Harris Hill are delighted to be working exclusively with this national charity to recruit their new Finance Manager. (Hybrid)
- Location: Buckinghamshire
- Reporting to: Director of finance and operations
- Salary: c£46,350 per annum
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Hybrid Working: 50% of your time will be based at their offices
- Hybrid Working extended: Split weeks are available ( 2 days one week, 3 days the other)
About the role
The Charity is looking for a talented and motivated Finance Manager to join us at an exciting point in our journey. As we are now halfway through delivering our 2030 strategy, this role offers a unique opportunity to play a central part in strengthening their financial sustainability and enabling the association to achieve its long-term ambitions.
As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial management whilst driving continuous improvement across our finance processes and systems. Reporting into the Director of Finance and Operations, you will be a trusted partner to budget holders and colleagues across all departments.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading all aspects of financial management, reporting, and controls
- Producing timely and accurate management accounts and forecasts
- Supporting budgeting and financial planning across departments
- Ensuring compliance with charity and financial regulations
- Improving finance systems, processes, and reporting insight
- Supporting and developing colleagues in financial understanding and best practice
About you
We are looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with a collaborative and forward-thinking approach:
- Fully or part-qualified accountant (AAT / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a similar finance role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate financial information clearly
- Experience improving processes and driving efficiencies
- A proactive, approachable mindset with a passion for enabling others
- Charity sector experience is desirable
The Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead its financial management and oversee the organisation's operational functions. This is a senior leadership role supporting the Trust's continued growth, financial resilience, and conservation mission. The position can be based remotely, with travel to the Isles of Scilly as needed.
