Greater Manchester Youth Federation (GMYF) is a long-established charity running vibrant youth centres across Greater Manchester. Purpose of Role:
The Centre Manager is responsible for the effective leadership and management of Ormside Mill Residential Centre (ORC), including all Health and Safety, estate management, operations and bookings. The postholder will ensure high-quality, inclusive, and safe delivery of youth work activities, aligned with our organisational values and mission.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management
- To support the CEO in the delivery of our mission, in line with our values and ambition.
- Oversee daily operations of Ormside Mill Residential Centre, ensuring high service standards and smooth handover/takeover procedures.
- Line manage staff associated with the centre, such as the grounds keeper, housekeeper and finance assistant.
- Manage and administer all bookings and reservations for the Ormside Mill Residential Centre, maintaining an organised and efficient system.
- Provide onsite ‘take over’ and ‘hand over’ arrangements for groups, including providing oversight of activities with freelance instructors etc.
Safety, Quality and Compliance
- To ensure they have up to date Safeguarding knowledge and to promote GMYF safeguarding culture.
- Responsible for safe, inclusive practice in all areas of ORC work, through supportive line management of key staff, user and contractor briefings and operations. Be responsible for compliance with health and safety regulations including Fire Safety, Legionella, Contractor Management, vehicle maintenance etc.
- Manage and complete documentation for inspections or quality marks such as AHOEC, Evolve, AALA Licence etc. ensuing readiness for audit and compliance, including supporting the Chief Instructor with kit management and storage.
- To be responsible for a detailed estates plan that sets out key compliance requirements and their successful management within a 12-month period and beyond.
Administration and Organisation
- Represent the organisation in external networks and partnerships related to residential and youth work, including building positive relationship with local residents.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to populate the forecast events and resource demand.
- To identify, submit and secure external funding to support our endeavours, via grants or individual benefactors.
- To promote environmental sustainability, appropriate waste management and care for the environment.
- To be responsible for the production of regular and accurate reports such as the Annual Report, User Satisfaction reports, etc.

The Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised individual to join our team as Administration Manager. As Manager of a small team of administration assistants, you will play a crucial role in coordinating administrative support across our Perth and Aberdeen offices, ensuring the smooth running of the organisation by providing support across several of the charity’s functions including fundraising, finance, marketing and operations.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar office or administration management role, ideally within the charity sector. They will be proactive in building positive relationships across the charity and will be confident managing projects, budgets and external suppliers. They will have experience of using CRM systems in a fundraising context, be solutions-focused and have a strong commitment to our mission.
This role will be based from our headquarters at Perth Airport, and occasional travel to our Aberdeen base will be required. Role Responsibilities
Oversight of Spear Programme
Spear Foundation is a 4-week initial phase, consisting of 2 group sessions and a 1:1 with each trainee
per week, in which we coach young people around skills and mindsets to support them in returning to
work or education, and equip them with the skills to stay there.
- Lead group sessions of around 12 young people each, using coaching skills to transform attitudes to their own ability and the workplace, and to raise their awareness and maximise potential in stepping into the world of work.
- Prepare and coach group and 1-1 sessions with the Spear Coach.
- Ensure the programme is delivered in line with agreed targets, and report KPIs on recruitment, retention and completion of Spear Trainees to Spear, as well as their ongoing progress and
sustainment of work or education.
Partnership liaison and relationship management
- Establish the primary local referral agencies and build and implement a strategy for developing relationships with them to ensure recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme is effective.
- Maintain and develop relationships with local partners to form a strong referral network.
Line Management and training
- Manage the Spear Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development.

Church Community

This role will support the Senior Insight Manager in delivering policy research and insight as part of the new insight function. This role sits at the intersection of research and policy, ensuring that evidence is not only generated, but interpreted and mobilised effectively to inform forward-looking organisational positioning.
What you will be doing:
As Policy Research Manager, you’ll play a central role in building and mobilising the evidence needed to influence policy and public debate on mobility, disability and welfare reform. Working closely with colleagues across Insight, Policy and Public Affairs, you’ll help to ensure that the Foundation has a robust, timely and compelling evidence base to support advocacy, engagement with decision-makers, and external partnerships.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing clear and persuasive evidence narratives that demonstrate the social value and impact of the Foundation’s work, drawing on research, evaluation findings and wider policy evidence
- Scoping, developing and oversight of rapid evidence reviews and insight summaries to inform policy positions, responses to consultations and support external engagement

We are looking for a committed and detail oriented Information and Operations Officer to help keep our mission‑led organisation running smoothly. In this role, you will be supporting the day‑to‑day operations, manage key information systems, support training and HR administation, and contribute to research that strengthens our fundraising function. You will work across the organsation supporting our staff, service users and partners.
Who we are - Hibiscus is a feminist, anti-racist and intersectional women’s organisation that has delivered high-impact advocacy and advice services to Black and minoritised migrant women in contact with the Criminal Justice and Immigration systems for nearly 40 years. Hibiscus centres the lived experiences of women and continuously supports them to rebuild their lives through rights-based and justice-inspired responses.
What we do -Hibiscus delivers women-centred trauma informed support through an array of services including community-based provision which also address the needs of women leaving the prison and detention regimes.

The Key tasks of the role will be be as follows
Summary of Key Main Tasks
- Maintain smooth day‑to‑day office operations, including supplies, equipment, facilities, enquiries and visitor/Service user support.
- Manage organisational information systems, records, filing, databases and GDPR Compliance.
- Provide administrative support across HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding and DBS checks.
- Coordinate training activities and maintain accurate learning and development records for the entire organsation.
- Support research and fundraising tasks, including gathering information, maintaining pipelines and assisting with donor engagement for the CEO/SLT
- Contribute to improving operational systems and ensuring compliance with organisational policies, data protection and health and safety.
- Ensure you have a high level of understanding around confidentialitiy and data protection, handling sensitive informaiton appropriately at all times
- You will also be the key contact for the managing office relationships ensuring staff,service users are supported on a daily basis.

We are looking for some one that is able to work part-time in the office, 3 days a week. This is is an essential requirement to support our service.
