Here at the IOP we are looking for a Senior Data Analyst for a fixed period of 18 months to support us in our mission. 

What will I be doing?  

• Collecting and analysing data from a wide range of sources.

• Developing processes governing what data is collected, and how it is stored, arranged, integrated, and used; ensuring adherence to best practice in data security. 

• Developing effective taxonomies to interrogate data. 

• Designing and refining complex data workflows- primarily in Python- for project and programme work. 

• Creating static and interactive data visualisations. 

• Working with colleagues from across the organisation, as well as IOP members and partner organisations, to help design data and evidence driven approaches to key projects and activities. 

• Drawing out insights for programmes, projects, using data science techniques. 

• Providing cross-organisation technical expertise in data. 

Ideally, we hope you’ll apply if your skills include:  

Essential Criteria  

• A degree in a numerate subject or equivalent 

• Data analysis skills obtained through educational programs or equivalent experience- particularly in statistical and machine learning techniques. 

• Programming skills obtained through educational programmes or experience- preferably in python. 

• Experience designing efficiently coded data pipelines to allow for analysis of datasets. 

• Experience analysing structured/unstructured datasets, detecting issues & providing solutions. 

• Experience interpreting and presenting data for reporting and interactive visualisations. 

• An ability to communicate technical information clearly to a non-technical audience. 

• Experience of measuring and reporting back on project targets and success criteria. 

• The ability to work co-operatively with others to achieve common goals; the confidence to listen and understand. 

• The ability to work with low supervision, prioritise workload, and handle multiple tasks to a high standard and within deadlines

Community and Engagement Manager

Position: Community and Engagement Manager

Location: Teddington, TW11 8HT

Salary Range (depending on experience): pro rata of £32,910 – £38,745 incl. OLW

Richmond AID is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic person who will support our vision of putting Deaf and Disabled people at the centre of everything we do. About Richmond AID

Richmond AID offers 25 days annual leave plus eight bank holidays pro rata. Normal office hours are 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 5pm on Fridays. About Us

Advocacy Support Cymru (ASC) is a registered charity with offices in Cardiff and Swansea. We provide Independent Mental Health and Mental Capacity Advocacy Services across most of South Wales, employing 44 employees.

About the role

The post holder will provide support to clients who lack capacity and to implement the safeguards of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 or the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. They will provide non-instructed advocacy (NIA) support to people who lack capacity to make specific decisions and who have no-one else to support them. About you

You will have significant experience working with vulnerable adults and/or children, either within health or social care setting, or indirectly, for example as a carer. This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Support Officer to join our Wellbeing team and work across two new projects aimed at improving older people's lives. Working closely with Age UK's Network of 120+ local and independent Age UK partners, this role will support the delivery of projects across their life cycle, ranging from the implementation of funder-led reporting requirements to liaising with partners on the impact the project has had on their beneficiaries.

About the Role

• Act as first point of contact for system and process queries including holiday, sickness, leavers and internal transfers.

About You

To be successful in the role of you will need to be proficient in Excel and enjoy producing complex data analytics. You will have great communication skills and be committed to the values of the organisation.

Some of the key skills and experience you will need to bring with you include:

• Experience in working within a human resources team, primarily in areas such as HR systems, management information and HR metrics.
• A working knowledge of HR systems, databases and have worked on a HRIS.

We are seeking to recruit a Suicide Prevention Therapist to support men in suicidal crisis at our centre in Liverpool. We are looking for an experienced mental health professional or therapist with demonstrable interest in suicide prevention. We will work with you and train you to develop your therapeutic skills to offer our collaborative semi-structured psychologically informed intervention. You will support the centre user and their supporter(s) to recover from the suicidal crisis and maintain their safety. You will report to a Senior Suicide Prevention Therapist.

This appointment is part of our growth as a charity. The successful candidate will join an experienced supportive team and will gradually build a caseload supporting four men in suicidal crisis per day to meet the growth of referral partnerships and increased awareness raising in Liverpool.

The Charity

James’ Place exists to stop men dying by suicide. We opened our first centre in 2018 in Liverpool, the first of its kind in the UK, in 2022 we launched our second centre in London, and this year we opened our third centre in Newcastle. To date, we have supported over 1500 men and delivered over 7000 sessions of our life-saving intervention. James’ Place is a therapy centre for men who are experiencing a suicidal crisis, and it was set up to make the experience of finding help as easy as possible. It offers men a brief, intensive, therapeutic intervention in a safe environment. Men who walk through the door at James’ Place will be in a space where they feel valued and respected.   

Building on the success of our centres in Liverpool, London, and Newcastle, we are now expanding our model to reach more men in suicidal crisis. Our aim is to have five centres open across England by 2026.

The Foundation is seeking a Project Coordinator with experience in the employment/recruitment sector to lead on delivering our newly launched Training Grounds programme (9-12-month post), in partnership with the EFL Trust and 7x other club community organisations, aimed at supporting young people aged 16 to 24 who are not in employment, education or training into positive outcomes (employment, education or social).

The Project Coordinator will be joining at an exciting time of growth for the Employment and Skills department with the aim of supporting the delivery and evaluation of our newly launched Training Grounds programme. The postholder will lead on community outreach initiatives that aim to recruit 96 or more participants (aged 16 to 24) from Haringey and Enfield over 12 months and support them with life skills geared towards the achieve positive outcomes in education, employment or social attainments conducted through group and 1-2-1 sessions. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the EFL Trust to capture and record the achievement of outcomes and journey progression of participants on the Training Grounds Programme.

Job Purpose

We are looking for a positive people-person with commercial development experience, financial acumen and the ambition to help take Avon Needs Trees (ANT) to our next level of impact, as we prepare for exponential growth over the next year. Your work will ensure the short- and long-term sustainability of ANT, enabling us to keep delivering impact for decades to come. You will secure ANT financially and drive forward innovative new commercial opportunities, helping to deliver on our goals to plant hundreds of thousands of trees and complementary habitats. Immediate commercial opportunities include natural capital sales, ethical investing, business model development for Landscape Recovery in the Lower Chew and development of ANT’s ecotourism trading arm.

As a fast-growing, high impact charity all of our roles have direct operational responsibilities in addition to managing teams and thinking strategically and with vision.

Main responsibilities
● Lead on ANT’s overall commercial development strategy to ensure long term financial viability and sustainability of the charity
● Pioneer the development and implementation of a new Commercial Trading Arm for ANT to support and accelerate ANT’s charitable impact
● Champion and drive forward new sources of income for ANT including natural capital development, ethical investments and ecotourism development
● Direct the development of business models and natural capital finance models and plans to support Landscape Recovery across thousands of acres of land in the Lower Chew
● Identify, seize and support new income, funding and fundraising opportunities, and help guide ANT through a period of business and transformation and growth
● Line-manage and oversee the work of our finance and natural capital staff, and ultimately trading body staff, to ensure our people are well-supported and our work is impactful

● Work with the Chief Executive and other Heads on organisational strategy, finance and organisational sustainability
● Work with the Chief Executive to ensure trustees have appropriate information and understanding of our finances and commercial strategy

● Lead on the development and implementation of ANT’s finance and commercial strategy
