What You’ll Be Doing

As our Individual Giving Assistant – Supporter Acquisition, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our fundraising campaigns and projects, helping to recruit new supporters to the Charity. You’ll be one of the first points of contact for our donors, providing exceptional supporter care and ensuring every supporter feels valued. Your day-to-day will include:

• Responding to supporter enquiries by phone, email and in-person, ensuring all queries are handled efficiently and with care. 
• Thanking donors and personalising communications to build strong relationships and ensuring a positive and lasting first impression.
• Accurately recording and processing donations, and updating supporter records on our database.
• Supporting the delivery of fundraising campaigns, including creating timing plans, proofreading copy and assiting with briefs. 
• Managing invoices and helping with campaign reporting.
• Supporting the team with administrative tasks.
• Working with colleagues and volunteers to deliver the best possible supporter experience.

ROLE DUTIES

• To guide and advise parishes on their safeguarding enquiries and referrals.
• Manage, investigate, lead, and conclude designated cases
• To maintain up to date records relating to your designated caseload on the church’s National Safeguarding Case Management System, and the recording of case supervision.
• To form and maintain productive, professional relationships with parishes, especially Parish clergy, Senior clergy, and parish volunteers, particularly the Parish Safeguarding Officers (PSOs).

CRITERIA

• A minimum of two years’ experience of safeguarding children and adults in the voluntary or statutory sector.
• Experience in risk evaluation/assessment relating to offenders/offending behaviour.
• Experience of managing safeguarding situations as part of a caseload.
•  Experience and understanding of safeguarding procedures in relation to children and adults

The Role

Reporting to the Director, this is an exciting opportunity to lead and strengthen our fundraising strategy, ensuring sustainable growth in income to support our mission of protecting and restoring tropical forests and inspiring climate action.

The Fundraising Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing an ambitious fundraising strategy, with a strong focus on corporate partnerships and trusts.

Working closely with the Director, Deputy Director, Finance and Grants Manager and Communications and Digital Marketing Manager, you will drive forward fundraising targets, cultivate new opportunities, and consolidate existing partnerships. This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on delivery, ensuring our fundraising approach is robust, ethical, and aligned with our values.

Key Responsibilities

 1. Strategy Development and Income Generation

● Develop and deliver a comprehensive fundraising strategy for the charity (with a strong but not exclusive focus on corporate partnerships),  aligned with the charity’s 5-year strategic plan.

● Research, identify, and build a pipeline of new funding opportunities to diversify and expand income streams, such as corporate partners, trusts and foundations,  high net worth individuals and individual giving.

● Prepare due diligence checks on potential new funding opportunities to be presented to the board / senior management.

● Develop compelling cases for support and tailored proposals to secure significant income from corporate partners primarily.

2. Systems and Process Improvement

● Establish and implement new systems for organising, stewarding, and monitoring corporate funders, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

● Introduce clear processes for donor stewardship, including trackers, reporting templates and potentially a new CRM system. 

● Ensure all fundraising activities comply with fundraising regulations, data protection requirements, and ethical fundraising principles.

3. Relationship Management and Stewardship

● Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective corporate funders through effective stewardship and engagement.

● Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent relationship management for corporate partners.

● Work with the Communications and Marketing Manager to maximise fundraising campaigns such as the Big Give. 

4. Events and Engagement

● Lead on the planning and delivery of a flagship summer event designed to attract funders, with the aim of securing new partnerships and long-term support.

● Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the event is well-promoted, impactful, and aligned with the charity’s mission.

● Organise and attend meetings, presentations, and other events to engage with funders and promote the charity’s work. 

5. Reporting and Evaluation

● Monitor and report on fundraising income targets, maintaining accurate records of all funders and partnerships.

● Working with the relevant programmes teams, provide regular impact reports to funders, demonstrating the outcomes of their support.

● Evaluate the success of fundraising initiatives and identify areas for improvement.

6. Team Collaboration

● Work collaboratively across the team to develop funding proposals and case studies.

● Work closely with the Communications and Digital Fundraising Manager to develop online donations and regular gifts and improve the digital marketing and eNewsletter (for increasing donations). 

● Contribute to innovative fundraising campaigns and activities.

● Support and participate in wider organisational activities, including events and cross‑team initiatives as required.

● Contribute to annual budget setting and targets for fundraising.

● Line management of volunteers as required.

Training will be provided to ensure that all candidates feel supported in their role and progress in their career development. Welsh language training will be offered to support learning if necessary. IT training in WordPress and other essential software will also be offered. Travel across Wales will be required.

Seldom but occasional evening and weekend work may be required.Size of Wales has a flexible working policy.

St Giles is delivering an ambitious Voluntary Fundraising Strategy for 2026–2029, focused on diversifying income and growing voluntary fundraising by 15% across restricted and unrestricted streams. We are looking for an experienced and creative New Partnerships Manager to play a key role in achieving this ambition.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate corporate fundraiser with a strong track record of securing new income and managing five and six-figure partnerships. You will lead on developing our corporate partnerships portfolio, identifying and securing new partners while building long-term, strategically aligned relationships.

