What you’ll do

Financial Leadership

What is the role and its impact?
We're looking for an experienced Supply & Partnerships Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day supply function at The Multibank.
You'll make sure products move efficiently from our supply partners through the Multibank network, while building strong relationships with suppliers and regional Multibanks and continually improving how we manage supply.
This is a hands-on role with significant responsibility. You'll manage the detail of stock offers, allocations and logistics, while also understanding the bigger picture and identifying opportunities to improve our systems, processes and supply base.
You'll work closely with the Director of Supply & Partnerships, taking ownership of operational supply and creating capacity for the Director to focus on strategic supply growth, senior partnerships and supporting the development of the wider Multibank network.

Finance Administrator – Job Description

Role Purpose
Power Up North London is a leading community energy organisation delivering renewable energy, energy-efficiency and retrofit projects that directly benefit community groups and public buildings. We believe communities can and must play a central role in the transition to a low-carbon future.
The Finance Administrator will support the effective financial management and integrity of Power Up North London’s financial operations. The postholder will prepare accurate financial and management information, monitor budgets, and support finance processes including cashflow management, invoicing, payments and associated controls.
Working closely with the CEO, Treasurer, Board, internal colleagues and external finance providers, the postholder will provide timely financial information and administrative support to inform decision-making, meet funder requirements and support the organisation’s sustainable growth. About the Role
We are seeking a candidate responsible for ensuring the Fund has work environments conducive to operational efficiency, productivity, staff wellbeing, positive visitor experience, safety and security. A key focus of this role is to be the ‘front of the Fund’ by delivering a customer focused administrative functions from the 67 Portland Place (London Head Office) reception.

Philanthropy, which covers Trusts & Foundations, Major Donors and Mid-Value Donors , is pivotal to Noah’s Ark – typically accounting for around 46% of the charity’s overall income. In real terms, that is c. £2.2m of our £4.7m fundraising target for 2026-27. This role also has a lead role in managing our Philantropy & Corproate Board of influential volunteers that support our philanthropy programme. Philanthropy is a real area of expertise for Noah’s Ark and we have seen considerable success over the past 10 years. However, there is much scope for further, exciting growth. Specifically, there is much to do to re-engage lapsed donors and to build a healthy pipeline to ensure a steady flow of new donors join our programme. Our mid-value donor programme also requires further development to enable the cultivation of future Major Donors. The Head of Philanthropy will work closely with the Director of Fundraising & Communications to dedicate time and attention to a strong portfolio of donors, and will contribute to the wider development of fundraising and communications strategies through senior team forum and all-staff forums. The post-holder will be key in taking our Philanthropy programme to the next level, building on key existing relationships, increasing income and opportunities generated by our team’s augmentation and growth and elevating the experience of supporting Noah’s Ark.
ABOUT YOU
You will have considerable experience and success in high-value / major donor fundraising, at managerial level. You will be a dynamic, agile, highly organised, dedicated and reliable individual, ready to play a significant role in income generation. An exceptional and eloquent communicator, excellent at managing your time and a natural relationship builder. You will have a collaborative mindset and enjoy working with and managing team members with different personalities, styles of working and approaches to amitious goals. You will feel at home being a key person with whom colleagues across the fundraising and wider charity teams liaise, in order to create the greatest outcomes for the children and families we support. You will have strong line-management skills and show excellence in donor stewardship.

This is a critical interim appointment, providing finance leadership during a period of transition while ensuring continuity across audit, grant reporting and financial management activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial oversight, supporting funding compliance, and ensuring a smooth handover of knowledge and processes.
This role will suit an experienced charity finance professional who can quickly become operational, maintain strong financial controls and work independently within a values-driven organisation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the finance function during an interim period, ensuring continuity and financial stability.
- Manage reporting and tracking for major grant funders, ensuring compliance with funding requirements and reporting deadlines.
- Maintain accurate grant expenditure records, spend trackers and supporting documentation across Xero and internal reporting systems.
- Support and manage the final stages of the annual audit, responding promptly to auditor requests and queries.
- Prepare VAT returns and work closely with external VAT specialists to ensure compliance, including partial exemption considerations.
- Produce regular management accounts, forecasts and financial reports for the Board of Trustees.
- Process day-to-day financial transactions, invoice management and accounting entries within Xero.
- Review and improve finance processes, creating clear documentation, process maps and handover guidance for future sustainability.
- Provide guidance and training to administrative staff undertaking finance-related responsibilities.
- Work closely with senior leadership to support financial planning and decision-making.
Requirements
- Proven finance experience within the charity, not-for-profit or voluntary sector.
- Strong working knowledge of Xero and confidence managing day-to-day financial operations.
- Experience managing restricted funding, grant reporting and funder compliance requirements.
- Previous experience preparing VAT returns and working with partial exemption arrangements.
- Experience supporting external audits and handling auditor queries.
- Ability to prepare management accounts, forecasts and Trustee-level financial reporting.
- Demonstrable experience in interim assignments, with the ability to quickly understand new systems and working practices.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- A proactive mindset with an interest in improving processes and strengthening financial controls.
- Availability to start by 2 September or earlier is essential.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Grants Manager to join Suffolk Wildlife Trust's Fundraising & Philanthropy Team at a pivotal time for nature recovery across Suffolk.
Our ambition is for 30% of Suffolk to be connected and well-managed for nature by 2030, helping wildlife recover and thrive while inspiring more people to take action for nature.
Working closely with the Head of Fundraising & Philanthropy, you will lead and develop Suffolk Wildlife Trust's grant fundraising programme, securing vital income from charitable trusts, foundations and other grant-making organisations to support our strategic priorities and core costs. You will lead on building and maintaining strong relationships with funders, developing a diverse funding pipeline and ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications, stewardship and reporting.
The role will involve identifying and researching funding opportunities, working collaboratively with colleagues across the Trust to develop funding proposals, manage grant reporting and monitoring and ensuring excellent stewardship of existing funders. You will be responsible for the management of grant pipeline & help shape a strategic and sustainable approach to grant fundraising.
You will also line manage a Grants Officer and build strong working relationships across the organisation, helping colleagues identify and develop funding opportunities that support conservation delivery, community engagement and support services development.
To succeed in this role, you will have a strong track record of securing income from trusts and foundations, together with experience of developing successful funding strategies and managing a fundraising pipeline.
