Role Purpose

The Communications and Marketing Officer plays a key role in supporting the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine UK (FSEM) by delivering effective, professional and engaging communications and marketing activity. The post holder will work autonomously to plan, create and manage content for a wide range of audiences including healthcare professionals, patients, policy makers, partners, and the wider public.

They will work closely with external key partners and take responsibility for project marketing, including leading the marketing and promotion of the Moving Medicine patient and professional resources. The role also supports all internal departments to meet their communications and marketing needs, ensuring a consistent, accurate and credible voice for FSEM across all channels.

Duties

Communications

• Deliver and support the implementation of FSEM’s communications strategy.
• Produce high‑quality written content for the website, newsletters, digital channels, policy communications, announcements and general audience information.
• Draft, edit and coordinate organisational publications, reports, position statements and guidance documents.
• Support committees and working groups in producing clinical or professional content, ensuring clarity, consistency and alignment with FSEM standards.
• Draft speeches, blogs, statements and briefings for Senior Officers as required.
• Manage and maintain FSEM’s digital communication channels, ensuring content is accurate, accessible and up to date.
• Monitor policy, news and sector developments to identify opportunities and risks.
• Provide advice on communication approaches to senior officers, committees and working groups.

Marketing

• Plan and deliver targeted marketing campaigns for key FSEM programmes including Moving Medicine, examinations, membership, awards ceremony and educational activity.
• Produce and coordinate promotional materials including digital assets, social media graphics, printed items and campaign copy.
• Manage marketing timelines, stakeholder input and delivery schedules.
• Ensure all marketing adheres to FSEM brand guidelines and reflects organisational values.
• Support and promote major Faculty events including the Awards Ceremony.

Digital and Analytics

• Oversee continuous improvement of the FSEM website, ensuring strong user experience, logical navigation and accurate content.
• Apply SEO best practice to enhance visibility and reach.
• Use digital analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and communications, reporting on performance and identifying improvements.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, digital accessibility requirements and content governance processes.

Collaboration and Organisational Support

• Work closely with all FSEM departments to support their communications, marketing and promotional needs.
• Provide expert communications support to sub‑committees, working groups and project teams across publications, marketing and engagement activity.
• Represent FSEM at internal and external meetings relating to communications, project work or collaborative activity.
• Support the planning and delivery of FSEM events, including on‑site support at the Awards Ceremony.
• Take delegated supervisory responsibility over administrative staff during events or specific project delivery where appropriate.
• Contribute to Faculty‑wide initiatives and organisational development activities.
• Participate in appraisal, maintain high professional standards and commit to ongoing learning.

Salary, benefits, and other key information

IPNEd is hosted by Results UK. The line manager for this role will be IPNEd’s Senior Policy & Advocacy Adviser.

1. Starting date 

The position is available immediately, and is offered as an initial 12-month contract with the intention of being extended if funding permits.

2. Salary 

This role is graded at Results Professional Level Two with a salary of £32,785 per annum.

3. Hours of work

This is a full time role 35 hours a week. These hours will be worked as agreed with the line manager, but some flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the job. There is no paid overtime, but Results UK offers a flexitime system for all staff. 

4. Holidays 

25 days per year plus bank holidays. Holidays increase by one day per year of service to a maximum of 30 days. Holidays are earned in arrears. 

5. Notice Period and Probationary Period

This role has a one-month notice period. The employee will have a probationary period of three months, during which time the notice period is one week.

6. Location

The post is a hybrid role with the expectation that the postholder can work from Results’ office at Clarence Centre for Enterprise and Innovation, 6 St George’s Circus, London, SE1 6FE when required.

Currently, most Results UK staff are combining working from home with time in the office. 

7. Travel

Occasional International travel will be required. The post holder must be able and willing to travel to Global North and Global South countries.

As a Community Participation Coordinator (Education Focus), you’ll grow engagement across Catholic schools, parishes and communities in the Birmingham and Portsmouth dioceses. You’ll inspire people to give, act and pray, while recruiting and supporting volunteers and building strong relationships with clergy, school leaders and diocesan partners.

