Dementia UK has an opportunity for a Campaigns Officer to play a key role in delivering our influencing strategy to help transform dementia care, in line with our 2025-2030 organisational strategy.
As part of an ambitious and collaborative team, you will support the development and delivery of impactful campaigns that engage supporters, influence decision-makers, and amplify the voices of people affected by dementia.
Working closely with the Campaigns Manager and colleagues across Policy, Campaigns and Public Affairs and Marketing and Communications, you will support the delivery of effective campaign strategies, compelling communications and supporter mobilisation activity across online and offline channels.
Alongside our existing Campaigns Officer, you will be a key contact for our campaigners, managing day-to-day communications and helping to build an engaged and active campaigner community. You will lead on developing our offline campaigning offer, working with people with lived experience of dementia across the UK to empower them to take meaningful action to improve dementia care. This will include creating campaign toolkits and resources.
You will have experience delivering influencing campaigns across online and offline channels and building strong relationships with supporters and stakeholders. You will be confident in tailoring messages for different audiences and communicating sensitively about complex issues relating to dementia.
You will be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and motivated by the opportunity to help improve the lives of people affected by dementia through campaigning.

About the role
As Senior Supporter Retention Officer (Loyalty and Regular Giving), you will lead the development of supporter-led, multi-channel fundraising campaigns. You’ll design bespoke supporter journeys that build loyalty and develop regular giving campaigns, including upgrade, conversion and reactivation. In recognition of the distinct challenges facing young women and girls (YWG), Advance has developed and delivers specialist provision for young women and girls on the Maia & Lift programme, in partnership with other specialist organisations.
Our team of Maia Mentor Advocates deliver consistent, holistic support to a small caseload of YWG, working to build relationships of trust, empower YWG to explore their identities, sense of safety, aspirations, and providing practical help and advocacy where needed. As a CJS Advocate for Maia, the postholder will work closely with the Maia Team to provide gender and age specific support to young women and girls at risk of gang involvement, exploitation or in contact with the criminal justice system, to safeguard YWG, capture and record outcomes and enhance the knowledge of other professionals working with this cohort.

You will bring your experience and ability to work intensively with a selected cohort of YWG (aged 13-25), providing centre-based and outreach services and adopting a YWG-centred, strengths-based approach to deliver a range of support and interventions designed to: increase awareness and understanding of healthy relationships; reduce risk and increase feelings of safety; build self-confidence and confidence in professionals and support services; and empower YWG to assert their rights and make choices about future goals. Confidently and sensitively bring the ability to proactively assess risks and safety concerns, raising concerns with the Maia Service Manager, ensuring that, where possible, concerns are discussed openly with YWG, working within local safeguarding frameworks and taking appropriate action to safeguard YWG whilst working within a model of empowerment.
You will have a strong understanding of the challenges facing vulnerable YWG including issues related to violence against women and girls and/or the criminal justice system, and experience of community engagement, advocacy and support work with young people and experience of using motivational interviewing and coaching techniques, with the ability to demonstrate a YWG-centred approach to building trust and rapport.

Part of this role includes the coordination with the nia’s Anti-Racism Working Group to co-produce tangible outcomes; harnessing the expertise of those most impacted by racism and embedding an Anti-Racist framework across the organisation.

Safe housing is crucial to the recovery of survivors and two-thirds of the women we support have a housing need. This is an exciting new role to help build pathways and partnerships with housing organisations and landlords to support women and children to safety and recovery.
About the Role
The Landlord & Lettings Partnership Manager will lead on securing suitable accommodation for our service users both while they are in Solace’s services (including refuges and supported accommodation for women experiencing multiple disadvantage) and as they transition to independent living, by building strong partnerships with private landlords and registered housing providers.
As part of the business development team you will work independently to source properties, developing landlord relationships and ensuring sustainable tenancies that benefit both landlords and tenants. You will act as the bridge between landlords and applicants — identifying opportunities, negotiating agreements and supporting successful placements.
You will act as a key link between landlords, housing providers and frontline services, building a pipeline of landlords, establishing systems and processes to delivering a new letting broker service and delivering this as a working concept. Your work will directly contribute to service targets and long‑term housing solutions for survivors.
About You
You bring experience working with landlords, lettings or housing services, ideally within supported housing, homelessness or the private rented sector. You are confident building relationships, negotiating effectively and managing a varied workload in a fast‑paced environment.
