AMMF is the UK’s only charity solely dedicated to raising awareness of and funding research into cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer).  The charity works closely throughout the UK with clinicians, healthcare professionals, researchers, policy makers, patients and their carers, as well as actively collaborating across Europe and globally.  

The role of the Fundraising Support and Admin Officer is to deliver high quality, responsive fundraising support across all areas of fundraising, and to drive forward AMMF’s fundraising activities, strategy and relationship development with supporters and funding partners, including the development and use of social media, and Microsoft Office, to achieve this.

It is expected the Fundraising Support and Admin Officer will develop an understanding of AMMF’s aims and objectives and its policies and procedures.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Successfully co-ordinate and manage all fundraising activities – which include individual giving, digital fundraising, events, In Memory, legacy giving and online shop sales.
2. Support all aspects of contact with AMMF’s supporters and fundraisers, via social media platforms, the discussion groups and forums, email, including e-shots, mail and telephone.
3. Manage and maintain the fundraisers’ events diary.
4. Develop, maintain and manage a comprehensive database of supporters and fundraisers using a CRM system.
5. Manage and record all information relating to fundraisers’ activities, results and income, including recording Gift Aid.
6. Record, reconcile and provide accurate financial information to the CEO and trustees as required. 
7. Identify and progress fundraising opportunities to generate sustainable income.
8. Support the Head of Events and Campaigns with the delivery of fundraising campaigns, ensuring they are cost effective and maximise income.
9. Support the development of a fundraising and communication strategy.
10. Manage all aspects of the charity’s online shop.
11. Attend external AMMF networking, partner and fundraising events when required.
12. Attend the annual AMMF conference and fulfil duties as required.   
13. Produce ad hoc reports to support senior management team as and when required.
14. Carry out projects and/or any ad hoc tasks as required by the CEO and Head of Events and Campaigns.

General:

1.  Effectively communicate internally and externally, providing a professional and courteous service at all times.
2. Support team members, fundraisers, supporters and volunteers to be as effective as possible in their work for AMMF.
3. To be prepared to work flexibly, when required, to best meet the needs of the charity.

Person Specification:

Essential criteria

1. Previous experience and understanding of working within the charity sector and, in particular, of fundraising using a range of techniques including social media, and knowledge of fundraising platforms such as Justgiving, Enthuse, Benevity, Charities Trust, Much Loved, CAF. 
2. Competent with Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and with emailing services such as Mailchimp, virtual meeting platforms Teams and Zoom, and social media platforms, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Bluesky, and Hootsuite.
3. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
4. To be sensitive to the areas of work AMMF is involved in.
5. Ability to motivate and enthuse colleagues, fundraisers and supporters.
6. Willing and able to work outside usual office hours to support external events where, when and if required.
7. Current driving license and access to /use of a vehicle (useful not essential).
8. To possess or achieve a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Volunteering Administrator FTC

The Volunteer Management team is responsible for embedding an organisational approach to volunteer engagement which enables volunteers to feel inspired, valued, supported, and connected to the charity, where they are a vital part of our community.

The Volunteering Administrator plays a significant part in contributing to the success of the team to deliver key parts of the volunteer journey (recruiting, induction, training, supporting, and retaining volunteers). The role is key to volunteer experience, maintaining good practice, developing a culture of positive engagement and raising the profile of volunteering internally and externally.

The role will be known internally as Volunteer Executive.

This is a 24-month FTC.

Key Responsibilities:

Administration, customer service and delivery

· Act as the first port of contact for internal and external enquiries, coordinating the shared volunteer email inbox.

· Acting as a key point of contact for the import, maintenance and integrity of volunteering data.

· Publish volunteer recruitment adverts on relevant external platforms.

· Coordinate the administration of volunteer recruitment and selection processes (including paperwork, referencing, ID badges etc) to ensure a fair and consistent approach is followed.

· Share key information, briefings, and timely reminders with volunteers ahead of their scheduled involvement.

· Send thank you messages to volunteers after they have contributed.

· Update Salesforce after volunteer activities to ensure accurate tracking of participation and engagement.

· Process volunteer expense claims in line with organisational procedures.

Collaboration and communication

· Collaborate with colleagues to ensure volunteer applications are responded to within agreed timescales.

· Work with colleagues to ensure accuracy, validity and reliability of volunteer data. Ensuring that it reflects volunteer contribution and delivers reliable insights.

· Take a proactive approach to understand external events and initiatives taking place across the charity, providing support on the requirements for successful volunteer involvement.

· Contribute to the production and distribution of resources for volunteer-involving events, including, but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, and training materials.

· Support the upkeep of volunteering information on internal communication channels, ensuring all relevant policies, reference materials and documents are made available and kept up to date.

· Post updates in our Facebook group, and other volunteer engagement forums, to help build our volunteer community and promote good practice.

· Gather volunteer case studies and testimonials and share them internally to support organisational learning and storytelling.

· Liaise with volunteers when they end their involvement, ensuring they feel supported and appreciated.

