The Law Society is seeking a high-calibre Governance Secretary to play a central role in shaping and maintaining modern, efficient and transparent governance across the organisation.

Reporting to the Head of Governance, you will manage the scheduling, coordination and delivery of Board, Committee and wider governance body meetings, while promoting best practice, maintaining compliance standards, and ensuring confidence in governance processes across the organisation.

The Assistant Head of Individual Giving is a key, senior role in the Individual Giving Section, overseeing the development and delivery of multi-channel direct marketing activities that inspire and motivate many thousands of new supporters to join the charity’s donor base each year. The post also leads the development and implementation of new acquisition products from concept to launch and meeting an annual fundraising target of approximately £1M. The role leads a unit of three people including one direct line report.

The successful candidate will have

• Extensive expertise in all aspects of direct marketing, specifically acquisition, including detailed knowledge and experience of how best to maximise both offline and online channels, as well as successfully implementing new and innovative products or offers.

Brief role description:

The NST Client Advisor plays a key role in delivering the support centre function for the programme. Working closely with the Nova Support Team (NST), the Advisor provides initial advice, guidance, and assistance to Veterans who are at risk of contact with the Justice System or are involved in the Justice System.​

As a NST Client Advisor, you will need experience in guiding and supporting individuals, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders while remaining highly organised and IT confident.

​Ideally, you will also have an understanding of the justice system, experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems and a resilient and adaptable approach.

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the day to day, month on month and annual statutory management of the finance function across all departments.  This is a leadership position where you will have the opportunity to help influence and improve financial reporting and controls as we navigate a newly installed financial system. People management skills with the ability to inspire and support colleagues, setting individual and team targets and strengthening the team are desirable; but we are happy to hear from you if this your first step into a people management role!.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate that they can build strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to communicate financial information to a non-financial audience.

• Hours: Full-time of 37.5 hours per week, or part-time considered (minimum of 0.8FTE, or open to considering flexible working options such as a term-time contract)
