CVAA UK is a membership organisation supporting not-for-profit adoption agencies across the UK who specialise in finding homes for children in care. Over 3000 children in the UK need adoption each year because they cannot remain at home or with family members. The CVAA Practice Programme delivers 30 or more online courses each year to those working in the sector, primarily social workers. The programme has developed a strong reputation for attracting a range of subject experts to deliver cost effective, engaging and useful training. The full programme is listed on the CVAA UK website and inlcudes topics such as LGBTQ+ parenting; therapy for children; identity formation; racism and anti-racism; parenting courses; theraplay and many more.
Due to a restructure of the team, we are now looking for a Training Manager who can oversee the delivery of the programme from mid to late July 2024. Initially fixed term, it is anticipated that this post will become permanent.
The Training Manager will work with the Head of Practice Development and the Programme Administrator to ensure that the courses are full, delivered effectively and evaluated. Part of the role will also be to source new trainers and support the creation of the programme into 2025.
The CVAA team work remotely across the UK so location of the postholder is not a barrier to recruitment as long as long as they can travel occasionally and come into London for team days. The team is small, diverse and dynamic. Experience of project management or delivery of training or events is more important than knowledge of adoption or children's social care. The post holder will also work closely with the HODAR to help inform the development of departmental strategies.
The successful candidate will have significant demonstrable and relevant experience of in memory and/or legacy fundraising and developing in memory products. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fundraiser, working full-time on-site. The Fundraiser who will play an integral role within our team, working with the CEO, and senior management team, responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, organising events and campaigns, maintaining donor relationships, and researching and identifying new funding opportunities, building a strong pipeline of core and restricted funding, as well as donations and gifts.

We are seeking a Fundraising Coordinator (Individual Giving) to join our small but dynamic Fundraising team.
The role requires excellent donor care and stewardship skills. All forms of communication will be required including the proactive use of digital channels such as the website and social media platforms.
The Individual Giving Fundraiser will play a vital role in increasing income from our existing supporters. You will support donor acquisition as well as taking the lead on retention of our supporters across multiple channels including cash appeals, regular giving, lottery and in celebration giving. The role will also support the Head of Income in the delivery of a legacy and major donor program.
You will develop and deliver excellent stewardship programmes that drive retention by deepening audience understanding of the challenges that people affected by cleft face and the impact that their donations make. Using data and insight, you’ll deliver compelling campaigns, with people affected by cleft right at the centre. You’ll use creative tools and techniques to demonstrate impact and inspire future action.

Salary:
The salary band for this role reflects the flexibility we offer with the contractual location. Candidates will be based at home and have personal transport to travel to schools across Wales. This role is 28 hours per week until 31 July 2025 with a full-time equivalent salary of £27,945 to £32,000 per annum (this will be prorated for part-time hours).

Responsible for corporate hospitality, the Administrator will provide excellent in-person customer care for visitors to the organisation’s central London Hub and act a first point of contact via the organisation’s in-bound telephone hunt groups.
Working in support of the Office & Facilities Manager, you will ensure the implementation of the organisation’s health and safety procedures on daily basis and contribute more generally to the management and maintenance tasks of the Hub and the broader Crane Grove estate.

You will also assist the Engagement & Communications department with ongoing outreach projects, by contributing to periodic fundraising fulfilment tasks related to appeals mailings, and by supporting outward-bound telephone campaign tasks.
