More about the role: As Senior Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for a broad range of key finance activities, from day-to-day financial operations and reporting through statutory compliance and cashflow management. Working closely with our small finance team and colleagues across the charity, you will provide the accurate, timely financial information needed to support effective planning, reporting and decision-making. This is a practical, hands-on role with real variety, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a growing charity.
About you: We are looking for someone with significant hands-on accounting experience in a similar role, ideally within an equivalently sized or larger organisation. One role focuses on maintaining and supporting our successful, established service in West Yorkshire.

As our ideal candidate you will be happy to travel in and around Yorkshire, and be able to travel regularly to meet with the team and to conduct home visits across the region. You will also need to be able to attend our Leeds Warehouse, or other areas when required.

About the role
CoramBAAF’s membership is central to the organisation’s aims and activities. The Member Services Team provides a comprehensive service to corporate, associate and individual members and customers in all four nations of the UK. We have an exciting opportunity to become a member of our farm leadership team as a Skills and Wellbeing Lead. You will lead the Skills and Wellbeing Programme at Oasis City Farm – Southampton, delivering high-quality sessions, therapeutic activities and workshops for adults and young people. With the aim of building knowledge, practical skills, confidence and wellbeing through animal care, gardening and nature-based learning. This will include leading our Adult day service; developing opportunities for farm users to gain qualifications; facilitating wellbeing workshops and provision that build mental health wellbeing; working with the community lead to develop our volunteer and work placement programme; work alongside our garden assistant to lead on our garden project development, ensuring it is sustainable. About this role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious fundraiser to join our growing Philanthropy Team.
As Senior Philanthropy Fundraiser, you will play a key role in securing significant support from major donors, philanthropists, high-value supporters and donor-advised funds. You will manage a portfolio of existing and prospective supporters, building meaningful relationships that inspire transformational giving and long-term partnerships with Alder Hey Children's Charity.
Working closely with colleagues across the Charity, you will create bespoke engagement opportunities, develop compelling cases for support and deliver exceptional stewardship that demonstrates the impact of philanthropy. You will also help identify new opportunities to grow our philanthropy programme through networking, events and relationship-building with professional advisors and influential supporters.

Key responsibilities will include:
Relationship Management and Philanthropy
· Manage a portfolio of existing and prospective major donors, philanthropists and other high-value supporters.
· Develop tailored cultivation, solicitation and stewardship plans that maximise long-term support and donor engagement.
· Deliver exceptional supporter experiences through meetings, events, hospital visits and bespoke engagement opportunities.
· Build a strong pipeline of prospects and identify opportunities to grow philanthropic income.
Networking and New Business Development
· Represent Alder Hey Children's Charity at networking events, philanthropy forums and relevant sector events.
· Build relationships with new prospects, influential supporters and professional networks.
· Support the development of relationships with solicitors, wealth managers, philanthropy advisors and donor-advised funds to create new philanthropic opportunities.
Collaboration and Impact
· Work closely with clinicians, senior stakeholders and colleagues across the Charity to develop compelling funding opportunities and cases for support.
· Demonstrate the impact of philanthropy through high-quality stewardship and supporter communications.
