The London Irish Centre is seeking an experienced, compassionate and knowledgeable Advice Worker to join our committed team. In this role, you will work directly with clients to deliver accredited advice and practical guidance, helping them navigate complex systems and secure the support they need. The Advice Service is dedicated to enhancing income, alleviating poverty, and ensuring secure housing for community members throughout London. Our goal is to empower individuals by facilitating access to appropriate support through a strength-based and person-centered approach. Movember's UK and Europe public fundraising operation is one of the most ambitious in the global movement. Hundreds of thousands of Mo Bros and Mo Sistas, a full calendar of endurance events, deep community partnerships across education, sport and workplace, and a year-round supporter engagement program that keeps people coming back long after November ends. Leading all of it takes someone exceptional.
As Director of Public Fundraising, UK and Europe, you'll own the strategy and delivery for community fundraising, endurance events, and all public fundraising activity across the region. You'll lead the local implementation of the Movember campaign, drive year-round retention and engagement of the Mo Community, and take an active role in shaping the broader UK and Europe Country Strategy. You'll also play a key part in Movember's European growth ambitions, helping to identify and unlock new markets and opportunities across the region.
People leadership is central to this role. You will work alongside clients throughout their time within the service, providing responsive, compassionate support that helps them feel safe, understood, and empowered. Through collaborative and recovery-focused practice, you will support clients to identify coping strategies, build resilience, and develop the confidence and resources needed to move forward safely once the immediate crisis has passed.
All support and interventions must be delivered in line with Hestia's values, the principles of recovery and co-production, and all relevant policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements. What do I need to bring with me?
