We are looking for an ambitious and experienced fundraising leader to build and lead an entirely new area of our organisation - developing sustainable voluntary income that enables us to do more than project funding alone can achieve.

About Bristol Avon Rivers Trust
Founded in 2012, Bristol Avon Rivers Trust works across the Bristol Avon catchment to restore rivers for wildlife, people and the local economy.
Everything we do is guided by the best available science and a catchment based approach, working across entire catchments to improve biodiversity, climate resilience, water quality and flood resilience.
Since 2023, the Trust has experienced significant growth. We now employ around 20 staff, deliver approximately £1.3 million of projects annually, and work alongside local partnerships, farmers, landowners, communities, local authorities, businesses and government agencies.
Our ambition over the next five years is even greater.
To deliver our Strategy 2025–2030, we need to complement our strong track record in project funding with a sustainable programme of unrestricted and philanthropic income.
About the Role
Help shape the future Bristol Avon Rivers Trust (BART).
This is much more than a fundraising role.
You'll have the opportunity to design and lead BART's long-term fundraising strategy, creating entirely new income streams that will support restoration of rivers, education, community engagement, project development and organisational resilience.

Research in Practice has supported evidence-informed practice in adult social care for 21 years. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Continuing Professional Development and Learning Officer to join our adult’s team.
This senior role is ideal for an experienced facilitator who has substantial experience in adult social care or related sectors. While the position requires engagement with, and understanding of, research it is not a primary research role.

Role Description
Volunteering Matters Brighter Futures CEC works with pupils (aged 12-18) who are care experienced or on the edge of care across the City of Edinburgh.
The project has two parts, one is to work one to one with the young people referred to the project, supporting them to experience a volunteering placement with local charitable organisations that will build their confidence and allow them to grow and learn new things in a different environment out with school.
The second part is our group work, the Youth Engagement Manager will be responsible for up to 7 small groups within schools across Edinburgh.The Youth Engagement Manager supports the young people engaged in the groups to develop and deliver a Youth Social Action project within their community.
We’re looking for a patient and engaging Youth Engagement Manager to join the Brighter Futures team in Edinburgh. The right candidate would be someone who can work flexibly and demonstrate an understanding and total commitment to our organisational values and strategy.
Due to the nature of this role and the needs of the young people we support, including the requirement to provide appropriate support and engagement for young males with complex experiences, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the postholder to be male under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
To build relationships with the young people, acting in a non-judgemental way to support them through their Brighter Futures journey.
Consistently role modelling and displaying Volunteering Matters organisational values
Deliver and develop the Brighter Futures Schools programme across the City of Edinburgh, meeting ambitious targets and milestones, ensuring all young people engaged achieve positive outcomes
Develop and deliver our Social Action group work project in different schools across Edinburgh.
Work alongside staff form residential units, parents and carers to help support building a relationship with the young people referred to our one-to-one work
Build relationships with different high schools across area through both our group work and one to one program.
To maintain excellent relationships with charity and not-for-profit partners in Edinburgh - ensuring diverse, high quality volunteer roles are available that reflect the needs and interests of young people.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including colleagues, volunteers, families, school staff, social work, NHS, Education partners, third sector organisations and others.
Support the young people to complete awards and qualifications linked to their volunteering.
To manage all elements of a young persons experience, from referral to completion of their journey
To manage the risk assessment, safeguarding, quality assurance and audit processes as appropriate

Skills / Knowledge Required
Excellent knowledge & understanding of the life challenges and issues that young people face in Scottish society including an understanding of “The Promise” as well as understanding of trauma informed practice.

Role Summary
The Regional Programme Lead is responsible for delivering The Girls’ Network’s suite of programmes in schools and colleges, including facilitating engaging and impactful workshops for girls aged 14–19 from disadvantaged backgrounds. The post-holder also leads on the recruitment, induction, training, matching, supervision and support of volunteers and will appropriately match mentors with young people. You will steer local partnerships and oversee programme administration to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of our mission.

Your time will be split across three core focus areas:
Digital Marketing & Communications: Execute our marketing strategy and audience growth priorities across all digital channels. Craft engaging monthly newsletters and use digital communications to build strong relationships with our supporters . Support the structured growth and marketing of HFTF’s consultancy and paid services to attract, secure and nurture relationships with our partners. Update and manage our WordPress website and core digital channels. Develop, optimise, and design compelling email journeys for our key services using our digital toolkit, including Ticket Tailor and EcoSend. Supervise our Communications freelancer (1 day per week) providing supportive oversight for social media content.
Individual Giving & Campaigns: Develop communications showcasing our real-world impact through collaborative storytelling to increase our visibility and strengthen audience engagement. Help grow our base of regular individual supporters to increase our unrestricted income. With the Fundraising Manager's support, you will lead digital individual giving campaigns, including the Big Give, to grow our regular supporter base and boost unrestricted income.
Climate Connect Platform Growth: Expand our digital organising platform into a sustainable paid service for partners, creating a long-term income stream. Design campaigns to increase platform uptake, engage with organisations and communities to actively use Climate Connect, ensuring a smooth user journey. Help gather impact case studies for future grant funding, and liaise with external developers to coordinate platform updates and improvements.