· Monitor feedback survey responses and escalate significant insights or concerns to relevant colleagues to support continuous improvement.

· Promote a positive culture that values and embeds the work of volunteers both internally and externally.

Knowledge, skills and experience needed:

· Knowledge of IT packages such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

· Experience of working in a customer-service or people-facing environment.

As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

You will oversee the development and delivery of high-profile media and communications campaigns, including our annual Christmas appeal, and help to build our brand.

You will have significant experience of working in a challenging, fast-paced news and media environment to secure high-profile coverage. To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge and experience of working with the media to help secure policy change at a national government level, demonstrate ability to secure high profile consumer media to support income generation and have proven experience when it comes to handling reputational risk. This newly created role will support the Individual Giving team by leading the day-to-day delivery of legacy stewardship, supporter journeys, and mid-level donor care. The post holder will support the Individual Giving Manager with mid-level and retention campaigns when required. The Philanthropy Officer is an essential role within Amref UK's Supporter Engagement Team. We are seeking a proven senior leader, ideally from a membership, not-for-profit, or service-led organisation. Knowledge of the road safety or transport sector is desirable but not essential. As part of our growing Brand & Marketing team, you’ll be at the heart of the action - keeping operations running smoothly, supporting colleagues across multiple marketing and fundraising functions, and ensuring our campaigns land with real impact. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your organisational flair, creativity and energy to a mission‑driven team committed to changing young lives for the better.

In this varied and fast-paced role, you’ll manage inboxes, diaries and key administrative processes, coordinate team meetings and events, support with presentations and documentation, and act as a first point of contact for internal stakeholders. You’ll also work closely with our finance team to keep budgets and supplier processes on track, oversee departmental filing systems, support the Brand & Marketing Director with day‑to‑day admin, and help maintain the smooth flow of information across the wider team. Every task you take on contributes directly to our ability to deliver meaningful campaigns and initiatives for young people across the UK.

We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, organised and enthusiastic someone who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and supporting colleagues at all levels. You’ll bring strong Microsoft Office skills, experience managing admin within a busy team, and confidence working with a variety of internal stakeholders. We are looking for a Prevention and Intervention Programme Manager to line manage the Advisors (Sexual Violence Liaison Officers) and be responsible for an SVLO programme to support students who have experienced sexual violence, sexual harassment, gender-based violence and/or domestic abuse at any point in their lives. The Programme Manager will need to work closely with the Advice Service Manager to support the Specialist Advisors in working alongside the generalist advice provision. The Programme Manager will oversee the Active Bystander Programme as well as the expansion of new and existing programmes, including developing personalised packages for departments and an attractive offer for external partner organisations. 

Have you got demonstrable experience of working with individuals who have experienced one or more of the following: sexual violence, harassment, gender-based violence or domestic abuse? Have you got an understanding of the impact of sexual violence and sexual harassment on survivors, and how to support them with a trauma informed approach? If the answer is yes, then we want to hear from you. 

Our ideal candidate will continue to develop and embed the trauma-informed Consent and Tackling Sexual Misconduct strand to enhance and grow the Active Bystander Programme. The right candidate will scope and develop propositions for new and innovative prevention and intervention programmes. The successful role holder will also manage the planning and implementation of an SVLO programme, in collaboration with UCL colleagues (such as Student Support and Wellbeing Services, the Casework team, and the Crime Prevention & Personal Safety team).

About the Team
Supporter Fundraising are a vital team within our fundraising department, who manage our involvement in all owned and third-party events, plan and deliver our virtual fundraising campaigns (such as Walk 5K April in 100 Miles in October) and steward and facilitate our community-led fundraising activity. Supporter experience is at the heart of everything we do, which helps us to drive engagement and retention and ultimately allows us to raise more funds to support autistic people and their families.

About the Role 
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and supporter-focused Events Officer to support delivery across all elements of our London Marathon fundraising activity for 2027. Working under the guidance of the London Marathon Event Manager, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional supporter experience, delivering high-quality events, coordinating logistics, and ensuring our charity maximises income, engagement and brand impact throughout the full marathon campaign,  

What You’ll Do 

• Assist the London Marathon Event Manager with the planning and delivery of all campaign events
• Liaise with runners, volunteers, suppliers, third-party event partners and internal colleagues as needed
• Support the Event Manager with post-event evaluation, data analysis, and recommendations for future years

What We’re Looking For 

• Experience in events, fundraising, customer service or similar supporter-facing roles
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manager multiple tasks and deadlines
• Awareness of supporter journeys and audience-focused communication

This role is for a fixed term full-time position at 35 Hours per week, for 18 months.

Southall Community Alliance is a charity working in Southall that is looking to recruit 
an experienced, part-time Human Rights Outreach Officer to oversee an exciting 
new 2.5 year project we are delivering to build understanding of human rights issues 
and law. 
The person we are looking for will be well organised, motivated and aware of the 
nuanced issues affecting diverse and disadvantaged communities. Their duties 
include arranging training, workshops and outreach visits to create awareness of 
human rights legislation and the practical impacts in areas with large, transient
