We’re looking for a Senior Adult Community Worker to join our team.

This is a hands-on role supporting LGBTQ+ adults through inclusive groups, events and 1:1 support. You’ll help shape and deliver our adult services, while also supervising and supporting staff and volunteers.

The role:

Learning and development sit at the heart of what the College does and the Head of Professional Learning & Development plays a pivotal role in delivering our existing portfolio of education and training products. Leading a small team of product specialists, you will support the development of the portfolio as well as improve the experience of those undertaking our market-leading training.

You will have a strong background in the provision of learning and development programmes, ideally in the healthcare sector, with demonstrable positive impact on growth and quality. You will have experience of developing and delivering online and face-to-face development products and projects. Ideally, you will also have experience of supporting learners outside the UK. At the heart of Camden’s mission to end rough sleeping, the Gray's Inn Road project offers short-stay accommodation for 16 individuals experiencing some of the most challenging periods in their lives. Funded by the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and the Greater London Authority, and delivered in partnership with One Housing Group and Camden Council, this service plays a pivotal role in ensuring rough sleeping in Camden is not only rare but brief and not repeated. Residents typically stay between three to six months, during which time the focus is on creating pathways into safe, sustainable housing and renewed independence.

You’ll be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering trauma-informed, psychologically informed support. You’ll work closely with clients facing overlapping challenges including homelessness, poor physical and mental health, substance use, trauma and histories with the criminal justice system. With your own caseload, you’ll conduct in-depth assessments, build tailored support plans and facilitate interventions that reflect the needs, strengths and aspirations of each person. Every day brings new opportunities to connect people with education, training or employment, to help them rebuild practical life skills, and to foster progress towards long-term goals.

As Counselling Service Manager, you will co-lead a high-quality counselling and psychotherapy service rooted in our communities and guided by our values: Inclusive, Responsive, Evolving and Together. You will provide co-leadership and day-to-day operational oversight over the counselling service, including clinical supervision for paid staff and volunteers.

Working alongside the Clinical Lead, you will uphold robust clinical governance, safeguarding and risk management, ensuring consistent ethical practice and high professional standards. You will lead the design and implementation of systems that support safe, effective and efficient service delivery, and use data to evidence impact and support reporting to commissioners and funders.

Where appropriate, you will hold a clinical caseload and deliver counselling or psychotherapy for clients with complex needs and multiple disadvantage, drawing on evidence-informed and trauma-informed approaches. You will model reflective practice, cultural humility and a strong client focus.

Additionally, you will be able to think strategically to develop new and existing services that meet the needs of service users. With a strong outcomes-focused and data-driven approach, you will lead on the design, implementation and delivery of systems that support the effective operation of services. You will have strong interpersonal skills that will allow you to build good working relationships with clients, volunteer and paid staff members and stakeholders.

We are recruiting a Van Peer Coordinator to support our Hepatitis C peer project in the Oxford & Thames Valley area. This role involves driving a van across the region and working with people affected by substance use and hepatitis C. 

Peers use their lived experience to raise awareness of hepatitis C, reduce stigma, and help people access testing and treatment.

• Be confident driving a van and travelling long distances

Dementia UK has a fantastic new opportunity to join our Challenge Events Team where you will help coordinate a portfolio of third-party challenge event activities, driving both participation and income for the organisation.

As the team are expanding and taking on a new portfolio of events, you will manage three international marathons – Dublin, Athens and Valencia and two UK based events – Hackney Half Marathon and Manchester Marathon. As a Challenge Events Executive, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of these events using project management tools and techniques. You will develop and execute marketing plans that grow participant numbers, alongside managing stewardship journeys that deliver excellent supporter experience and maximise income. You will coordinate the production of stewardship collateral including copywriting, compiling design briefs and liaising with internal teams and expert suppliers. You’ll nurture relationships with key stakeholder both internally and externally to ensure the best possible event delivery. You will stay up to date with trends in the challenge events market, identifying opportunities and making recommendations to expand and diversity the programme.

We are looking for you to have a good base of project management skills and have experience of coordinating fundraising events or campaigns on mass. Relationship building and management skills are key to this role as these are new events to us with new partnerships and key stakeholders.

We're looking for an organised, proactive and resilient Partnership Development Manager to join our New Business Team located at our Head Office in Islington.

£35,000.00 per annum, working 35 hours per week.

This postholder will play a vital role as Look Ahead works to maintain and gain service contracts aligned to our ambitious Business Development Strategy and business plan. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can work closely with operational colleagues and other teams to support every part of the business development process including partnership building, strategic positioning, service design and bid writing and management.

The shift pattern for this role is as follows: M7,T7,W7,T7,F7

Salary range of £35,000-75,000 depending on experience.

What you'll do:
Summary of Responsibilities
- Relationship Management: Building relationships with commissioners and stakeholders in supported accommodation and health in a dedicated geographic area covering all of our client groups - learning disabilities, mental health, homelessness, young people
- Commercial Business Partnering: Work with operational colleagues in designated patch to support the end-to-end business development process including contract extensions and renegotiations.
- Tender Management: Monitoring, managing, and drafting high- quality submissions, for Local Authority and Health Trusts, frameworks and Dynamic Purchasing Systems, focusing primarily on own patch but contributing to and supporting tender exercises coordinated by other members of the business development team as required.
- Strategic Positioning: Analysing evaluation criteria and advising on bid competitiveness and commercial strategies, including presenting proposed models and contract prices at internal risk panels to gain Senior Leadership approval

- A genuine interest in housing and social care and a commitment to Look Ahead's mission
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, particularly in terms of working under pressure and responding to multiple and competing demands on your time
- Imaginative and resourceful - able to contribute to the development of new ideas for services
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with internal and external contacts

What you'll bring:
Essential:
- Eligible to live and work in the UK
- Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience
- Extensive business development, fundraising or sales experience
- Experience of bid writing

Desirable:
- A qualification in social care/psychology/policy would be an advantage
