This role is central to the financial and operational delivery of
Cumbria Youth Alliance. It combines hands-on financial
management with day-to-day coordination of internal systems,
funder compliance, and back-office operations. Working in
partnership with the HR and Operations Manager and reporting
to the COO, the postholder helps keep the organisation’s
infrastructure running effectively and efficiently. They will also
collaborate with the wider Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to
ensure financial processes, reporting, and systems meet the
needs of staff, funders, and trustees. The role supports audit
preparation, VAT returns, funder reporting, and internal
systems development, with scope to grow as the organisation’s
operational and strategic needs evolve.
The postholder will also provide administrative and
coordination support to the SLT as needed, helping ensure
operational continuity and organisational effectiveness. They
may also provide line management for junior or administrative
staff, depending on the structure and capacity of the team.

Working as part of a larger team, this key role will be primarily focussed on accounts payable and income management. You will be the lead for processing invoices and payments as well as approving and managing payment runs and reconciliations. From an income management perspective, you will ensure accurate and timely posting, reconciliation, and reporting of income. The organisation has diverse income streams and some of the work can be manual. Experience of working within a complex environment would be beneficial.
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or part-qualified accountant (or equivalent experience) and have proven experience working across both Accounts Payable and Income. As Finance Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day finance operations at B Lab UK, ensuring high-quality financial reporting, strong controls and effective oversight of transactional finance. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll oversee our outsourced accounting service, manage our in-house Accounts Receivable function, and play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, audit and financial planning.

• Managing and liaising with our outsourced accounting service to ensure accurate and timely financial records.

We are working in partnership with artsdepot, a leading multi form arts venue and cultural hub in North London to secure their new Head of Finance. This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager who, reporting to the CEO, will play a key role in the running of two interconnected entities; a registered society, and its trading arm, which supports and subsidises their charitable aims. - An accredited qualified accountant (ACCA) (CIMA) or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably within the non-profit sector

The Role
Freeways is looking to recruit a Head of Finance who will manage a small finance team.
This role is responsible for preparing the monthly management accounts and associated report for both charities: providing high quality financial insight, analysis and advice to support informed decision making.
The Head of Finance is also responsible for ensuring the efficiency, accuracy and compliance of the day-to-day financial activities (including accounts payable, accounts receivable and cashbooks) for both Freeways and Freeways Trust.

Key Responsibilities
1. IT Coordination
