Job description

Are you a digital dynamo who wants to use your expertise to help people at the edges encounter and follow Jesus? Can you radically advance our digital acquisition, help us hone our conversion journeys and persuade people to be part of God’s mission through CMS? Are you ready to manage a small, nimble team of talented, creative, passionate people? Then apply to be our new digital marketing manager.

Ø  Permanent, full time: 35 hours per week.

Ø  Hybrid working: two days a week at CMS House, Oxford.

Ø  Starting salary of £42,840 per annum with a generous pension contribution: up to 10 per cent employer contribution on annual salary. Incremental increases to salaries are applied annually.

Ø  CMS offers 36 days of annual and bank holiday leave as well as enhanced paid sickness, maternity, paternity and adoption leave

Ø  CMS supports the mental wellbeing of its employees and offers a generous rewards and wellbeing package, including:

· Access to 24/7 employee assistance programme with qualified counsellors.

· Up to three volunteer days per annum.

· Up to three family emergency leave days per annum.

Your role

The position is perfect for an experienced digital marketer who loves being at the cutting edge of the charity or not-for-profit space and who likes to see the direct impact of your work on growing our ministry. You will be working for an organisation that actively invests in marketing excellence.

What you’ll need to succeed

We are looking for a proactive and talented person who has a strong skillset in digital marketing along with experience in a fundraising environment. You will effectively lead and manage a team to retain and grow mass market fundraising. You will have experience of developing digital platforms and tools, delivering to an income budget and strong experience of leading, managing and developing people.

It is a requirement for this post holder to be a committed and practising Christian as well as committed to CMS’s values and aims.