As a Sports coach & youth mentor, you'll play a vital role in that journey. Alongside your coaching partner, you'll deliver engaging sports sessions, mentoring and workshops that inspire young people, build trust and help them realise their potential. Whether you're supporting a young person one-to-one, leading a group activity or helping deliver enrichment events, you'll be creating opportunities for young people to succeed.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join IRMO as our Youth Project Coordinator and lead the Latin American Youth Forum (LAYF) – IRMO’s youth-led group for migrant and refugee young people aged 13–19.
LAYF offers a safe, supportive and trilingual space (Spanish, Portuguese and English) where young people can overcome barriers and begin to find their feet in the UK. Activities are designed to build confidence, support integration and foster leadership. Through the programme, participants can learn English through fun and engaging ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes, take part in weekly educational, arts-based and themed workshops, and receive one-to-one support through a targeted coaching programme focused on education, volunteering and employment.
Young people also have the opportunity to join the LAYF Youth Steering Group, where they can develop leadership skills and inspire other Spanish and Portuguese-speaking young people, while exploring London and beyond through cultural trips and residentials.
As Youth Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for registering and onboarding new participants, designing and delivering a creative weekly programme of LAYF Space Workshops, and offering one-to-one mentoring to help young people access opportunities and build confidence. You’ll work closely with IRMO’s ESOL and Advice and Advocacy teams to ensure a joined-up and holistic approach.

Money Advice Referral Tool Coordinator - Job Description
Resolve Poverty works locally to end poverty nationally through a range of strategic and policy, knowledge development and practical delivery activities. We are a growing organisation working in multiple localities across the country, often partnering with local councils and other public bodies and working with them and their VCFSE sector partners.
Our Money Advice Referral Tool (MART) currently operates in eight local authority areas. This will increase over the next year, with new localities coming on stream. The MART provides professionals and volunteers in non-money advice roles with the ability to understand and to effectively support people experiencing or at risk of financial hardship to access relevant money related support services. The MART is built upon the idea that the best way to support someone experiencing poverty is to maximise their income and to address any debts they may have. It also recognises that professionals and volunteers in non-money advice roles often encounter people with money worries and can act as a conduit for people to access the support they need. As such, the tools are used by people in a range of settings, including schools, health centres and local charities and community groups.
As the programme grows, we are recruiting to a new MART Coordinator role. This is an exciting role that will give someone an opportunity to develop networking, coordination and organisational skills. You will be passionate about tackling poverty and building effective partnerships.
Particulars:
Location: A combination of home based and working at Resolve Poverty’s office in St Thomas Centre, Ardwick Green North, Manchester M12 6FZ at least two days per week, with an expectation of travel to multiple localities across the North West.
Contract: Full-time.
Length of contract: 12 months with likelihood of extension beyond this period.
Probationary period: 4 months.
Purpose: To maintain existing MARTs and to work on the development of new MARTs.
Salary: £29,500 to £32,500 dependent on experience.
Hours per week: 35 hours.
Paid annual leave entitlement: 25 days excluding bank holidays.
Line manager: Programme Officer with dotted line management to the Marketing and Partnerships Manager.
Key responsibilities:
Administrative:
Support the maintenance of existing Money Advice Referral Tools (MARTs), working closely with the Programme Officer
Organise and oversee a programme of regular working group meetings
Maintain a record of MART engagement, tracking data and communication activities.
Delivery:
Design and deliver new MARTs, working closely with the Programme Officer and external partners
Ensure MARTs are kept up to date and resolve any accessibility issues as required
Ensure use of the tools is embedded, and that there is a plan in each borough to keep the tools updated
Communicate MART data to local authorities and other stakeholders as appropriate
Socialisation and communication
Create a calendar of MART socialisation activities.
Run information sessions for professionals and volunteers who will use the tools
Work with Resolve Poverty’s Development Team to identify opportunities to create new MARTs
Attend regular internal team and project team meetings as required.
Support the delivery of Resolve Poverty’s broader work as and when requested.