Working within CAFOD’s national Education Team, you’ll collaborate locally to increase school participation and strengthen volunteer networks. This role is primarily school-focused, with occasional parish engagement.

This is a home-based role that requires regular travel across the dioceses and occasional visits to CAFOD’s London office. Flexibility is key, with some evening or weekend work and occasional transport of resources (expenses and time off in lieu provided).

Role Responsibilities

Delivering participation plans

• Share accountability for delivery of annual participation plans for the region (a group of dioceses) with a primary focus on one diocese or area, and share in the delivery of fundraising, education, campaigns and media objectives and targets, as delineated by the participation plan for the region. This role will have a focus on schools’ engagement.
• Contribute to the development of activities to achieve objectives in support of and appropriate for local contexts. Through increased numbers and activity of school volunteers, more Catholic schools will be visited by a CAFOD volunteer.
• Maintain regular outreach, promotion and relationship-building with volunteers and key leaders in parish and school communities and Catholic church and education networks.

Managing volunteers

• Be the lead volunteer manager for an identified portfolio of volunteer roles locally and ensure effective coordination and communication.
• Match the offers, skills, experiences and expectations of volunteers with opportunities and needs in relation to CAFOD’s plans for schools.
• Organise and promote volunteer meetings and training opportunities online/offline to either to deliver themselves or by another member of the Education Section.

Managing relationships and promotion

• Represent CAFOD in the diocese and ensure CAFOD retains a diverse range of relationships including with priests, school staff, academy trusts and others within a diocese. 
• Ensure CAFOD is promoted via various diocesan communication channels, working with diocesan communications officers and school communities.

FORCE Cancer Charity is seeking an experienced Events Fundraiser (fixed term for 12 months) to join our friendly and dedicated Income Generation team. This role is central to delivering and growing our events programme, generating vital income to support people affected by cancer across Exeter and the wider Devon community.

You will take the lead on planning, managing and delivering our existing in‑house events, including our flagship Nello Cycle Ride, while also developing new fundraising opportunities through events, campaigns and supporter‑led activities. With our 40th anniversary in 2027, you will play a key role in shaping an ambitious and engaging programme of events that celebrates FORCE’s impact and inspires even more people to get involved.

A vital part of the role will involve building strong relationships with supporters, volunteers, suppliers and local businesses. You will provide exceptional stewardship, ensuring everyone involved feels supported, appreciated and motivated to continue their fundraising journey with FORCE.

Working closely with the wider Income Generation team, you will contribute to marketing activity, volunteer engagement, supporter communications and the development of new fundraising initiatives. You will also maintain accurate event and participant records, respond to enquiries with warmth and professionalism, and ensure all events are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

We are seeking someone with relevant experience in events or project management - ideally gained in a charity, events or customer‑facing environment - who can confidently build relationships and manage multiple projects simultaneously. About the Investment team

The Investment team is responsible for selecting portfolio partners, managing our charity investments and supporting our portfolio partners to improve and scale their impact. 

The Investment team also leads the Impetus Leadership Academy, a leadership development programme to support talent from ethnic minority backgrounds in the UK youth sector to progress into senior leadership roles. 

The team is made up of 18 people, including former teachers, charity chief executives, charity impact leads, management consultants, social investment portfolio managers and impact consultants.   

The team is led by a Portfolio Director who sits on the Senior Management Team. The Portfolio Director has 5 direct reports: a Deputy Portfolio Director, three Sector Leads (who lead our work in school engagement, school attainment and employment sectors) and an Impact Lead. Sector Leads line manage 6 Investment Directors between them. Investment Directors line manage Investment Managers (currently 7). Investment Directors and Investment Managers tend to primarily focus on a sector but might have mixed portfolios, depending on need, experience and interest. 

The Investment team has a good track record of role progression. All four Leads and a number of our Investment Directors were promoted from within the team.

About the Role

We are looking for Programme Governance Lead to manage and oversee the successful delivery of all programmes/projects within the Programmes Directorate by establishing and leading consistent governance and assurance. Key Responsibilities

As our Programme Governance Lead, you will:

• Define, implement and maintain an agreed methodology for programme/project lifecycle governance.

