The Administration Co-ordinator is a pivotal role at the heart of
Neuroendocrine Cancer UK. As part of the Operations team, you will help create the strong
organisational foundations that enable our charity to deliver meaningful support, drive
awareness and improve outcomes for people affected by neuroendocrine cancer.
Working closely with colleagues across operations, fundraising, communications and
patient support, you will provide high-quality administrative and coordination support that
keeps the organisation running efficiently and effectively. No two days will be the same;
from coordinating projects and maintaining accurate records to improving processes and
supporting colleagues across the charity, your work will have a direct impact on our ability
to achieve our mission.

Accreditation Administration Assistant
Duration: Temporary role, initially for 6 months
Pay: £14.80 per hour (London rate) / £13.55 per hour (outside London) + holiday pay
Hours: Approximately 8-12 hours per week
Location: Home-based, UK

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional membership organisation during an exciting period of digital transformation. The Association has recently introduced a new online accreditation system and is looking for an adaptable administrator to help support applicants, manage queries and contribute to the ongoing improvement of processes and systems.
The role offers genuine flexibility, making it ideal for someone seeking part-time work around other professional or personal commitments.
Key responsibilities
- Support the administration of accreditation applications
- Respond to applicant enquiries via email and online systems
- Carry out initial checks on applications and supporting documentation
- Maintain accurate records and update databases
- Identify and report recurring system issues and applicant challenges
- Support accreditation deadlines and peak submission periods
- Escalate complex queries where appropriate
- Contribute ideas for improving processes and applicant experience
You will have:
- Previous administration, customer service or membership support experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Confidence using digital systems and databases
- Excellent written communication skills
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- A proactive, solution-focused approach
Desirable experience
- Membership body or professional association administration
- Accreditation, compliance or qualifications administration
- CRM, database or case management systems
- Supporting members, volunteers or applicants
Working pattern
The role is highly flexible, with hours spread across the week according to workload. Some weeks will be busier than others, particularly in the lead-up to accreditation submission deadlines.
