Responsibilities:

• Lead the business performance of the home alongside the Registered Manager, delivering agreed income, occupancy, cost and surplus targets
• Ensure high standards of service, cleanliness and hospitality through effective leadership of housekeeping, catering and maintenance teams

The Multiple System Atrophy Trust (MSA Trust) is the UK and Eire’s leading national charity offering vital support to people affected by MSA – a terminal neurodegenerative disease. 

About the Role

To lead on the Trust’s Policy and Communications work. To ensure our strategy and work in this area is led by the specific needs of people affected by MSA. This will require effective contact between the Trust and people affected by MSA, a range of health and care professionals; in order to develop their engagement in a professional and supportive way. Key Responsibilities:

ABOUT US

Not all young people have the same opportunities in life. Caudwell Youth exists to level the playing field for young people at risk. We support young people up to 25 years, who face real challenges in their lives. They may experience mental health challenges, be leaving care or be at risk of exploitation or offending.

We provide person centred support through volunteer-led mentoring for up to 18-months, alongside a targeted intervention programme called Shaping Futures for high-risk young people. Founded by the philanthropist John Caudwell in 2022, we now support young people across Milton Keynes, Hertfordshire, Slough, Buckinghamshire, and Luton.

Over our first 3 years as a charity, our work has consistently achieved exceptional outcomes for at-risk young people. 95% reduced offending behaviour, 64% reduced their exploitation risk, 83% reported improvements in their mental health and 45% had moved into education, employment or training. When a young person makes progress, families and communities benefit too. In fact, economic analysis shows that for every £1 invested in our programme, we save the public purse £6.05.

Unfortunately, demand for our service far outstrips supply, meaning we have often had to close our waiting lists. Whilst the risks and challenges young people face continue to grow. We currently support around 400 young people. The driving ambition behind our forthcoming strategy is to reach more.

To achieve this we are setting out to develop and expand our programmes. To become a national charity. We will do this working with at-risk young people, empowering them in everything we do. Our ambition to support more at-risk young people is shared with them.

Purpose of Role:

Provide strategic leadership on all Caudwell Youth’s external communications, ensuring they are effective in driving engagement and delivering our strategic goals.

Key Duties:

Corporate leadership

A Senior/managerial Salesforce role accountable for driving forward the continued rollout, design, build and development of Salesforce and related applications; aligned with the Trusts strategy, values and goals.

This role is part of Trussell’s Knowledge Transformation programme, the goal of which is to gather and curate our collective knowledge as Trussell and food banks, and equip people to harness this knowledge to drive forward our mission. You will be required to participate in Rank-led programme activities in a residential conferences throughout the year, which will include travel away from home and overnight stays (all expenses will be paid). About the Role

We are looking for an experienced governance professional to join our Governance Team. This is an excellent opportunity to apply and expand your skills in an organisation with a rich and multifaceted governance structure, as both a charity and a membership body. You will join a small, supportive team that works closely with the President and Officers, Board of Trustees, Council, CEO, the Executive Team, and the College’s boards and committees.

Following a significant governance review and the introduction of an updated Charter, Ordinances and Regulations in 2023, this is an exciting time to play a central role in strengthening our governance frameworks.

As Governance Manager, you will deliver high‑quality, professional and compliant governance services across the College, ensuring we meet our statutory duties and apply best practice consistently.

You will work collaboratively with a second Governance Manager, sharing duties equitably and flexibly. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Developing an in‑depth understanding of the College’s governing documents, procedures and working practices, and advising Officers and colleagues on governance matters.
• Supporting the review and continual improvement of governance processes, procedures and policies.
• Providing comprehensive business support to the Board of Trustees, Council and Audit Committee, including agenda planning, preparation of papers and briefings, coordinating presentations, scheduling the cycle of business, and producing accurate minutes.
• Leading the delivery of College elections, ensuring they reflect best practice, uphold our values and enrich the College’s democratic processes.
• Taking a major role in planning and delivering the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Extraordinary General Meetings (EGMs), including logistics, documentation, communications, data management, and liaison with external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Leading on the development and ongoing maintenance of a governance cycle of business, including an annual meetings calendar that meets strategic and operational requirements.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be committed to delivering excellent governance services that support compliance and promote best practice across the College. You will bring a proactive, solutions‑focused approach and be confident in identifying opportunities for improving governance processes and embedding positive change.

You will be highly organised, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage a varied workload. You will also be confident working with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior clinicians and national bodies.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the work of a small psychotherapy and mental health charity 

Working alongside our office administrator and houses coordinator, you will support the Chair and Treasurer to ensure the smooth running of the finances of the organization.

This is a permanent role for the equivalent of one day a week (8 hours) hybrid working. You will be based in our office in Hampstead, London one afternoon a week (day can be negotiated), and the other hours will be worked when needed. About Us

Forest Peoples Programme (FPP) is a human rights charity that supports tropical forest peoples to protect their lands and livelihoods. We have 70 people on the team including human rights lawyers, anthropologists and social scientists working with communities and local organisations around the tropical belt. Up to half of the team live and work remotely. We are looking for a Logistics and Administration Officer to join the Administration team. Key Responsibilities

Travel & Logistics

• Coordinate international and domestic travel for staff, consultants, and partners (including travel, flights, visas, accommodation, insurance).
• Support with preparation of Visa applications.
• Ensure compliance with organisational travel policies and donor requirements.
• Maintain relationships with travel providers and negotiate cost-effective arrangements.
• Support logistics for workshops, conferences, and field trips, including registrations, venue booking and equipment procurement.
• Assist with monitoring and ordering travel equipment inventory including first aid, GPS units and other field equipment.
• Financial administration and liaising with the finance team.

Administration

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the organisation.