• Support teams to evidence compliance with funder/contractual requirements; ensure appropriate documentation, approvals and version control are in place and accessible.
• Implement and maintain a robust lessons-learned process (during and post-delivery) and ensure findings are integrated into future programmes/projects through updated standards, templates, training and assurance checkpoints.

Purpose of the Role

The Communications & Engagement Officer is a key role within Breaking Barriers’ Income and Engagement Directorate. It helps refugees find meaningful employment through communications and fundraising activities that maintain and grow relationships with partners, funders, supporters and relevant influential organisations and individuals.

The post holder reports to the Senior Communications Manager, and works closely with the Head of Public Engagement, Senior Digital Marketing Manager and Fundraising & Partnerships Officer. They also lead or participate in activities involving colleagues across Breaking Barriers’ teams and our refugee clients.

This role contributes to the implementation of our communications, engagement and fundraising strategies, and is closely involved in team planning – including input into operational plans and communications campaigns to steward and inspire key audiences.

The Communications & Engagement Officer is responsible for the planning and creation of day-to-day communications across our owned channels, with a particular focus on social media. They are also responsible for managing social media interactions and outreach, and for creating selected content for Breaking Barriers’ website.

The post holder helps the Senior Communications Manager to ensure that organisational content complies with brand guidelines. And they play a key role in data management – maintaining our multi-media asset bank and the storytelling data within our Salesforce CRM.

This role will suit a team player who is able to build strong relationships across Breaking Barriers to support content creation, ethical storytelling and impact. The post-holder should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, solution-focused and creative, whilst having a good eye for detail. Person Specification
Essential

· Demonstrable knowledge of and/or interest in refugee, employment or migration sectors

· Experience in a communications or fundraising role (this doesn't have to be in the UK)

· A demonstrable understanding of key communications and fundraising principles, whether through direct experience or study, and including:

o Understanding audiences

o User journeys

o Developing key messaging

o Audience stewardship

o Working with brand guidelines

· Experience of creating high quality campaigns or content to inspire or drive action

· Experience creating written and multi-media (photography/graphics/video) content for social media, websites and/or emails

· Strong copywriting, editing and proofing skills, and the ability to tailor content for different audiences and channels

· Excellent relationship-building skills, and confidence working with colleagues at all levels of seniority

· Ability to work on own initiative, take responsibility for work, and learn from challenges and successes

· A proactive and creative approach to problem solving and idea generation

· Comfortable within a fast-paced team and able to prioritise multiple projects

· Ability to pay close attention to detail, to maintain communications quality and accuracy

Job Title: Audio Producer – Fundraising Projects

Salary: £38,000 (£22,800 pro rata) per annum

Premier, Europe’s largest Christian Media organisation, is seeking an experienced Audio Producer to join our team to focus on fundraising projects. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our mission to connect people with God through media. You will help drive the success of Premier’s on-air fundraising campaigns and our Charity of the Year appeals, by producing compelling editorial content and messaging.  You will be expected to help shape live and optimise appeals that inspire and encourage our listeners to engage with the appeal and campaign messages.

You will collaborate with presenters, stakeholders, and clients to ensure every broadcast is compelling, high quality and strategically aligned with Premier’s mission and goals.

This role is key to delivering powerful stories and impact audio, supporting our fundraising goals and upholding Premier’s commitment to excellence and compliance – enabling the ministry to engage audiences and secure vital support for it’s ongoing work. You’ll be directly contributing to Premier’s ability to help listeners deepen their Christian faith. If you have a strong background in broadcasting, with an interest in creating compelling stories to encourage donations this role could be for you!

Role Overview

· Audio production: You will take the lead in producing and directing both live and pre-recorded content for fundraising appeals across Premier’s three stations, working closely with presenters and internal stakeholders to deliver engaging and emotionally resonant broadcasts.

· Client Campaign Production: You’ll be hands-on in crafting compelling running sheets, managing live production flow, and coaching on-air talent to maximise impact of client campaigns.

· Quality and Compliance: Oversee the production and technical quality of fundraising audio, including editing, packaging and scheduling, while upholding Ofcom regulations and Premier’s standards of quality and equality.
