Data Control Manager | Fully Remote | £35,000 pa | Immediate Start
Ready to take ownership of data, lead a team, and make a real impact from day one?
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established national organisation for an experienced Data Control Manager to join their team on a 6 to 9 month fixed-term contract, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent for the right person.
This is a fully remote role with an immediate start, offering the chance to lead data administration, reporting, and process improvement across multiple contracts in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

The Role
You'll be responsible for ensuring data quality, managing reporting deadlines, overseeing administrative processes, and leading a team to deliver accurate, timely information to internal stakeholders and external commissioners.
You'll also play a key role in improving systems, auditing data, producing KPI reports, and ensuring compliance with information governance and quality standards.
We're looking for someone with:
- Strong experience managing large datasets and producing meaningful reports
- Previous experience leading or supervising administration or data teams
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence with Microsoft Office
- Experience using CRM, case management or healthcare databases (experience with systems such as SystmOne, C-Nomis, Nebula, DET, DAMs or similar would be highly advantageous)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to prioritise multiple deadlines while maintaining exceptional accuracy
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
You'll stand out if you have:
- Experience with Power BI and DAX
- A background in healthcare, probation, public sector or commissioned services
- Experience implementing or improving administrative systems and processes

Our network of 5000 groups reached over one million people across the UK in 2025–26. Through free support, resources and funding, we help trusted local leaders lower the barriers participation, building stronger, fairer communities and improving health and wellbeing, and opportunities for all.
We are now looking for a Network Services and Data Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic and insight-driven professional with expertise in service design, CRM systems, and data management to join Sported's mission of supporting grassroots groups to create lasting change in their communities.
Here you will have the opportunity to provide leadership to a function with significant potential for growth and development. You'll be instrumental in embedding best practice across service design, establishing robust processes, enhancing data capability, and creating a culture of evidence-based decision-making.
The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement, helping to establish a high-performing, strategically focused function that maximises impact across the organisation.
The Opportunity

You'll lead the development of Sported's services, CRM systems, and data strategy, ensuring our decisions, processes, and offer to grassroots groups are driven by insight and evidence.
Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you'll champion innovation, improve how we use data, and help create exceptional experiences for the grassroots groups we serve.
