qualification or working towards

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)

Role: Full-time, Permanent

Location: London, W1 (On-site, 3 to 4 days in office and 1 to 2 days WFH)

About the Role

Join as a Relationship Manager and become a key player in managing a variety of dynamic and impactful accounts within the organisation. You'll work hand-in-hand with our dedicated team, personally overseeing a portfolio of High Net Worth (HNW) donors and their charitable contributions, as well as several Collective Funds accounts. Your role will encompass financial administration, client engagement, due diligence, and crafting innovative strategies to enhance donor stewardship. Community Coach

As a member of the Community Team, you will provide vital support to people who have completed our course in prison and are now in the community working to find the stability they need to realise their potential, achieve their goals and rebuild their lives after prison.

This is an exciting time to join our Community Team as we look to broaden and deepen the support we offer participants as they leave prison. You will help shape our offer to participants; drawing on your experiences and creativity and working with our other Community Coaches to trial new approaches.

Partnership working plays an important part of the role, and you’ll get to connect with employers, partners and statutory organisations to support participants as they build a life after prison.

This role would be ideal for someone with a good understanding of the challenges faced by those caught up in the criminal justice system, gained through personal experience, paid work or volunteering. This role does not require the successful candidate to work in prison or clear prison security to hold keys. However, if you are interested in working in prison, please indicate this in your cover letter.

We Are Survivors are looking for therapists to come and join our ever-growing Community Services team.

The organisation has an ambitious strategy to ensure that #NoMaleSurvivorsIsLeftBehind and is looking for several new members of staff to help us achieve this.

You will help us to provide key services across Greater Manchester. The Community Team is made of Therapists and Community Development Workers to support men and boys to access the services they need. The roles we are recruiting are to grow this from our central hub wider across Greater Manchester.

We are looking a practical, passionate and nurturing person to join our Community & Engagement team as our Youth Officer. In this role you will cultivate a supportive community of youth leaders and young volunteers, and run workshops for schools and youth groups. You will help 11-24 year olds to develop their knowledge, skills and passion for nature, and fight against climate and eco-anxiety through an inspiring nature restoration project. This role is partly funded by the Natural Heritage Lottery Fund, through a project run in partnership with Action for Conservation.

If you have strong ecology and land-based skills, the ability to create and hold inclusive and welcoming spaces for young people, and believe in putting young people at the heart of the conservation sector, we want to hear from you. This role is 22.5 hours a week, with flexibility over how this is spread across the week, however some evening and weekend work is required.