Key responsibilities

Corporate partnerships & new business

• Contribute to and deliver a three-year corporate fundraising strategy with the ambition to raise £1 million annually
• Develop and implement a new business and communications strategy aligned to St Giles’ core pillars: Poverty, Justice, and Violence & Exploitation
• Identify and engage local and regional corporate partners across England and Wales

Partnership management & growth

• Work closely with the Partnerships Manager to onboard new partnerships, establishing clear objectives, targets and ways of working

• Work with Service Managers to develop service delivery models and budgets to support funding applications

Hoxton Health helps hundreds of local people to manage long term conditions and stay mobile and independent as they age.  We are seeking a new director for our calm and friendly complementary therapy clinic based in St Leonards community hospital.

About Us
Hoxton Health is a well-valued local charity, established over 30 years ago, providing low-cost complementary therapy treatments for older people and those with long term conditions. We fundraise and build partnerships to subsidise treatments, offering lower costs to older patients. Based in St Leonard’s Hospital in Hackney, our friendly team consists of independent practitioners delivering therapies through the week, two other part-time office staff, and a team of volunteers who run the reception.

What will you be doing?

Job description

We are looking for a confident and detail-focused Compliance Officer to support our apprenticeship provision on a part-time basis (7.5 - 15 hours per week)

The role will suit someone with strong experience in apprenticeship funding rules, data entry, and the use of apprenticeship and management information systems to make accurate funding claims. You will be the go-to person for compliance, working closely with Paddington Academy and United Teaching to build on the processes we already have in place. Reporting to the Chair of the Trustee Board, the Chief Officer

• Is responsible to the Trustee Board for the management and leadership of Citizens Advice Woking,
• Represents Citizens Advice Woking to funders, partners and stakeholders,

• Is responsible for the continuing funding, planning and financial management of the service,

The Chief Officer has an important leadership role, working closely with the Operations Manager, who has line responsibility for the staff and, generally, the internal CAW operation.  The volunteers are managed on a day-to-day basis by the Advice Session Supervisors, who are critical to ensuring the quality of advice to clients, and the smooth running of the office.

Summary

This exciting new role will raise the funds to enable The River Thames Boat Project to expand our cruises and education programme on the River Thames, and cover our annual running costs.

Through your fundraising expertise, you will have a proven track record of raising capital funds, building relationships with individuals, community groups, trusts and foundations and other donors to achieve and exceed annual capital and income targets. You will have the skills to create compelling proposals and appeals that successfully engage and attract donations from new and existing supporters.

Background

Established in 1988, our charity's mission is to make the River Thames accessible to all.

We provide opportunities for individuals to experience river and waterways environments to enhance their personal, social, and educational wellbeing.

Using our fully wheelchair-accessible community boats we deliver educational programmes for children and young people across London and the South East, and therapeutic cruises for people of all ages who have limited access to the Thames due to health issues, disabilities, isolation or social exclusion.

A small staff team of four and more than 100 volunteers support the charity. In 2021, we received The Queens Award for Voluntary Service. The charity, more than thirty five years old, is run by a volunteer Board of Trustees.

We rely on grants, donations and community fundraising to subsidise the cost of our charitable activities on the River Thames.

We are seeking a fundraising professional to grow our charitable income across all streams (grants, foundations, corporate sponsors), raise significant capital funds, reinvigorate our members program, diversify our fundraising income and establish a volunteer fundraising committee.

As Fundraising Manager you will also be responsible for marketing the charity to prospective clients through mailings, social media and other routes.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and execute a fundraising strategy that aligns with the charity's business plan and future ambitions
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing funders
3. Research potential trust and foundation funders, write compelling bids and ensure effective reporting and stewardship
4. Revitalise the charity's members' program (Friends of RTBP)
5. Create and lead a volunteer fundraising committee to support our initiatives.

About the role

Community Services at The Passage are delivered from our Resource Centre in Victoria, which provides a single, accessible entry point for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The Resource Centre acts as a central hub, enabling people to be assessed once and supported to access the most appropriate accommodation, services or onward referrals based on their individual needs. 

People are supported by skilled client facing staff who work with them to understand their circumstances and identify the right pathway of support. Alongside assessment and casework, the Resource Centre provides immediate welfare services to help meet urgent needs and stabilise people at times of crisis. 

Following assessment, Community Services deliver a range of specialist and preventative interventions, including rapid rehousing for those at imminent risk of homelessness, advice and advocacy, employment and skills support, housing-related casework delivered in partnership with the local authority, and assertive engagement for people less able to access services independently. The overall aim is to prevent homelessness wherever possible and to support people to move quickly into safe, stable accommodation.

Key responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Service Development 

• Lead delivery of The Passage’s 3-year strategy as it relates to Community Services, ensuring services are preventative, trauma-informed, and outcomes-focused. 
• Develop, implement and monitor an annual Community Services business plan, reporting to the Quality & Services Committee and Board as required. 
• Provide strategic leadership for No Night Out, ensuring it continues to deliver rapid, effective interventions aligned to Westminster’s homelessness strategy and wider system reform. 
• The post holder will be responsible for embedding equality, diversity and inclusion across Community Services, ensuring services are accessible, inclusive and responsive to the diverse needs of people we support, and that inclusive practice is reflected in service delivery, staff development and partnership working. 
• Identify, develop and lead new service opportunities, including bid development and commissioner engagement for Community Services. 
• Lead planning and operational delivery for Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP) and other system-wide responses.

Safeguarding, Risk and Community Impact

• Act as Safeguarding Lead for Community Services, ensuring robust policies, training, escalation pathways and safe practice across all services.
