What you’ll be doing……
- Deliver day-to-day housing and scheme management to support residents’ independence
- Monitor rent accounts and support residents to manage payments and avoid arrears
- Work closely with Adult Social Care, support providers, and external partners
- Respond to emergency calls and carry out welfare checks when needed
- Support tenancy processes including sign-ups, viewings, and compliance
- Maintain communal areas and oversee contractors to ensure a safe, clean environment
- Build strong relationships with residents, providing advice and resolving issues
- Encourage and support community engagement and social activities within the scheme
What we’re looking for:
You’ll be someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering a great service. You might already have experience in housing, care, or a customer-focused role — or be looking to bring transferable skills into a meaningful environment.
We’re particularly interested in someone who:
- Has a good understanding of housing management or experience in a similar setting
- Is confident communicating with a wide range of people, including vulnerable residents
- Can balance empathy with professionalism when handling sensitive situations
- Is organised, able to prioritise tasks, and comfortable working independently
- Has experience (or an interest) in supporting residents with tenancy, wellbeing, or financial matters
- Is comfortable using IT systems and keeping accurate records
- Is flexible and willing to be part of a 24/7 rota, including sleep-ins or waking nights if required
- Speaks Asian language (desirable)

The Shipwrecked Fishermen and Mariners’ Royal Benevolent Society – “The Shipwrecked Mariners” for short – was founded in 1839 and operates throughout the British Isles. Our primary purpose is to provide financial help to fishermen, merchant mariners and their dependants, both retired and of working age, who are in need. The Society has over 1,200 regular beneficiaries and receives over 600 applications for assistance each year.
To help us continue to provide a great service to mariners and their families, we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us in the role of Grants Officer.
Our grants provide practical support for individuals and families that are experiencing severe financial distress and help them stabilise their situation during times of crisis. All our grants are means tested and exclusively focussed on those on low incomes (with little or no savings). A significant number of our grants are provided to those in retirement, however we also support those who are unable to work because of accident, illness, disability, or for compassionate reasons, as well as those who struggling to find employment. Our grants are used to cover a wide range of needs but are primarily aimed at helping people maintain a reasonable and dignified standard of living. We also help those who are struggling with debts as well as providing immediate support to the dependants of seafarers who have died at sea or during accidents ashore.
We are offering this role on a full-time basis, with a minimum of 2 days per week (Tues and Weds) working from our Chichester office, but potential for home working at other times. Some travel will be required for the role, including occasional overnight stays.
To be our ideal candidate, you will be an experienced, self-starting administrator with excellent communication and IT skills and a great eye for detail. But, above all, you will have a clear understanding of and empathy for the challenges and vulnerabilities faced by those we are here to support. We're looking for a Community Fundraising Officer, based at our rehoming centre in Harefield, West London, to promote the work of Dogs Trust to key audience groups and deliver excellent customer care for all Dogs Trust supporters, but particularly potential and existing legacy pledgers.
What does this role do?
As Community Fundraising Officer, you’ll:
- link the rehoming centre with supporters in the local community, developing relationships with local individuals, businesses, community groups and clubs,
- feed into various income streams through these relationships, identifying prospects in the community and develop a pipeline of future donors and legacy donations,
- steward existing and potential donors, always providing them with a seamless supporter journey, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the work we do and feel motivated to support our meaningful local work,

To be successful in this role, you’ll need some community fundraising experience, with the ability to build connections and connect with the local community. To do this, you’ll need excellent communication skills and be able to confidently approach and interact with supporters. While you’ll be a key part of the rehoming centre team, you’ll be regularly be working independently, so strong organisational skills and a proactive approach is essential.
This role is based at the rehoming centre, and the post holder will spend lots of time in the community meeting supporters. The working pattern is typically Monday and Tuesdays, but flexibility is required and is likely to involve some evening and weekend work, depending on the nature of the work.

North Paddington Foodbank (NPFB) is looking for a Triage Support Officer to join our innovative and vibrant team.
You will be the first point of contact for households in crisis situations, responsible for triaging referrals,
assessing eligibility, and ensuring residents are connected to the right support, through Crisis & Resilience
or alternative pathways.
A key part of the role is working closely with the Senior Caseworker, ensuring a strong pipeline from
triage into intensive casework. You will gather high-quality information, prepare referrals, and support
a seamless handover so that households can move quickly from crisis support into longer-term
income maximisation.

Your Place is a supported housing service for individuals who have experienced homelessness and may be living with mental health challenges, substance misuse, or complex trauma.
The environment can at times be unpredictable, and properties may experience higher levels of wear and tear than typical residential settings. The ideal Maintenance Officer must be comfortable working in these environments and demonstrate patience, resilience, and a non-judgemental approach at all times.

Scope of the role
The CDO holds primary responsibility for monitoring and quarterly reporting of the Linkage Plus, Mayors Fund and other community programmes. About the role
We are recruiting for a Participant Experience Officer to join on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. This is a home-based role, with occasional travel required for in-person team meetings and events.
As Participant Experience Officer you will work across the Events team, supporting the strategic planning, development and implementation of our Event participants’ supporter journeys. This includes working on a wide range of activities such as Memory Walk, Trek26 and third party runs and challenges.
In this role you will both advise on and directly implement multi-channel communications journeys, from the point of registration through to event day and beyond. This will include working with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate owned and paid stewardship channels, such as email, mail, social media, SMS and phone.
You will also support the testing and evaluation of stewardship across Events, ensuring continual development of our participant experience and that we are delivering the best possible experience for our participants, leading to continued engagement and lifetime value.
Interviews for this role have been provisionally scheduled to take place via MS Teams on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th July.
About you
Joining us, you’ll have experience of supporter experience within the not-for-profit sector, and a good understanding of the role of stewardship, with experience of developing and delivering multi-channel supporter journeys. You’ll be a good communicator with the ability to work collaboratively, influence and inform others.
Crucially, you’ll be able to manage a range of complex projects, meet deadlines and use problem-solving to implement solutions. You’ll also be able to interpret complex data and make recommendations based on analysis.
What you’ll focus on:
- Working with the Senior Participant Experience Manager, Participant Experience Manager and other Participant Experience Officers to oversee the supporter experience of all event participants.
- Working collaboratively with other teams, including Event Leads, Omnichannel, Data Analysis, Digital Engagement, Supporter Care and Regional Engagement to develop and maintain the best supporter experience.
- Contributing to the planning and development of event participant and volunteer stewardship journeys and deliver areas of responsibility.
- Leading and advising on the implementation of stewardship communications across a range of channels, including mail, email, SMS, social media and phone.
- Managing relationships with external agencies (including fulfilment houses) to ensure best value and optimum levels of service at all times.
- Developing robust data analysis and testing processes across events stewardship campaigns.
- Analysing the progress and impact of our supporter experiences, providing support to live campaigns and feeding into event evaluations with recommendations.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Data and Insights Officer to join our Impact and Evaluation team and shape how data is used at Chance to Shine. The role holder will strengthen our data practices and lead our monitoring analysis to ensure data is used effectively to support continuous improvement, planning and shape future priorities.
