About the role

As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for:

GMB's North-East, Yorkshire & Humber Region is a large and diverse region, currently seeking applications for a Production & Communications Officer. 

The successful candidate can and will be asked to undertake all elements of the role.  Please note however that the main focus of this role will be responsibility for the development and rollout of a digital organising strategy, including production and distribution of digital content to support and promote GMB campaigns, social media engagement and multimedia production to include devising, developing and producing video content. The post holder will need to attend multiple events and activities across the region, often at short notice.

The successful candidates will:

· Design and produce professional print publications to support and advance GMB campaigns for the Region, sections and activists.

· Design and produce member communications to support industrial and political campaigns, ballots and in raising workplace issues.

· Commission and work with external design and print companies where in house provision is not available.

· Commission, edit and write articles for the Regional website and other editorial content as and when required.

· Ensure that the Regional website and all digital content and social media are up to date and responsive to current events and member enquiries, to include Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp groups

· Administer Regional social media activity and implement strategies to grow audiences and email lists, and increase digital presence.

· Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to our communication channels.

· Produce campaign essentials, often on short timescales, such as emails, info graphics, leaflets, videos and microsites.

· Design and produce materials for rallies and events.

· Organise events in relation to upcoming campaigns - booking of rooms, advertising, gaining quotes from potential suppliers.

· Attend events as and when required to promote the GMB NEYH Region.

Spectra’s Family Support Social Worker will provide frontline support to people living with HIV in South West London. These will include assessment, emotional support, advice and advocacy around housing, benefits or immigration. They will also facilitate signposting and refer service users into internal and external services including Counselling, Peer support, as well as other linked-in services.

Work in this post requires a social work qualification with demonstrable knowledge of social work models and interventions including strengths-based practice models. Contact with the individuals, their families, representatives of professional and community groups and the general public is a significant aspect of this post.

About the role:

At North London Multi-Disciplinary Rough Sleeping Hub, you’ll play a key role in keeping the service safe, steady and well run overnight. You’ll be supporting people who have come directly off the streets and are navigating multiple disadvantage, helping to create an environment where they can rest, feel secure and continue moving forward.

As a Night Concierge, you’ll take ownership of the building overnight. That means managing access, carrying out regular checks, monitoring safety and responding to anything that arises. You’ll be the main point of contact for clients during your shift, offering a calm, respectful presence and stepping in when support is needed.

Alongside this, you’ll keep things running behind the scenes. You’ll record incidents and key information accurately, complete handovers for the day team and make sure nothing gets missed. You’ll use internal systems to log activity, report repairs or concerns and communicate clearly with the wider team so there’s continuity between day and night.

Some nights will be quiet and routine, others less predictable. You might be carrying out welfare checks, managing the building, responding to queries or supporting someone who needs reassurance. It’s a role that combines responsibility, independence and people-focused work, where your consistency and judgement help keep both clients and the service on track.

Positions Available: We have two positions available at 44 hours per week, these will include weekend working with shift patterns to be discussed and confirmed at interview stage.

Project 17 is a small organisation working to end homelessness and severe poverty among migrants with no recourse to public funds (NRPF). 

We are recruiting for two similar positions. One adviser will primarily work with families and provide advice on support under s.17 Children Act 1989. The other adviser will work primarily with adults with care needs and provide advice under the Care Act 2014.

The postholders will provide written and verbal advice and advocacy for migrants with no recourse to public funds. The advice will centre on accessing support from local authorities, but will also cover elements of housing law, asylum support and other areas.

The postholders will form part of our capacity building team, strengthening other organisations to work more effectively with migrants with NRPF. This will involve designing and delivering training, staffing an advice line for professionals and creating and updating resources to support effective advocacy.

Around 80% of the role will be direct advice and advocacy and 20% will be support for other organisations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Income and Engagement, you will drive sustainable income growth through regular giving, appeals and lottery programmes generating £6–£7 million annually. You will lead multi‑channel campaigns, oversee supporter care, insight and marketing, and develop high‑performing teams to strengthen supporter relationships and enhance the LNAA brand. This permanent, full‑time role is based at our HQ and Airbase in Lincolnshire and plays a vital role in supporting our life‑saving service.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in a senior management role, in-depth knowledge of running regular giving, lottery and appeals fundraising programmes, significant experience in running multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive income growth, understanding of CRM Systems and experience of building supporter or customer journeys informed by data and insight.

This role is based at our Headquarters in Lincoln, with the option of hybrid working after a probationary period, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.

About Rockinghorse Children’s Charity

Rockinghorse Children’s Charity supports sick and disabled children across Sussex. We support babies, children and young people, along with their families, at The Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital and The Trevor Mann Baby Unit in Brighton and all of the specialist children’s wards and baby units throughout Sussex. 

We deliver and fund projects that enable doctors and nurses to do more. All of projects are led by the needs of children and young people and their families – the lifesaving medical equipment, the support for parents and families, the toys for children spending time in hospitals across Sussex, the environments and spaces that help children feel more at home when they are in hospital and additional staff to make sure children get the best possible care when they are unwell. 

Originally set up in 1967 by Dr Trevor Mann, we have been supporting children for more than 55 years, and in that time, we have supported nearly a million children and their families. As the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital, including the Trevor Mann Baby Unit, we work with the NHS, charity partners and the Sussex community to ensure children can be children no matter now sick they are. 

We do not receive any government, statutory or local authority funding and so we rely on the generous support of individuals, community groups, companies and trusts: people like you, who care about children and want Sussex to be a safe place for children to grow up. 

About the Role

In 2025 we launched our five-year strategic plan, which prioritised our activities to enable us to support more babies, children and teenagers. As we enter the final year of this strategy the charity continues to expand and develop its projects and services children all over Sussex.

This role will support the Head of Finance & Operations and be responsible for organising and managing the charity’s volunteers and the volunteer programme, working across the charity to ensure we have the right individuals to support our work. The Coin Street Nursery has a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic team player, who wants to gain experience in a non-domestic kitchen supporting our in-house nursery chef. Your role will be to support the chef running the nursery kitchen, providing food for the children and childcare staff in our 59-place nursery. Ideally you will be familiar with working in a similar setting, though this is not essential.

We are looking for someone who has passion for ensuring young children eat healthy and balanced meals, takes initiative and is eager to learn. We’ll provide training – Food Hygiene or Food Safety – if you haven’t already done these. You’ll be working with an experienced chef, assisting with food preparation and inventory, plus cleaning, hygiene and health & safety.

Citizens Advice Milton Keynes has been a cornerstone of support for the community, offering free, confidential, and impartial advice since 1972. Our Works for Us team is committed to delivering a reliable, high-quality, multi-channel service to individuals in Milton Keynes, focusing on improving their skills, providing employment-focused training, and engaging in personal development activities.

As an IAGO, you will work closely with the Works for Us Team Manager to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of employability services to the public. This includes providing face-to-face advice, phone support and email services. The role demands adaptability to fast-changing priorities, compliance with quality standards, and a commitment to delivering in-depth employability advice and guidance.

The successful candidate will also need to be confident and able to provide coaching and training support to small groups of service users on a sessional basis.

Applicants need to:

• Be competent and confident in using IT and specifically using IT applications and resources on websites.
• Have clear and accurate communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Be able to listen, understand and use information to conduct effective client interviews.
