The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Legacy Manager vacancy -12-month fixed term contract. This role will be the legacy specialist for the charity, developing and delivering legacy fundraising strategies to maximise donor engagement and income. They are looking for someone who can help them develop the framework for a successful legacy programme where there is already sizeable passive income.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive legacy marketing and engagement strategy
• Build and strengthen relationships with legacy donors, ensuring ongoing stewardship and support.
• Promote legacy giving opportunities through targeted campaigns, internal education, and stakeholder engagement.
• Manage legacy data projects, ensuring accurate segmentation, messaging, and donor journey development.
• Organise in-person legacy meetings and events to enhance donor connections.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to align messaging and maximise impact.
• Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet targets.
• Support internal education efforts to raise awareness and confidence around legacy giving.

Person Specification

• Proven experience in legacy fundraising, this can come from a pure legacy focussed role or from a combined role that has legacy responsibility
• Strong project management skills with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders.
• Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to work around challenges and identify solutions.
• Experience working with legacy data systems and developing donor journeys.
• Knowledge of legacy marketing channels and techniques, with a focus on building engagement.
• Ability to work collaboratively and with a flexible approach to strategy development.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of working independently within a framework.

What’s on Offer
Salary: £45,000
Flexible office working-  once a fortnight min expectation
