Main Responsibilities:

Campaign Development and Management:

• Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that align with the Charity's objectives and resonate with our target audience.
• Conduct thorough research to understand audience demographics, preferences, and behaviors.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify key messages and stories.
• Develop creative concepts, visuals, and messaging.
• Oversee the production of marketing materials.

Digital Marketing and Content Creation:

• Develop and implement digital marketing strategies across various platforms, including social media, email marketing, website, and digital advertising, to maximise reach and engagement.
• Design and execute email marketing and donor campaigns.
• Optimise website content and user experience.
• Implement digital advertising campaigns across platforms.
• Generate compelling stories, testimonials, and case studies.
• Develop multimedia content and write persuasive copy for marketing materials, fundraising appeals, event promotions, and donor communications.

Brand Management, Data Analysis, and Reporting:

• Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all channels and materials.
• Monitor brand mentions and sentiment online.
• Conduct periodic brand audits.
• Champion the Charity's brand values and mission.
• Set up tracking mechanisms and analytics tools to monitor campaign performance.
• Analyse data to assess campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.
• Prepare regular reports and dashboards summarising campaign results, trends, and insights for internal stakeholders.

Essential Criteria

• Expertise in Multi-Sector Program Management: Demonstrated proficiency in assessing, designing, and managing projects across diverse sectors within complex settings. A track record of navigating the project cycle successfully and securing institutional funding from bilateral and multilateral donors.
• Exceptional Project Management Skills: Proven ability to excel in managing multifaceted tasks within challenging timelines. Prioritization prowess is key, consistently meeting deadlines amidst competing demands.
• Donor Relationship Management: Extensive experience cultivating and sustaining relations with institutional donors such as DFID/FCDO, EU/ECHO, and UN bodies. Adept at analysing funding requirements and adeptly navigating varied worldviews. Skilled in fostering, managing, and evolving relationships within consortium partnerships.
• Proactive Innovation and Process Improvement: A proactive and creative approach to refining existing processes and devising new strategies for enhanced efficiency and efficacy. Strong emphasis on knowledge management within a high-pressure team environment.

Impact and Insights Officer

This is a brand new, unique role to be an impact catalyst across both Carlisle and Barnet youth zones, generating support and building towards a ‘culture of impact’ in both organisations such that outcome measurement and impact reporting becomes routine and ‘every day’.

Position: Impact and Insights Officer

Location: Home-working combined with a minimum of 8 days per month across both Barnet and Carlisle youth zones (travel expenses will be covered as part of the package)

Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 (dependent upon experience)

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)

About the Role

You will lead on data analysis and reporting on the data held in Salesforce CRM, improving both the quality and quantity of monitoring and evaluation processes, driving improvements in data capture through training and upskilling the Youth Work team, strengthening the ability of both youth zones to demonstrate the measurable impact of youth work delivered. 

You will also be responsible for measuring and demonstrating both charities’ impact to stakeholders; authoring and providing the necessary data to the leadership and fundraising teams and Board (as required), annual publications such as Trustees Reports and annual Impact Reports. Innovation is a key aspect of this role, involving the introduction and embedding of new methodologies to enhance the qualitative data capture process.

You will collaborate closely with a cross section of teams within the youth zones, working with the Youth Work delivery teams to feed data into decision making, and with the Communications and Fundraising teams to provide impact measurement and analysis content for use with stakeholders and in donor reporting. Furthermore, it will align impact and data work with national and local policy, and use national census, health, police and other statistical data to position both youth zones for new income generation opportunities.

About You

This role is ideal for someone who has the ability to bring technical analysis to life in a youth work setting and can communicate insights in an accessible style to different audiences. The Impact and Insights Officer should be passionate about embracing the power of youth work and be keen to support youth zones in evidencing the impact created with young people. It will require someone who can bring impact expertise and creativity to create buy-in and drive improvements in data capture; and someone who is keen to work flexibly and closely with teams of passionate youth workers and who is unafraid of the challenge presented by Youth Zones in two very different geographic locations.

About the role:
 

The Philanthropy & Events Executive will support our Philanthropy Lead and Managing Director to effectively manage existing match funding partner (“Champion”)  relationships, and help to develop new Champion relationships. You will support with Champion onboarding, stewarding and reporting as well as research, prospecting, and business development activities.  You will also manage events for high-value supporters, and play a key role in helping us grow the number of Champions through our events, such as our annual Big Give Christmas Party and Philanthropy Lunches. 

About you:

You will be an organised self-starter with exceptional personal and communication skills. As a “tech first” organisation, we’re looking for someone with exceptional digital skills, experience in data administration and management and able to collate, segment and analyse donor information.  You will also have experience with CRM systems (experience using Salesforce would be advantageous) and processes to help manage the journey of our match funding partners (“Champions “). An understanding of the UK charity and philanthropy sector would be helpful.

Prospectus is excited to be supporting St Luke’s Hospice. The hospice’s mission is to provide the highest standards of individualised care for people with life-limiting conditions, palliative and end of life care needs, and their families, living in Basildon and Thurrock districts.

Reporting to the Head of Donor Acquisition and Retention (HODAR) and working within the Fundraising team, the Legacy and In Memory Lead is responsible for managing implementation of the Hospice’s legacy (gifts in Wills) and in memory strategies and developing annual delivery plans. The post holder will strategically plan and deliver promotional and stewardship activity, as well as ensuring provision of an excellent supporter experience, to achieve budget net income across these income streams and grow our active support base, including numbers of known supporters who would consider or have already pledged a gift in their Will to the Hospice.

The Legacy and In Memory Lead will work closely with the Individual Giving Lead to ensure appropriate coordination of planned activities involving existing and prospective individual giving, legacy and in memory audiences. The post holder will also work closely with the HODAR to help inform the development of departmental strategies.

The successful candidate will have significant demonstrable and relevant experience of in memory and/or legacy fundraising and developing in memory products. You will have experience in using a variety of on and offline channels to deliver successful marketing campaigns to both acquire and develop donors. You will have demonstrable experience of managing targets and income and expenditure budgets.

This is a permanent position with flexible hybrid working, based 4 days from their Essex offices. The salary is £28750.42 to £37,293.98 depending on experience.

Position Requirements:

• A minimum of five years of related work experience in major gifts fundraising or in the field of marketing and communications, preferably at a non-profit advocacy organisation.
• A proven track record of bringing in major donations of six-figure sums.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
• A practical understanding of fundraising, GDPR and charity regulation.
• Knowledge of and proven ability to develop and implement fundraising strategies.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable presenting professionally.
• A positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication, and the ability to work cooperatively with others in a team-oriented work environment.
• Ability to work additional hours, as needed, to meet deadlines, travel occasionally and manage workflow.
• Professional appearance and adherence to a vegan lifestyle.

• You will be required to travel to London once per month at your own cost.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary band £37,000-£40,000, depending on experience. This is a remote working opportunity (UK-based candidates only).

The Trusts & Philanthropy Fundraising Manager role is a vital part of this vision and your excellent writing skills and relationship building will help us achieve our ambitions.

Working closely within our friendly and results driven Trusts and Philanthropy team, you will manage your own portfolio of charitable trusts and support the developing major donor and statutory funding relationships as required. You will be helping us Beat Macular Disease by talking with funders and writing bespoke funding applications for support services, medical research and core costs. Diligently recording all relationships information and communications on our database.
