About Arthritis Action
Arthritis Action is the UK charity giving hands-on, practical help to improve the quality of life of people affected by arthritis. We offer an integrated self-management approach, which looks at both the physical and mental health impact of living with arthritis. We support people living with musculoskeletal conditions through healthy eating advice, mental health resources, pain management techniques, Online Groups, employment support, and exercise advice and resources.
We are looking for a Community and Events Fundraising Manager to lead Arthritis Action’s community and events fundraising programme, growing income and supporter engagement through innovative campaigns, challenge events, community partnerships and excellent stewardship. The role will identify new opportunities, build long-term relationships with supporters and community groups, and use data and insight to maximise participation, income and impact.
Purpose
This is a varied and rewarding fundraising management role, focused on developing and delivering an ambitious community and events fundraising programme that generates sustainable income, increases awareness of our work and builds long-term supporter relationships.
You will lead the development of community fundraising, supporting and inspiring individuals, families and community groups to raise funds for Arthritis Action.

Job Summary
As Grants and Impact Manager you will be stewarding small and large Trust and Foundation donors, researching new prospects, and writing compelling applications using detailed case studies compiled by the team. The Grants and Impact Manager will also coordinate the development of a new Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) programme, strengthening our ability to measure, understand, and communicate the impact of our work. A key part of this will be focusing on evidencing and enhancing the positive change created by Caring in Bristol, ensuring that funders and stakeholders can clearly see the difference their support makes.

About This Job
The role requires a strong communicator who can translate complex information into accessible content and build trusted relationships across key stakeholder groups, particularly within the ACF. As well as a requirement to attend events across the UK to promote the charity.
Essential Skills
· GCSE English or equivalent experience
· At least two year’s experience of drafting award citations or funding applications
· Experience of working with partners, internally and externally
· Ability to extract information from people with varying powers of written expression
· Information gathering and analysis skills

The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools.
